About the hotel: Very pleasant stay. Hotel is very hard to find.... area is nicely located/ near Saphan Taksin Skytrain stop. Breakfast was not good. We only at there 2 of the 5 nights we stayed. Great value for the money.
About the reservation service: Excellent as usual.
About the hotel: We stayed in a villa on the beach which was lovely as we had a great view of the beach and across to Koh Phangan. This place was on an isolated and quiet beach which we had to ourselves most days. The main problem however was the traffic noise from the main road which became unbearable after a while. The pool is right next to the road so there is not much peace and quiet there either. These places are great if you are looking for a holiday house which is self-contained, however you need to be prepared for the traffic noise. Some of the other Coconut places are better placed as they are a bit further from the road and the pools are next to the beach, so the setting and the noise is better. Also, our visit was during the low season when the tides are very low and the beach is not really swimmable.
About the reservation service: Very good - no problems.
About the hotel: Paradise! We absolutely loved it. Our house was spacious, well equipped and ideal for chilling out. It was a bit cloudy and rainy the first week, but we could just relax on the verandah, much better than being stuck in a hotel room. Good, simple restaurants are a short walk along the beach or the road and better still, the staff will cook your selection from a reasonable menu and bring it to the house - so you don t even have to move. We have been to Samui a couple of times before, and we think this is the best place on the island for peace, quiet & relaxation. It s not for you if you want nightlife, fancy restaurants or shopping and you will need to hire a bike, car or taxi or take a songthaew to explore the island beyond Bang Po beach or do any significant shopping. The Coconut office is close by to arrange trips and anything else you need.
We would have no hesitation in going back there again and again!

on the beach. Ban Tai beach is a quiet spot on the north shore of Samui,
with a view to Koh Phangan, the National Marine Park and the stunning

Coconut Village is the first beach
project developed by the company and has 16 houses on it. 11 of these
houses are available for holiday rental.
A1, A3, A4 are all Deluxe villas directly
on the beach and each have 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
A2 is a Deluxe villas directly on the
beach with 2 double bedrooms , 2 bathrooms and a Jacuzzi.
A9 is a deluxe villa directly on the
beach and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
A7 and A8 are standard beach front villas
with 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
B1 and B6, located in the 2nd row, are
standard Villas, with 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
B3 and B5 is also a Standard villa in the
2nd row with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
C3 is a standard villa in the 3rd row
very close to the pool with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
All of our villas are
uniquely furnished and decorated by their owners, many of the villas have
air conditioned bedrooms [please check for details], all have wooden
flooring, large lounge, outside terraces and a kitchen, so that self
catering is made easy and convivial.
Additionally, we can arrange a private cook,
daily housekeeping and even fridge stocking leaving you more free time to
lounge on the beach, swim in the sea or the swimming pool within the
project.
Baby cots or extra beds are available upon
request. For your convenience, local supermarkets, internet shops and
numerous beach bars and restaurants are located within walking distance.
For the energetic types we provide the use of a
fully equipped gym in Santi Thani just a few minutes away. As to the
adventurous ones, we can arrange elephant trekking, horse riding, island
tours, scuba diving, snorkeling as well as car and motorbike rental.
