Kees Cornelissen 2009-04-30	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach Nice hotel, value for money. Good room, but noisy in the morning due to building activities around the hotel. About 7 Minutes walk from the nightlife of Bangla Road and the beach. I would stay here again for sure.	Easy to book. Well informed about the current booking.

I booked 3 rooms for 7 of us. breakfast was limited but ok. swimming pool was clean but a little small. overall we had a pleasant stay here! would recommend for those looking for a new hotel, walking distance to bangla road and beach.	Service was great. Booked 3 rooms for 7 of us.

Jamie Spears 2009-01-02	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach This hotel was perfect for what we wanted, close to the beach and Bangla Road, clean, air conditioned and exremely helpful staff. Depiste the resort being close to everything it is far enough away to not be to noisy. There are some buidling works going on either side of the hotel which will bve finished fairly soon but this did not effect our stay. I would recommend this hotel as good value for money.	I have used Sawadee serval times now and the service has always be superb.

Johnny Holmgren 2008-11-01	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach Poppa Palace is a very nice hotel. The location is very good, close to both the beach and the mainstreet in Patong and the Paradise Complex. Staff is friendly. Some construction work in a nearby hotel can cause noise sometimes.	Excellent service. Changed my reservations 2 times while in Thailand and they arranged the changes very quickly and efficient.

It was very reasonable for the price, nice spotless room, nice pool area, fantastic location with a 3 minute walk to the beach, in a good little area with a few nice restaurants, ladies to do your laundry and an excellent massage place directly across from the hotel! I have stayed in much more expensive hotels than this in patong, and yes they have a few more facilities and a bigger breakfast, but for these low rates, with such good service and location, you can t go past poppa palace!	Always a fantastic website to book through, they offer 50 times more options than the travel agent all with instant confirmation.

Only down side is the construction site next to the hotel, piles being driven from 10am to 4pm for what ever they are going to build.	Not a problem, was as good as gold.
Karin Lindqvist 2008-03-11 until 2008-03-14	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach This hotel was cousey and comfortable. The deluxe room has a big fridge with nice price on minibar. Nice personal and breakfast. If you ask you can take with you a box for breakfast the next day if you go very early. The pool didn t temped us but was probably ok. Since the hotel is in the middle between the two big roads, the taxidrivers can have a hard time to find (it s good to know when to turn). Thanks to this, it s very quite! But other guests can easy desterb from the hallway. Although Patong wasn t our cup of tea, too much people and tourists. We went to Kamala and Kata that was really nice and taxi good price. If you are tired of thai-food there is Mc Donalds and Burger King and big shoping center with western food 7 min away by foot.	As always great.

L hotel è carino, in buona posizione rispetto alla night life. Camere pulite anche se non grandissime. Staff amichevole e gentile. La colazione non è abbondantissima. This is our 3rd stay at Poppa Palace and still remains a fab hotel with exceptionally good room rates. Reception staff seem friendlier and much more welcoming this year,rooms are clean and of a good standard - although tiles in bathroom need re-grouting as they are beginning to look a little tired and a little grubby.Nevertheless, fabulous accom with an excellent breakfast included and made by boy who is a great guy and an assett to the Hotel. Overall another value for money stay in a clean comfortable hotel that just needs a little updating and refreshing.	good,hassle free booking.
Mr Paul Timmins 2008-03-06 until 2008-03-16	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach Really enjoyed my stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.Pool was abit on the small side but did not bother me as I am more of a beach person.Rooms were cleaned everyday and to a good standard.I would certainly recommend this hotel and would have no hesitatation in booking again as it is ideally sited for all the right things ,quiet yet only a few hundred yards from both the beach and the Bangla Road.All in all excellent value for money!!!	quick,efficient and idiot proof!!

Convenient location and friendly staff. will definitely stay again on next trip. Only inconvenience was that we ordered a queen bed,however got 2 singles pushed together to make a large King with a gap up the centre. Overall a very nice place to stay	No problems at all. Trouble free booking. What more can you ask for!

Would recommend to go to the beach instead of the pool as there is not much sun on the pool if working on your tan. The room was spotless, the bathroom was so clean - best shower i had in thailand, breakfast pretty average but it is the same everywhere, the staff were fantatstic. Stay here - such a quaint boutique hotel	Booking service was flawless!!!

One stop you can find everything. Would advised travellers to visit Phuket from April to October which is much cheaper coz the hotel rates is extremely high during peak season (Nov-Mar)Highly reccomended to this wonderful Poppa Palace Hotel. Will stay in this hotel again next time.	Excellent service. So convenient and easy to booked thru Sawadee.com. Credit to Ms Grace for her efficiency in the booking process.

It is only 5 minutes walk from beach road , paradise complex and Bangla road . Inspite of its proximity to the centre of activity it is very peaceful .The room was well equipped and cosy . The breakfast was sumptuous with a large variety to choose from .The staff is very friendly and can do better if they learn english .I will definitely recommend it to all and will stay here in my next visit .	very efficient . sawadee has been very communicative . keep it up

Sat 2007-10-06 until 2007-10-12	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach I booked a room at Poppa Palace, purely based on the reviews on this site and overall, it is a hotel I would definately recommend. The hotel is on a small, quiet side street, only a few minutes walk from Bangla Road; the entertainment district. The hotel appears to be a recent build property with clean, spacious rooms and tastefull decor. Hotel staff were all very friendly and approachable. During my stay, there was a minor problem with the bathroom water turning muddy brown at one stage, but this was quickly resolved within the hour. I would definately book at this hotel again.	Efficient and Faultless
Jeffrey 2007-08-24 until 2007-08-29	Poppa Palace, Patong Beach Positives - A delightful place where everything was nearby - the activities of Bang-La Road, the beach, and both main roads. Yet very quiet (as noted by previous reviewers) considering it was smack in the middle of everything. The rooms were very comfortable. Negatives - Generally the receptionists had lemon faces. But the service staff (breakfast and cleaning) were very friendly. Cable TV had a very wide language variety, but no sports or movies. Bring many books.	It was excellent and so easy. Will definitely try it again. The Your country currency converted to each hotel price, is priceless.

Pool is a bit small but accomodating. Breakfast is great too coz its buffet and always change the menu everyday. Staffs are friendly especially Koi. She s a great help with our Safari tour. Will recommend anyone who come to Phuket especially Patong area to stay at this hotel.	Very prompt and reliable.

Only 5mins from beach via a little alley shortcut. Hotel is quite new, so everything is modern, Great bathroom & shower. Small hotel thats well layed out with a small pool thats big enough to cool down in. Breakfast ok. Staff freindly & fun. There is another hotel being built next door, but not a problem. A 500bht charge was mentioned for night guest, but staff dont allways enforce it. So to sum up, we would stay again no problems, id rate it 9/10.	Great, no need for exspencive travel agents anymore.

The staffs are friendly & helpful.The location is well located but unfortunately, the path to the beach is not very ideal. Overall experience is very good. Recommended for staying in Poppa Palace.	It is easy & efficient.

It is pretty cheap compared to the equivelant hotels in patong, very close to the main strip Bangla Road and the beach. The staff were great, very happy, curteous and helpful. The older lady at reception is learning english and seemed a bit cold to start but we spoke to her and she is lovely. I encourage you to take some time to speak to the thai people, they make a huge effort. The pool was nice, room was clean, breakfast was adequate. Mozzies around the internet were bad. This place looks like it was knocked down in the tsunami and has been rebuilt. It is NEW and looks exactly as the photos show. I recommend you stay here if you are going to patong. I would definitely stay again. Number 6 restaraunt around the corner is cheap and very good food.	Always great. Fast and reliable. Sawadee price 1850baht, front desk price 2400baht.

Its the second time i have stayed here and will do again on my next visit also.	Booking service a little long winded, don t like having to pay up-front, would probably book direct with the hotel next time

The hotel is well apointed, reasonably priced and conveniently located near the beach and shopping. Booking over the net made me nervous having never seen the Phuket or the hotel, but was pleasantly relieved upon arrival.	I could not fault this service either, great work.

Clean, various and fresh breakfast allso quiet, if something is noisy it´s our self (falang/tourist). The rooms faces north and south so if you lean out from balkony you can see the sea. Only 3 min walk to beach(dirty small trail) or bank road. Staff wery friendly except one ignorant eldery girl in reception.All messages to reception we got 2-3 days late.The pool is so near the hotell so half mostly in shadow. Alldough we liked hotell much and the prise was very good. We miss some of the friendly staff in the reception and the pancake chef in the breakfast. Janne & CO/Åland/Finland	The booking system was great my last wish to get separate beds in one double room was left unoticed.But that could be an language problem.
