J Bruce 2008-05-17 until 2008-05-22	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach Very nice room and friendly staff as in the past. Rates have been increased a bit since first time I stayed there, especially for low season, but it did include breakfast- which was quite good. Walk to Bangla road is very manageable. I am happy with this hotel and will return.	Lightning fast and no problems.

Staff were excellent and friendly even late into the evening. Bonus of relaxing shoulder massage after a long day on the beach. Good breakfast too, which is a rarity in my experience.	Good, continues to be my preferred choice for booking.
Laila Hallonqvist 2008-03-30 until 2008-04-21	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach I stayed at Lamai Hotel 4 weeks in November 2007 and 3 weeks in April 2008, I really like this hotel. Nice and clean room, very friendly staff and a small restaurant serving breakfast and other meals. All to a low cost.Lamai is close to beach and Bangla road, where everything happens. So I will sure stay at Lamai again. And I really can recommend it.	Always good and quick service.
Dale Holland 2008-02-22 until 2008-02-25	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach I really liked this hotel. It s location is ideal - 5 min walk to Bangla Rd, 10 min walk to beach. Rooms were of a high standard really. Lift to all levels. Good cable tv channels. Good mini bar. There is a massage place adjacent to reception. The hotel s restaurant is a good place to sit and have a beer and watch the world go by. They have brand new scooters (fast ones) for hire (300 B/day). Staff are always pleasant. I will definitely be staying here again.	No problems

The rooms are great value,big, clean and have everything you need.	as always superb
F.M. VanGellekom 2007-12-24 until 2008-01-11	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach Friendly and competent staff but their English could be better. Room was simple but well equipped. Everyday cleaning was excellent. All services provided were good. Would be staying there again.	As allways no problems.

It was a little inconvenient when we turned up at the Lamai Hotel, because we were actually booked in at their sister property the Lamai INN , even though our paperwork didn t say that. However, they were quite close to each other and the young men helped us carry all our luggage to our rooms at the Inn. Could be pretty noisy of a night time though - street traffic and noisey neighbours. Not the best we stayed at whilst at Patong, but we would stay there again if our fav. hotel was booked out.	Easy and convenient
John Saunders 2007-11-14 until 2007-11-20	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach Good budget hotel with typical facility such as bar/restaurant, travel agent, motorcycle hire, salon etc. About 5 - 6 minutes walk to Soi Bangla. Friendly staff. Only downside was safety deposit box was not available until day after my check in	This is my fourth time to use Sawadee. Never had a problem they have always been fast & efficent. If requested accomadation is not available they offer suitable alternatives

Jim - Melbourne 2007-04-12 until 2007-04-18	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach Lamai, is an excellent value for money hotel. Staff are really cool. Bed was a bit lumpy, but otherwise very enjoyable. Only thing i would do next time is request a room that is not facing the front road, as it was very noisy. Maybe songkran had something to do with that!	I have used sawadee many times and have never had an issue. I certainly will use them again

Jukka Rissanen 2007-03-05 until 2007-03-10	Lamai Hotel, Patong Beach First feeling was that the map on the Sawadee was really not to scale . Hotel was not SO near Bangla road as I understood, but it was not too far. Walking distance anyway. Hotel room was clean and well equipped. Food in the restarurant in the lobby was really good. The only thing that disturbed me was that the breakfast was not included in the price, but I had to pay for it every morning (150 THB, not bad). Hotel staff was really nice. They helped me to arrange trips around the island and even helped me to arrange my trip onwards from Phuket. In my opinion service was 9.5 on the scale 4-10. Finally, I d say that this hotel is really worth of money!

But it s clean and more or less comfortable with air conditioning etc. I think the thing that really bothered me was that the mattress was horrible. If you can t have a decent night s sleep because of a mattress, you re paying too much. You re better off paying a bit more for a place that is so much more comfortable.	Great. Very prompt. No problems encountered.
