Tommy 2008-10-25	Baumanburi Resort and Spa, Patong Beach The lowest price that the hotel offers is the room in the old building. No bath tub, facing the road. Do not imagine from the pictures that you see on the web since it s not the room type that you gonna get. The service is not that good. If you decide to have a breakfast there, please go early. If you go like 10am (breakfast offers till 10:30am) all waiters/waitress are looking forward to cleaning the buffet line, i.e. no service at all even coffee or tea. However, with the price of 1,000 baht/room/night. It s a good deal on Patong. You get what you pay

The room we stayed in must have been in an old section of the hotel as it was pretty basic compared to the overall standard of the hotel - however it offered good value for money and I would stay at the resort again. The position of the resort in Patong was really handy to everything and was relatively quiet away from the throng of it all.	offered very efficient service and very competitive prices

The receptionist was rude and unhelpfull. The cook that was frying the egg was not happy when I asked for 1!! The 1st time I stayed there was not too bad as the people there were nice at that time. My friends and I regretted staying there and swore never ton stay there again. Service sucks!!	Booking service was good....everything was in order

Right in the middle and very near the Otop bars and 5 mins walk to the beach thru a side lane. The hotel pool was also great. The only setback I had was that my room was not properly clean every morning. The floor was not swept and the used cups were at time not wash. Other than that it was a good deal to secure booking at this hotel. I ll be back again.	The booking was great and sawardee is always there to assist in anyway.

Our room was in a building the was renovating so we had some building noises daytime, not a biggie who is in the hotel room at daytime anyway.	It worked like a charm. No problem at all!

The room is big and quite clean. No bathtub for superior room. I like the layout of the pool area. It is big, clean with 5 types of Jacuzzis. The only disappointment I face is the breakfast. Breakfast provided but foods are 90% same through out my stay which is not good to consider staying long.	Good. I have use this service to make 2 hotels reservation in the same period. No issue in terms of booking and payment.

TYRONE WELCH 2008-04-14 until 2008-04-17	Baumanburi Resort and Spa, Patong Beach hotel was beautiful, room was wonderful. we had the delux room. all rooms have a balcony with a beautiful view. we enjoyed our stay here and would recomend it to anyone. only downside was checking in. first they did nt had our voucher and one of the clerk had an attitude and told us we had to go find internet service somewhere to print out our voucher. unbelieveable right!!! i had to gave the supervisor a piece of my mind, and he allowed me to used the hotel internet service to print out the voucher they should have had in the first place. this is a common thing at the hotel, so please take your voucher with you if you can.

It s location is decent in relation to restaurants, the main strip (Soi Bang la) and the beach. The rooms were okay. At first we were put in a room that reaked of cigarettes but we had no problems switching to a non-smoking room. The breakfast buffet was delicious but make sure you get there early enough because once something runs out, they don t make more. I would definitely recommend this hotel.	Sawadee.com is easy and safe to use. I have used this booking service several times and have never had any problems.

It was a little bit dark because the sun couldn´t reach it because the hotelbuilding around it is to high. The reception staff was not frendly and give no service at all. We wanted help to book a table in a restaurang and they didnt help us at all. We ask them to give us a wakeup call in the morning and they didnt. All other service in the hotel was good. Breakfast very good with a lot of choise. If we going back to Patong again we will stay att Duangjitt Resort or Amari Coral instead both hotel is exellent in all ways.	Allways good service. Simply the best bookingservice on internet.

The hotel is currently adding a new wing (the final step before they surround the pool), and so staying here is like living in a construction site. The noise, which is deafening at the best of times, goes from 7am to 7pm and lounging by the pool is virtually impossible with a 100 Thai builders eyeing you all the time. On a more positive note, the hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and the buffet is good. Wait a year and come back when they clean up… and maybe manage to hire some front desk staff who know how to smile.	Worked great, I couldn t get the room I wanted, but Sawadee.com was helpful with waiting lists and eventually I got a nice room.

Some misunderstandings happened, and the hotel manager threatened to call the police to settle the issue. Strongly not recommended for guests looking for service quality.	Reliable, trustworthy, prompt response!

Loud noise from streets at night. The pool is overcrowded and is dirty and the staff were not friendly or welcoming. We could not leave any more quicker than we did.	Fine

It is located right next to the markets for easy cheap shopping without the hassle of having to travel. Only 5min walk to the beach. The pool is great, it is very large and has a nice pool bar to get that cold drink whilst staying cool.	Sawadee.com was an easy way to book our holiday. They have a very large selection of resorts.

They have started to built a new hotel beside the pool and it was larmed a lot.Breakfast was good but it was small.	We have used this booking service many times and it´s very good,No problem.

The pool is beautiful and the buffet breakfast is fantastic - everything you could ever want for breakfast! We were in a standard room which was nice but they gave us two single beds instead of a double. Great location - close to market and beach.	Very easy although I wasn t aware we had to pay the full amount before we arrived. It was lucky I happened to check my email on the day the full amount was due.

There was work going on on the building next door but patong beach is a pretty busy place so will be noisy anywhere you stay i reckon. Most of the staff were not very friendly, however one staff member was extremely friendly and helpful, when the fuse blew in our room, someone was sent up right away. good value for money.	easy.

The room was fine & comfortable, bathroom had a glass wall so you can see the view while lying in the bathtub. Pool was great. My 5-yr old enjoyed it v much. But the hangers in the cupboard was just too high up. Only snag is you can t adjust the temperature in the room. And....the hotel forgot to pick us fr the airport. In any case you don t need that service (which is more expensive)as you can easily hire a cab for bht550 fr the airport to take you there.	Booking with Sawadee is easy,convenient and rather fast in responding to email queries too. You pay a deposit first & they will remind you for remaining payment just before the trip.
Sam 2006-12-06 until 2006-12-07	Baumanburi, Patong Beach Very bad experience! Standard room is so much different from what you saw on web, feel cheated! Best of all no lift for their so call standard room yet. But luckily, we met a good recept manager that evening and he has offered me a superior room instate. Most staff i met there are rude, except for the recept floor manager and a older front desk man working in the early morning. Thanks guys, you save my last nite stay in Phuket. What an experience!!!! Don t be fool by pictures in the web. Rated as 3/10 only.	Good and fast respones when in doubt. But are you guys working only on office hours only?
Belinda Ehlers 2006-11-21 until 2006-11-26	Baumanburi, Patong Beach I would give this hotel a 7.5 for the time i stayed. the room was nice, big bed (but really hard) got all u need. the pool was beautiful and so was most of the resort. i stayed in the cheapest room and it was on the road side which wasnt that good.. little bit noisy. there is currently construction on the building we were in, i think theyre putting in elevators. when we walked up 2 our room on the 2nd floor we had to walk through it all. it was a bit of an eye sore... all in all apart from the position of our room the resturaunt was yummy and buffet breakfast great. wen u book request a room in overlooking the pool theyll b better. very nice hotel!	easy booking everything went smoothly

NIGEL CARSON 2006-01-10 until 2006-01-19	Baumanburi, Patong Beach Arrived at hotel and first impressions was wow and had made a great choice.The room was very nice and also pool area.That soon changed when i went for brekfast fruit and cerial were on tables and were coverd in flyes had to wait fot staff to clear tabes bacon was cold and no choice rooms were cleaned every day but no more than 5 mins never cleaned floor or bath. i was very disapointed with hotel service and will not be returning to bamaburi in future.	very good as usuall
Dr Qaiser Hai 2005-12-29 until 2006-01-02	Baumanburi, Patong Beach Fine resort, great pool and even greater service. Comfortable and luxurious, and the pool access rooms were simply divine. The service was exceptional, with personnel going so far out of their way to please, that they drove my father to the hospital (wrist sprain), brought him back and even offered to lend him money to pay the medical bill as he had forgotten his wallet in the hotel. Only complaint was the breakfast, which was bland and inadequate. Fantastic place nonetheless.	Efficient, no problems.
Anil Shivdasani 2005-11-10 until 2005-11-26	Baumanburi, Patong Beach Stayed with my wife and Baby at the Baumanburi Resort and Spa from November 10th to November 26th 2005. The resort was excellent with a great swimming pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times. The location was great, about 10 to 15 minutes walk to all the nightlife. Quite a few restaurants near by. The SHAKERS Pizzeria and Steakhouse located within the resort serves GREAT Food. We had a great time staying at the Baumanburi and would highly recommend to all. One more recommendation, BOOK EARLY to get the best deal i.e. ) 2 months before arival. Thanks to all the staff at Baumanburi. From, Anil Shivdasani and Family.	Excellent Service with Great Value which I could not find on any other web hotel booking service. Had no problems when checking in to the hotels that I booked via Sawadee. Gerardine Clifford 2005-10-11 until 2005-10-20	Baumanburi, Patong Beach Its a brand new hotel which would make you think that everything would be up to scratch. Unfortunately it wasn t. Our transfers didn t collect us from the airport and they sent a little Toyota sedan to take 3 women who had been shopping for 10 days to take us back....of course we weren t going to fit our suitcases in a little car (even without the shopping). You can only make overseas calls from reception not from your room. The staff have very limited english so its difficult to get them to act on your problems. The room doors kept jamming and we often had to go back to reception which can be very frustrating espcially since the lifts kept breaking down. Also none of the tuk tuk drivers knew where the Baumanburi was so they kept taking us to another hotel with a similar name. However, it is in a pretty good location, right next to the Patong Otop markets and one street back from Patong Beach. It has an amazing pool and some rooms come right up to the pool, so you can get out of the pool and be standing in your room. Its within good walking distance to lots of nice restaurants, salons and massage parlours but far enough away so that you don t get all the night noise. If they can sort out the teething problems with a new hotel I would fully recommend it as a nice affordable place to stay.	Very simple to use and everything was in place as I had requested.
