About the hotel: Rooms were clean and nice. However, we forked out for the top line beachfront bungalow but when we arrived there was a whole row of bungalows in front of us. When we asked they said that all were considered beachfront and offered us no change and nothing in return. We felt very annoyed and ripped off - our room was clearly not beachfront , more like bungalow-front .
If you do stay at this place, make sure you pay extra for airport pick up. We paid 600 baht to be taken to the wrong bay view resort (even though we showed them the address) and then when the other bay view called our resort they said they would come and pick us up... for a further 300baht. As it was 8pm at night and it was pitch black we didn t really have any other choice.
About the reservation service: Sawadee was an excellent booking service. We used it for everywhere we stayed in Thailand and it had the best prices and was easy and reliable.
About the hotel: Great Hotel - I can only highly recommend it. We stayed 6 days in a Beachfront bungalow and had an amazing time. The perfect place to simply relax, enjoy the nature and a beautiful environment. The room was big and included a lovely balcony with stretcher. The personnel was always very friendly and supportive.
And apart from the relaxing part, with a motorbike (for very few money), you are quickly in Lamai Beach and in 25 minutes in Chaoweng Beach.
One tip: order the Hotel shuttle in advance (400 Bhat). There are no real taxis at the airport, but only a private taxi shuttle service (min. 600 Bhat).

About the hotel: I cannot recommend this hotel. The prices are high and do not give value. We had booked seaview but there was no seaview. The staff in the restaurant gave us the wrong food several times due to their lack of english. The beach looks nice but when you enter the water you hurt your feet all the time. The pool is very small. To get to restaurants and shopping you have to take taxi all the time. Lamai and Chaweng have better prices and better beaches.

About the hotel: my friend and i stayed in one of the standard fan rooms for 7 days.
our stay was nice, staff was generally friendly, and the location is off the main road enough to enjoy a very calm, quiet week.
however, they tried to charge us a dinner and and several drinks at the bar that we didn t have (we were on another island that night!), and when we had them book our ferry to koh tao, they booked us on the wrong (slower, cheaper) ferry and charged us for the faster, more expensive one (30% more!).
if you stay there, be sure to check the bills and make your reservations somewhere else!
About the hotel: Very good choice. Close to Lamai but far enough away to be away from the hustle & bustle. Simple rooms but with everything you need. Beachfront villas have huge balconys to sit out and enjoy the view of the bay and at night, the lights of Lamai. Great pool, good restaurant with plenty of Thai choices and very reasonable prices.
Great for couples and families. Very good service. We will definitely go back!
About the hotel: a bit far to the nice lamai beach. bungalows are really not spacey and too expensive. we had much better acomodations for lower prices. it s always like that when the owner is not a Thai.
