Very good hotel, 2 nice swimmingpools. nice down beat town, without all of the not so charming tings you see in other parts of Phuket.

Great location with well appointed rooms that are very clean and a good size. We had pool view room with two other couples in our travelling party have similar. Friendly and helpful staff especially since we were stranded for a couple of days and had to extend. great spot to chill out and relax. Close to Phuket airport with some great eateries close by. Very enjoyable stay

Simple and efficient to use.

We liked the accommodation at this resort, which is undergoing extension work at present. The room (Thai mini-suite) was a large upstairs room with little living room (where a child can sleep) and balcony.Very new decor, modern shower/ stylish dark wood furniture with white walls and good flooring- a good modern minimalist feel. Very clean and light. It is a fairly large resort (2 pools) with lots of frangipani trees and mature shrubs. Right next door is a superb massage place with very good Thai massage. Beach 1 min away and local restaurants very cheap and food excellent. Staff discreet, non-intrusive but friendly. Breakfast bit limited it breakfast is available in any cafe nearby. We liked the local feel and not many tourists out of season but not too quiet -some bars/cafes/hairdresser/convenience store still open. Extra bed in room no problem. Would certainly go back -its quiet but only about 8 mins by car from the airport near the national park area.

Great place to stay. had same room this year as last year, D101. Most of the resort has been renovated, but not our old room yet. This time next year will be gone. New part looks really nice, comfortable rooms, great pools etc. Italian restaurant at front did a good breakfast, included in room rate, and excellent meals for lunch and dinner. The beach across the road we think is one of the best. Will be back next year for sure.

Helt ok med tanke på priset. Nära flygplatsen, ok strand och några mysiga barer. Bra om man ska med ett tidigt flyg.

Mkt enkelt och effektivt.

Nice. Excellent if you are going in or out from Phuket Airport, as it is just 10 mins away (taxi about 200 B). Has a cosy beach too.

We are extremely happy with the resort and the beach. It s very family oriented. The room is cean. The pool is safe for the children. And the beach is beafutiful with nice shade for most of the day. Dining along the beach in the evenngs with nice cool breezes is one of my best memories. I had a wonderful time there. If I return to Thailand, I will definitely visit there again.

Good and reliable.

Due to late arrivel to Phuket we only wanted a room for one night near the airport. Clean but simple room in the backyard with fan. It was ok for the price of 1000 bath. The hotel had better rooms with ac aswell.

Very easy to use Sawadee.com. I can recommend them to my friends.

Very nice hotel, and suited the one night stop over before flying out. Rooms were almost new & very clean. Service & information was a bit slow, compared to other resorts.

Nai Yang Beach Resort, Nai Yang Beach
Very peaceful, friendly place. Facilities are basic, but very clean and everything works. Our room was in the tropical wing, which appears to be newly built, and more building has recently been completed. Breakfasts are a bit ordinary, but filling. The management must do something about the dogs and cats that roam the complex. They can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes, especially when a cat got into our room. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel for the mid-budget holiday maker.

Very efficient and prompt. No complaints at all. I would use it again.

Very desappointed. Hotel room dated from 195? was dirty every day, noisy with view on the parking and garbage stockage area; we ask for a different room ( we were paying around 75 usd. per night)so they showed us a room at +300 usd; the following day they told me the manager would make a deal at +250 usd a day ??? Their was no Thai smile and hospitality at this unhealthy resort . The greenery the pool were not look after so altogheter they deserved -1 on a scale of 1 to 10.

your booking is A-1

Pick up and check in were flawless. The room was sterile and uninviting though and you may end up pretty far from the beach. My advice? Book one night here and head down to the Sea View at the end of the road after you get there to book the rest of your stay. It s cheaper, nicer and closer to the beach.

Sawadee was great. Ms Kim even answered my panicked, day before emails reassuring me that everything was fine within a couple of hours. I would definitely use them again if I am lucky enough to get back to Thailand.

Nai Yang Beach Resort, Nai Yang Beach
This place was such a surprise! For our first night in Thailand we needed a place close to the airport (as we were meeting family the next day) so we were prepared to stay somewhere basic. But Nai Yang Beach Resort was an oasis. Our rooms were cool and comfy (although the beds were hard, but that seems to be the case in most places in Thailand!) and surrounded by frangipani and orchids! The new rooms/villas looked really nice - they were still being finished off while we were there. The pool was lovely for our early morning swim and Nai Yang Beach was beautiful for our walk. There was a bit of rubbish on the beach but it wasn t too bad. It s probably not somewhere you would want to stay for a week, as there are nicer beaches, and there was not much going on in the village apart from a few restaurants and bars, but it was perfect for a night or two. The hotel staff were lovely. They arranged airport transfer, as well as a minvan to Khao Lak the next day, all with a smile.

Easy, as always. Thanks.

Dont be put off by the re-consruction going on at present. Given what they have been through, it s understandable. The new tropical wing is lovely & the accommodation is spotless. (the other areas need a face lift). The staff are so nice & friendly, you very quickly relax. The beach is fabulous & safe. The bar huts & beach area is very shabby & run down. All it needs is a clean up. Off putting on your approach. Well worth mixing with the locals.

Simple without any problems

A budget room at a budget price close to airport but with the benefit of located next to beach. Hotel staff 10/10 - very pleasent and most efficient. Location 6/10 - It s very near the airport but far enough away to seem a remote location. There s not much to do though and the beach is in need of a clean up. I wouldn t stay anymore than one night here. Room - 4/10 O.K. it was cheap, it was clean and there was a very comfortable bed a well stocked mini bar and everything worked - what more do you want? Well the furniture had seen better days; the bathroom was run down (the shower itself was dated, only had one temp. setting but it worked...) and the cheap curtains never quite covered the window which meant people could look in. Breakfast - Excellent selection of good food, staff always on hand to help - overall very impressive given the price of the accommodation. Would I use this hotel again as a last night stayover? If I were travelling on my own on a budget, yes otherwise I d try elsewhere.

Fast, efficient, would definitely use again.

Close to the airport. Staff were nice and friendly. The garden is not green as it looks in the pictures. The hotel is poor but it was nice to drive only 5 minutes and to get to the airport.

We stayed in the recently opened tropical wing which is quite different to the old part of the resort. Much effort has been made to present a nice and welcoming garden as well as the pool area. (but why no cushions/matresses in the deck chairs?) Rooms are functional and definitly not over-furnished... Well-funcioning A/C and plenty of hot water. Staff very helpful and kind. This is not luxury but we will be back next year!

Great booking service

We chose to stay at the hotel as it is located conveniently close to the airport and so suitable for a late night arrival/overnight stay. As with most Thais, the staff were nice and friendly. We did not have any problem with checking in. The extra bed we asked for was ready in the room. We stayed in Thai-style room - generally ok. BUT, the shower was in a poor condition and water could not flow through. As a result, it got flooded and we did not showering with dirt/scum on our feet; from previous occupants as the water hole was choked with hair. Breakfast was fine/basic (considering that we paid 2500bt for a double and 450bt for extra bed/breakfast for the third person). There was no cooked breakfast. Generally, ok if one can overlook the poor bathroom condition. We have booked to stay at a nearby Airport hotel which we spotted on our way out of Naiyang Beach Hotel.

Efficient and easy to use.

Hotel is near to the airport, that s why we chose it! It has a long sandy beach and many small restaurants on the beach! We spend only the last day before our departure at this hotel. it was nice, we had a FAN-room for 1000 THB and it was very clean indeed! the staff was really friendly and spoke a surprisingly good english. I wouldn t stay at the beach for a very long time, and not for swimming (as the sea smelled like motor-oil). but that has nothing to do with the hotel which is nice!

as always very fast and very good!!!

As we were booked to leave Phuket on an early morning flight, we stayed overnight at this hotel which is about 5 minutes from the airport. The staff was very pleasant. Check-in was handled efficiently and we stayed in a Garden View room. The grounds were well kept. Our room was clean, and had everything we needed, including a fridge. The aircon worked well. The staff were very helpful in directing us to the local facilities. They also organised for a taxi to the airport, and a wake-up call by the security guard. There is some work going on at the beach access, but the beach itself is lovely and we swam in the clear blue sea until sunset.

Very efficient and pleasant to deal with.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our last night in Phuket before returning to Singapore as we wanted to be close to the airport for our 8:05 am Tiger Airways flight. The hotel is located very close to the beach and beach bars and cafes. From the hotel to the airport is a 5 - 10 minutes drive. The reception staff were friendly and made us feel welcome on our arrival. We had booked a Garden View room which was basic, but had all the essentials we needed. It was clean, the airconditioning was good, the beds comfortable, and there was a TV. There were chairs and a table outside, a nice place to sit and have a drink. The cottages looked very nice too. The hotel grounds were well kept, and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. The beach itself is lovely. Some work is being carried out to improve the footpath and beach access. The staff had arranged for a taxi to pick us up the next morning and it arrived promptly on time. The hotel restaurant looked clean and pleasant, however we left too early to have breakfast. We can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a reasonably priced hotel near the airport.

Very efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Nai Yang Beach is lovely and quiet (if you want to get away from the crowds of Patong Beach then its for you). There are a few stray dogs but they certainly aren t interested in anyone. The bungalow was clean and tidy. You get what you pay for I say.

Sawadee was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to anyone else. No problems with either of my 2 bookings through them. This is one happy camper!

We found the hotel ok. In front of the hotel towards the sea are quite many small shops and restaurants, giving it a nice atmosphere. We found the restaurant Rotcharing Seafood extraordinary good. The beach is fine close to the national park and the air field.

Good location after a long flight with children. Bungalow was big and clean. Felt that was very costly once I became aware of other charges for similar bungalows. Not at all sound proof, could hear everything from next bungalow but not so bad if it s just for one night. Staff were helpfull.

All booking went very smoothly and communication through email was very good. I booked taxi from airport and extra beds through the hotel and they were very good in supplying me with these.

Nai Yang Beach Resort, Nai Yang Beach
Near nice beach, although seems to have been hit hard by the tsunami, not much more than shacks for local restaurants, this may be part of it s charm. Strangely, the cheaper bungalows seem nicer (small though). I stayed in a Thai Executive 2400 baht in peak season, not anywhere near worth this money (I have stayed at many places around Thailand). First, it is a semi-detatched bungalow (this is not clear from photo) with adjoining door to other room, very flimsy, you will hear everything from next door. Quite lacking in any services for this price, not even a chain on the door, no phone, room service, chair, table, safe, not even a plug socket near the bathroom mirror, so you won t be shaving or drying your hair. Toilet blocked twice too. This hotel is worth the cheap prices in the low season, if you go in peak season, recommend a cheap guest house or a nice hotel. One attraction, the Baan Chabi massage centre next door is worth the trip to Nai Yang alone, spa quality for 300 baht.

Very nice, stayed there twice. Friendly and helpful staff. Proximity to the beach is a real advantage. Had several hours after checkout before we had to catch our flight back but this was not a problem as the hotel has a spacious toilet and shower to use in the reception area and even offers towels.

very good, no problem

Nai Yang Beach Resort, Nai Yang Beach
The hotel is good value for money, considering the price paid. The ladies at reception were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting me in booking an amazing Thai cooking course at Pum s in Patong! However, Nai Yang itself is over run by packs of wild dogs. If, like me, you are scared of dogs this is not the place for you. They somehow are able to spot tourists and followed me everywhere, to the point that I moved out of the hotel to Golddiggers resort, further back from the beach and free of dogs. It s a shame but I guess people have more concerns at the moment.

The booking service at Sawadee has always been excellent and it still is!
