Peter Bush 2009-02-06	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach Great location, and we had a free room upgrade to a suite. That s the only positive things I can say. The staff were less than friendly. I wouldn t give a dog the breakfast that was on offer. The shower is only of use if you are a midget. There was a constant smell of sewage from the drain in the bathroom. The aircon almost made more noise than all the night clubs in Patong. Internet was expensive. I must point out that this hotel was not our first option.	Excellent service as usual from the Sawadee team.

Malaysian people 2008-08-07 until 2008-08-10	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach The location of the hotel was good, just 3 minutes walking to the Patong beach and nearby to the centre of all activities in Patong. The staffs are also friendly but have a problem to speak well in English. If u rent a motorbike, u need to park infront of the hotel in the morning and move the motorbike accross the road in the evening. You need to do this on your own and do not rely on the hotel staffs to do that for you even if they promise to do that for you. On my last day at White Sand Resortel, they forgot to move our motorbike and we re fined TB500 by the police to open the padlock of the motorbike and another TB60 as a fare to go to and fro the police station. The breakfast was not good because they only served u a bread, strawberry jam, eggs, baked beans & hotdogs everyday. If u want other than that, u need to pay by yourself. Please ask to stay in room at 3rd or 4th floor if u want to see the beach from your balcony. They only have a small swimming pool at the 4th floor. Please beware if you use the pool because the edges of the stairs to going down to the pool is very sharp.	Easy to book, pay & confirm. The price is lower compare to the other web. I will use sawadee.com again if come back to Thailand.
Travis Boothman 2008-06-13 until 2008-06-17	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach The first thing my wife and I noticed as we walked in the reception area was the disgusting smell, and it never changed the whole time we where there, the staff were ok, The room its self was great, big, 2 TVs, (we stayed in the royal suite), nice comfortable bed, very big shower, but that s where the good things ended, the shower yes it was huge but the problem was the slope that lets the water run to the drain, ran into the bathroom so everytime we showered the bathroom flooded, the A/C was the noises ever, and then of course no double glazed doors so you can hear everything from the bar across the road, the toilet was ALWAYS blocked. So I would not recommend to stay at this hotel, unless of course you like swimming in your bathroom, and having a bad smell everytime you walk in the hotel, oh and one more thing, after we checked in we waited about 5 mins for the lift to come down, we get in about 2 minutes later we arrive at our floor, when we went to go out we decided to take the stairs and well we where 10 steps from the reception area, so the lift ride to start was not needed.	Sawadee.com is as always fantastic, I had a few problems but they helped me and I have recommended them to all my staff(I work in a casino), as they truely are great.

The people tried hard, especially the guys at breakfast. Location was not the greatest. Overall acceptable for the in Phuket.

Very pleased with the good service the staff rendered. Will definitely go back there again as the location s superb too!	Swift and provided very good prompt replies!

Also, we were charged for a broken seal on a liquor bottle which was never opened. Beds are comfortable. Nothing was ever missing from our room so I consider this hotel worth trying, we enjoyed our stay over all.	Sawadee is very easy to use and all bookings were confirmed in a timely manner. Will use again on next holiday. Thank you for a stress free holiday.

Breakfast could have been better, but we did not mind. Location is good, close to the center, but not too busy. The sea is 1 min only. It was worth the price we paid.	excellent!
Mrs Cheryl Maree Lowings 2008-02-07 until 2008-02-10	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach This hotel is absolutely disgusting and i would never...even if you paid me...stay there again. The breakfast was okay to look at i suppose but there were ants crawling all through the bread and something i bit into was off. I don t think they wash their hands because i caught worms from there and an intestinal bug. My daughter and i also fell three floors and crashed to the bottom in their dodgy elevator. The receptionist was screaming and crying as it fell and we were all frightened and yet no concern was showed...in fact, they had the nerve to overcharge me to have the laundry done. I paid $69 au dollars for a small amount of laundry after i had already confirmed with the receptionist that it was 50 baht per kilo before handing it over. When i complained about the expense i was told that was the price and i could call the police if i wasn t happy but they wouldn t refund any money. While most of the staff seem nice, it is a shame they have a silly little greedy owner...or should i say, son of the owner. Their was mould on the shower curtain and overall, i wholeheartedly hated my stay. If you plan on staying there, make sure you have some worming tablets with you and use the stairs.	This booking company is great although for the safety of their patrons, i suggest they take this unsafe hotel off their list.

It was difficult to book a room in Phuket due to late decision and the Chinese New Year, but this was a good choice. Our reservation was ready and the hotel and rooms were very clean for a rather old hotel. Breakfeast was very basic but good and the area is perfect for walking on the beach and general night life. For the money, this was perfect.	The reservation and booking service was pretty basic and easy. Everything was found as promised and our reservations were ready without a hitch in three Thailand locations. Nice job!

Room was basic, breakfast was standard American. The hotel staff were very helpful to all our needs. Would definitely come back.	How can anyone complain about Sawadee.com???

Short way to the beach, just to cross the street and also a short way to the night life. We did not get disturbed from the traffic. We stayed there two times, totally 7 nights during a period of two weeks.	The booking service worked very well.

Venkatachalam Rajkumar 2008-01-01 until 2008-01-05	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach Ideally located within ywo minutes of Patong beach and 10minutes from the action packed Bangla Road where the nightlife is. Room was large but we did not get the double bed we wanted. Bathroom was primitive and water pressure bad. Water was warm and sometimes hot. Foul smell from the toilet like a sewer smell. Same smell you get soon as you come on to the street like a clogged of sewerage system. Night shift reception was mono syllabic and non responsive. Breakfast was hopeless. Anyway, said to be cheap rates during the peak time we stayed there. Loads of noise from a pub across the road that stayed open late night everynight. So dont take a room facing the street. So, nothing spectacular about this hotel. I guess you pay cheap you get sud standard facilities! Wont stay there again as the toilet stink is still in my nose!!	I was offered a room with breakfast but when I wanted the same room minus the breakfast at a lower rate that was published, i was told that there were no rooms. What s the logic here?
Bev Whittel 2007-12-31 until 2008-01-03	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach Hotel was in good location, however the service and food leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast was not ready at stated times on 2 different days. Room nice but not cleaned very well on a daily basis. We had no glasses and had to ask for some, they insisted on checking the room for them first. Would stay there again, however not in peak season as price high for what it was.	Booking service good, helpful and offered alternative.

I stayed there for 12 nights, and the hotel is simply not worth the price I payed. The cleaning is very poor and I did not have any hot water for 12 days! Though I did tell them 3 times. The breakfast is very simple but ok. Pool is the size of a bathtub! TV signal is very bad and sometimes there where no signal. A ok hotel if the price was 1500 baht but not 2950 baht!!	Easy with Sawadee as always. No problems.
P & N 2007-12-26 until 2007-12-28	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach In the middle of Patong quite near the beach. Thai Karaoke disturb until 3am:( Not much to choose from a fixed breakfastmenu. A wear-down hotel in every aspect. The pool on the roof was ok though. No internetaccess available in the hotel. A ok stay if you don´t want anything fancy.	Swift and accurate as ever

Rooms were very large and had everything you need, but they could do with dusting in ALL places as there were plenty of cobwebs about! The overall service was not the best we have experienced in Thailand. The breakfast was a laugh, it was very simple but you had to make sure you asked for everything or you didn t get it, i.e. coffee, milk for the coffee, orange juice. I don t know what they were doing with the orange but I have never seen such a performance of watering it down! The Christmas Gala Dinner was a let down, very badly organised, cold Indian food and the dancers spent more time eating and drinking than dancing! Oh well, this was our second Christmas in Thailand and we definitely come back for a third, but I doubt we would stay at this hotel again.	Excellent as always.

Winnie Ong 2007-08-24 until 2007-08-27	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach White Sand Resortel was a very bad experience. being a 3-star hotel, I ought to know i should not have too much expectations & all i need is a decent clean room. We have booked 3 deluxe rooms. All rooms are filled with mosquitos due to the plot of undeveloped land within the hotel premise, you have to pass this dirty plot of land in order to get to your rooms from the hotel lobby.The bed was dirty with numerous strands of hair and the sheets were stained and worst of all when i called the frontdesk for help, they actually said there is housekeeping at 10pm. The towels given are of very used, tattered condition and are of different colors everyday which i find it strange that the hotel seem to have recycled everything. The hotel also demands that we check out before 12noon, not 5mins more or they will charge THB100 per hour thereof. I have stayed at Burasari earlier this year during the peak season and it is completely a different experience. I have travel extensively and this is the worst hotel i have ever come across, even for a 3-star standard.	easy to use and trustworthy site to book your rooms.
Maribel Flores 2007-08-02 until 2007-08-05	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach Our stay at White Sand was great. The rooms and bathrooms are clean which is very important. This is a great place to stay if you like to be close to the beach and shops without needing to be in the middle of all the hussle and bussle. We stayed with a group of 8 people and we were all please with the staff and location. The pool was also great. The lift did not always work though. Great value for money and for those who want to be close to everything and on a budget.	Very prompt reply and service. I would definately use this service again.

Appreciate tne prompt replies on the queries and reservation.

SBD 2006-09-18 until 2006-09-21	White Sand Resortel, Patong Beach Good location, one minute to Beach but hotel is still under renovation. Pool not finished by middle of September as advertised. Room was nice but had view to back yard where cars and construction trash are stored. Halfway through our stay the lift was placed out of service and being on third floor wasn t nice, especially hauling down luggage at end of stay. I feel the owner purposely turned the lift off because the construction workers were using it to haul materials up and down and didn t want it used so much...thus inconveniencing his guests. Wife chose Asian breakfast and asked for toast and wasn t informed until we went to leave breakfast that toast wasn t included in the Asian breakfast choice and we were charged 77 Baht for two pieces of bread. They should have informed it would be extra or maybe just charge 20 Baht, but $2.11 American for two slices of bread is robbery. For this reason alone, I will not stay at this hotel again. It shows the true mentality of the operation.	Smooth and effecient as I have always experienced with Sawadee.com

Very friendly and helpful staff. some construction going on at this time and swimming pool not finished yet. If you want location then this is the place to be, it is in the middle of everything and very close to the beach. Restaurants all around and Bangla rd right up the street. Very good accomodation for the money.	excellent service and will only use sawadee for my Thailand bookings.

However, the room was cosy and its clean most importantly. Great rooms! The hotel staff are nice and helpful in every ways when you have no idea where to go!	The booking is tremendously hassle free! greatly recommended to book hotels here!

Unfortunately they have no swimming pool yet, even they told so in sawadee.com and also in hotel s own website. Royal Suite Room 211 had problems with hot water suply and the bathroom wasn t cleaned well after construction (taps were partly covered by cement or mortar, walls were covered by construction dust etc...) and the personel didn t clean them well enough as we requested... Breakfast was too low class, if thinking of the room rates... Personel s attitude were always polite, but the cleaning thing above they failed badly. Recommended place after the hotel will be ready of all constructions. Good location indeed!	It worked well as always for me so far
