Cheryl Russell 2009-06-02	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach Karon Sea Sands was good value for money and in a good location at Karon Beach. The room was clean and a good size and the outlook to the pool very pleasant. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and the egg cooking man, very popular with guests. The safe in the room was a convenient place to leave valuable items safely.	The booking service was excellent. We stayed for 8 nights, and only paid for 5, which was a great saving!
Hollie Feakes 2009-04-26	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach This hotel was fantastic. We had a pool access room which was spacious and clean and we could enter the pool directly from our balcony. The buffet breakfast was great with lots of variety, always something different every morning and the staff were very efficient. We found that this hotel was in a great location - across the road from the beach and the main shops and markets were just down the road. This was a much nicer area to stay than Patong, much less busy and a bit more relaxing. Still Patong is only a 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride away. I recommend not booking any tours through the hotel - we did and then found out that other people on our tours sometimes paid half the price by bargaining with tour shops on the street.	Booking service was excellent. Sawadee staff were always quick to reply to emails and we had no hassles with any of our transfers or bookings.
Beate Margrethe Huseby 2009-04-18	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach We stayed 3 nights at this hotel after having spent 11 days in Khao Lak. Nice hotel at a perfect location in Phuket, although we prefered Khao Lak. The rooms were nice, but we were troubled by the fact that the pool bar was located just outside our rooms. We had booked two pool access rooms, and would absolutely choose a different room category if we would return to the hotel.	Perfect! The reponse was quick and efficient.
Leanne Mckellar 2009-04-04	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach Found the hotel to be very clean and a great small hotel for the price. We had stayed at the Andaman Sea View as part of another trip and found the Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa more to our liking. Staff very friendly and helpful, enough variety for breakfast. Good location, with plenty of places to eat and shops to walk to. Would return to this resort again if we came back to Karon Beach.	Usual excellent service.
matthew Spurling 2009-01-14	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach Was a nice hotel. Stayed in Pool access room which was awesome. Barely ever had hot water for showers which was a nusiance because I had a cold at the time. A few ants but no big drama. Staff where quite friendly and helpful. I think I would have had a better time staying further away from Patong region though, The beaches of Kata, Karon and Patong are lined with beach chairs and umbrellas. Not the paradise we where hoping for. Not a relaxing area to stay for a long time.	Awesome
Ray McLaren 2008-10-11	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach Hotel was great with lovely pool or the beach right across the road. Karon is definitely a lot quieter than Patong which was nice for our relaxing holiday. We suggest that you budget in the taxi return fare to Patong. (it was 300 baht each way) We went in every second night. Only gripe we have is that we had booked a pool side room but I think they over book them as we were put in the family suite for the first two nights. No hardship as it was lovely. Would recommend Karon Sea Sands to anyone.	Sawadee booking service was excellent.
Tommy Karlsen 2008-09-24	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach All in all a very nice hotel, with some downsides. Food and drinks are a bit expensive, but then again very available. Our pool access room was excellent, but not at all shielded from noise from the neighbor. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Close to the beach, and to shops and restaurants. This is also a TUI hotel, meaning you probably will meet a few Scandinavians. I ll be back.	Very convenient. Booked in the evening before check-in day, and the room was ready on arrival 11 AM.
Sarita Pandit 2008-07-21 until 2008-07-27	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach excellent hotels. good large and clean rooms. We had two pool access rooms which were excellent. the indian food in the restaurant is very good. the minibar and restaurant rates are slightly on the higher side, but still good enough if you want to stay back and laze in the rooms on certain days. otherwise there are plenty of restaurants and a convenience store right outside. we would love to return to this place again.	very good and prompt. we had a slight misunderstanding over the bookings which were sorted out immediately as soon as it was pointed out to them. only disadvantage is the policy of full payment and no refund, which can be a loss to customers if they need to cancel the holiday due to some unavoidable emergency

Barbara Quinn 2008-06-01 until 2008-06-11	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach We had a pool access room which wasnt ready on the day of arrival (which was after 8pm, even though i had emailed them asking them to keep our room available since we re arriving so late). They gave us the family suite for the night which was pretty luxurious and we moved to our pool room early the next day. The whole 10 days here was great. Staff were great, breakfast was adequate, bit boring after 10 days. Location of hotel was great also. In future i wouldnt stay in Karon, but I couldnt find a pool access room in patong for the price so we ended up here. Overall very happy with the decision, but wouldnt stay in Karon again, if the hotel were in Patong, I d stay every time.	Excellent service. No problems whatsoever.

Next beach over from Patong which was a good retreat away from the hustle and bustle that is Patong. Very freindly staff, breakfast was very good. Room (pool access) was fantastic. Swam off the balcony. Over all a 10 out of 10 for this hotel. We will definitely stay again when next in Karon Beach.	No Problems what so ever. Good service.

We recommend this hotel if you are going to visit Karon. A tip is the Hapiness massage place just outside the hotel. We got the best ever foot treatment there.	Great as always.

The staff is very friendly and very nice. The location is great because it is just couple feet near the beach--clean clear water to swim. The oil message at this hotel is great too.	great reservation. will book with sawadee.com again.

The beach is just right across from the hotel and really good for swimming, nice clean clear water. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. One thing that we didn t like that the towel is kind of old and not that clean compared to American standard.	Great service.
Orla 2007-06-12 until 2007-07-02	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach I would definitely recommend Karon Sea Sands Resort. The rooms are spacious and very clean, as is the rest of the hotel. The spa was wonderful and the pool area is perfect. The service is of a very high standard and with the beach across the street and Kata and Patong beaches within a short tuk tuk ride, the location was ideal.

The rooms were very clean and nicely set out, the staff were very friendly and most helpful. There was agood variety of breakfast food. The pool and grounds are immaculate, and good location to all other activities. we had a good time.	Communication with Sawdee was good over the booking we wil use them again
J- MYEE 2007-04-26 until 2007-04-30	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach the hotel is out of our expectationly great! a 3 star hotel with 4 star set up, 5 star service! we love our room so much and specially the pool bar! oh! we spent time at the pool every evening!	booking with sawadee.com has made our trip less hazzard! it was really out of what we expect! the service and reply are prompt! and the staff in sawadee.com are very friendly and helpful! i had some changes along the way from my first day booking wif sawadee until i d reach Phuket, and they hav no complain at all but doing their best to meet our need! we will definately come back to sawadee.com for our future trip to thailand!

We had a room overlooking the pool area, and it was roomy and confy on the fourth floor, fresh! The bathroom was really fresh and had a kind o luxury style over it, nice! We really liked the poolarea with it s free formed pool with jacuzzi area and swiw-up bar, thanks, very confy. It was nice to stay around the pool, it s close to the restaurant who offers nice lunch, dinner and lighter meals in between. The pool area suits both elder, youngsters and couples with kids, it was a mix A-OK. I loved this place. We stayed for 4 nights, but I felt that I could have stayed for 4 weeks or even 4 months. But I must say, and this is important, as we explored the rest of karon beach, Karon Sea Sands is located on the best part of Karon, away from commerce(calm), and absolutely the best value for money. This hotel has 10 pool access rooms which is great. Food is good and pricey, personel friendly, cleaning personel doin a good job. In the area we have Karon, Kata and Patong beach and with no doubt I rate Karon as the best-WHY? Cleanest and less crouded! Thank you. If you like to try Swedish food, please go to Two Chefs at Kata-GREAT! We rated Karon Sea Sands as a **** star hotel, and if we returns to Phuket (we will) this hotel will be our first choice. Wonderful swimming pool. Very recommended.	Excellent as usual in all our reservations.

We stayed in the pool access room which was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was extensive and had something to suit all tastes. The spa was expensive but the massage was the best I ve ever had. Karon was much better than Patong as it wasn t as busy and was much more relaxing. I would definitely stay here again but next time I would stay for a shorter period of time as we did run out of things to do with a baby in tow.	Very easy and efficient.
Lisbeth Davis 2007-01-22 until 2007-01-25	Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa, Karon Beach The hotel was in a great location...close enough to Patong nightlife as well as the nightlife and restaurants between Kata and Karon, but quiet enough along the beach during the day (directly across the street from hotel.) We had requested a deluxe room but we were upgraded when we arrived to one of the rooms that had a walk-out into the pool. Our room was very clean and had a large bathroom and nice patio. Only bad thing...the hotel wanted 750 Baht for a shuttle to the airport so next time I would arrange other transportation (the ride from the airport to the hotel was only 650 Baht.)

The price is not the cheapest possible, but the rooms are clean and service is very good. Food in the restaurant is pretty ok. We were traveling with a small kid, and it was a perfect deal for him - a manageable pool area and next to beach.	Have used sawadee many times, and always got the best price available and no problems/good service.
