Kata Beach is very quiet place espacially for full relaxing holidays with family. I can really recommmend this Residence and Kata Beach.	see above

Anders 2008-01-26 until 2008-01-28	Kata Hill Residence, Kata Beach I requested Non-smoking but that is not available. Needless because the room was clean and had no bad smell at all. Rooms are very large and bright but the Superior room only had twin beds, not one double bed. I stayed on top floor (not rooftop because there are two small villas with garden on the rooftop. The room had a large balcony facing north away from the heat and with sea and pool view. It was great to relax there with a cool beer. AC was ok and there was an additional fan over the beds. ABF is included, but only Tea, Toast, Omelette and Fruit or Juice. The only quirks were the shower that had drainage across the bathroom and the steep uphill to the hotel. Not a problem unless you are disabled or have other walking problems. I really liked Kata Hill. The taxi had problems finding the place, look out for Italian Job CafÃ©, the turn left uphill if you come from Phuket town. Kata Hill Residence is located on the extension of Kata road heading south. Phuket seems very expensive so the 1790 THB per night must be considered good value for money, mostly due to the location and view. I can recommend this hotel and would book again.	Booking and online payment with CC was easy and flawless. I was charged according to displayed price. This was not the case when I used another booking service (AsiaRooms).

TED LYNCH 2007-03-03 until 2007-03-09	Kata Hill Residence, Kata Beach First impression was poor. Improved after a good night s sleep. We had to remove a very dirty sheet from bed and hide it away.Lovely friendly staff. Be prepared to walk up a very steep incline in the heat to reach hotel. Use of swimming pool very restricted, go to the beach! Recommended as a basic but inexpensive accomodation.	Very professional. Would prefer not to have to pay all in advance.
Mike Leigh 2007-01-03 until 2007-01-18	Kata Hill Residence, Kata Beach really nice guest house on a hill looking down on Kata. If you choose the bungalow rooms at the top you have a little garden area to yourself and a magnificent view of the Andaman. Guest house could do with a bit of a paint job and a make over but for the money very good value- clean, friendly, and if in Kata again i would return.
