Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
Hotel was nice. Breakfast was good. Menu items a little expensive. Location a little removed, so do not book if you want to be in the heart of the action. If you want a peaceful, romantic getaway this is location for you! Staff excellent. Little beach very nice and private. Close to bigger beach at Nai Harn and this is a free shuttle back and forth at 10 and 4. 200Baht by taxi back to the hotel from Nai Harn is expensive. Excellent local restaurant a short walk. I would book again.

Fantastic as always!

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
A perfect start. We (2 adult, 2 teenagers) stayed for four days as a beginning of a fortnight at Phuket. A nice walk if you want to go to Nai Harn. Nice and friendly staff (and dog), maybe food a little too Western for our taste but quite good. Good snorkelling at the beach. Can definetely recommend

Easy and quick as usual

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
Great place to relax. A fantastic flora and animal life. A lot of delux bungalows in a very nice area, which is formated as a jungle. Nice and comfortable. Very good restaurant and nice snorkling. We were very good taken care of. A 10 minutes walk to the big beach with all the restaurants, can get pretty dark at night though. One minus: the massage is not so good and effective.

No problem

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
We stayed the first 3 nights of our stay in Phuket at this hotel. It s a nice hotel with efficient staff. Quiet and peaceful with its private beach. It s quite far to everything though, so if you re looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday this is the place. Otherwise, stay at a hotel nearer town. We arranged for airport pickup and can definitely recommend it because of it s location. The beach, though beautiful & scenic, is not quite suitable for swimming. It s full of rocks and the sand is quite coarse. There s a nice beach about 20 mins. walk away. Our bungalow was very nice with its own balcony overlooking the sea. The dog, owned by the manager & well-behaved, makes the place feels homely. Dinner at the restaurant is not as cheap as in town but convenient. The life music together with the surrounding makes it romantic.

Very easy and efficient.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
We stayed at this resort for 3 nights, keep in mind that because this hotel is pretty isolated, you would spend most of your time here. There is a nice beach a 20 minute walk, but it s a bit inconvenient to go there... We had a great time staying at the resort: swimming in the pool, snorkeling in the sea (there is a small private beach, although it is not well taken care of and rather rocky for tanning, it was not bad for snorkeling, we saw some amazing looking fish), we played billiards and had a massage. Since we were there during the low season, there were only 2 or 3 other couples besides us, we barely crossed each other s ways... at night, the service would set all the tables of the restaurant as if it were full season, which made it look beautiful. When we had dinner there, it was just the two of us in the restaurant with about 10 waiters ready to serve and a singer/musician creating the atmosphere. He wasn t very good, but it made us laugh and made the place seem all the more charming. We would definitely come back again!

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
The Baan Krating Resort is set in a very private position among lush jungle, overlooking the ocean. The resort is about 15 minutes walk from Nai Harn beach, offering the privacy and calm we were looking for but also the option to wander into town for meals or day trips to the beach. Our bungalow was spacious, clean and comfortable, albeit in need of a little attention (balcony had some exposed nails and shower drained slowly). We visited during the low season and had perfect weather for the first week of our stay followed by two rainy days. Staff were super-friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was a great place to dine, both in terms of atmosphere and the standard of food. The Thai dishes were particularly good, so we didn t eat a great deal of western, but the sandwiches and salads were fresh and tasty. I d highly recommend this resort for people who want peace and quiet, and who are visiting Phuket to unwind. As a side note, we ate every couple of nights at a restaurant called On the Rocks which you pass on your way into town from the resort. Not only did we eat fabulous, fresh meals, but the view was perfect.

We really love your place. It s just simply so natural and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to satisfy customers like us. Just one comment - needs to fix the heat control of the shower.

It s so easy to book. It s hassle free.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
A Jewel! Truly fantastic hotel. Spent a fortnight with my mother at this wonderful hotel. I´ve stayed at so many hotels around the world but this is by far one of the most memorable. Quiet, secluded and beautiful, beautiful place. A true gem on Phuket these days. I can really recommend this wonderful place if you are looking for a quiet place where you can relax, enjoy amazing snorkeling and eat good thai food. Wonderful staff, always helpful and kind. BG, the Hotel managers dog also made sure to make our stay as nice as possible. I really miss her, a extraordinary dog who slept on our veranda every night and kept us company during the days. I can´t wait to get back to this place again. I would recommend this hotel to everyone but disabled (because of the many stairs on the hotel area) and small children.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
Very good. Liked the jungle location with it s own private beach. Nai Harn Beach is also very nearby but it s probably a bit far for most to walk to (especially up the hill in the heat). This was no problem though as it was easy enough to hire a car, motorbike, taxi or book a tour from the hotel. The hotel food was very good in the evening, but the free breakfast wasn t kept warm enough for those who didn t wake up at the crack of dawn. Overall Baan Krating was very good, in a quiet & scenic location, with friendly & professional staff, comfortable & clean rooms, I would recommend it.

Excellent

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
A hotel is very beautiful. Likable bungalows. A hotel is indeed far from civilization, but it compensates his stylish and comfort. It was it is sorry us, that lived here only 3 days. Other hotel was farther reserved. Think today, that it is needed it was to remain there minimum on 7 days. The beach of hotel is very good, there are corals and fishes. Rest in a hotel will please those, who loves rest, quiet. Very good restaurant, prepare deliciously. Especially baking pleased us. Beautiful small forest. Certainly, it is needed to take a motor cycle, to ride on a Nai Harn beach or farther. By a word, recommend all, who wants rest, solitude and beautiful place.

Sawadee-service is very rapid and reliable. First time Sawadee used remained high pleased. A settlement passed without problems. Thank you!

If you are looking for a quiet life in the busy Phuket, Baan Krating is an excellent place to relax! The staff is amazing, friendly and caring. The hotel s restaurant is a bit expensive for Thailand. The rooms are very nice, newly renovated and spacious. We had a great time there and recommend people that are planning on staying there to rent scooters. Thank you for a lovely week :)

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
All I have to say about this place is WOW . We arrived at Baan Krating s Front Beach Villa and we were amazed by the beauty of the place. The villa has an amazing view, secluded and VERY romantic. The place has a private and quiet beach, which is great as well. You have to get there by some king of transportation, though, because it is really far away from everything. Nai Harn lovely beach is 10 minutes walking distance, though we didn t go there at all. To sum it up, amazing place, great crew, stuinning view, secluded and romantic. I will be there again when I ll visit Phuket next time.

Perfect and easy to use.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
Excellent hotel, better than I expected. The staff are very nice and helpful. Good service. It is quite near to sunset view point (around 10-20 mins drive). The location of the hotel is isolated, it provide a good private atmosphere. And better to rent a car, otherwise, a long walk to go outside. Private beach has lots of stone, maybe not good for swim. Food is good and not expensive. At night, there is a singer to sing some songs at restaurant, quite romantic. Overall - Very good. !

Good, easy and fast. I think better than asXXroom.cXm ,especially at high session booking.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
A little bit disapointed by the Baan Krating this year. The price has increased a lot (we already came last year) and new constructions made in concrete have been build in addition to the previous bungalows (Thai style and made of wood).

Excellent but the pictures of this hotel in the Web site should be updated with the new constructions

We had a really delightful deluxe pavillion room. Although it was just behind some seaview rooms we neverthelees still had a great seaview. The room itself is well designed and lets in a lot of natural light. I couldn t fault it in all honestly. It was a real delight just to sit outside on the balcony and admire the beautiful surroundings. The beech next to the resort is small and is more suited for snorkelling. The main sandy beech is only a 10 minute walk away. The walk is hilly so it is not suitable for a person with a walking disability. The hotels does provide transport, but it only goes once in the morning and once at night. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
When arrived I had doubts about this hotel but my stay proved to be an excellent one. A good kilometre away from Nai Harn beach but this wasn t a problem. Stayed in a deluxe pavilion which was spacious and comfortable. The beach at the site was small but as the only people who used it stayed at the hotel it was not a problem. At nighttime you could well be the only people on the beach. Beautiful location, quiet and relaxing. Will definately stay here again.

Never a problem. Fast and easy to use.

The resort was great, nice and peaceful. It was good price for this big bungalow. The location was perfect, not to far from restaurants, shoppings, beautifully beaches and the airport. the resort had a very nice own beach, so you could snorkeling and see a lot of nice fishes. To this place we like to visit in November next year, but this time we will stay longer. Our family recommend this to other families. The only thing was the prices at restaurant, little to expensive, but it was good food. The restaurant had a beutful vieu over the ocean.

No problem, perfect service, we booked at Internet from Koh Hai.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
Nice hotel in quiet location with a small quiet beach. Try to get one of the newly built rooms. The older Bungalows are more stylish but close to the restaurant and you can always hear the noise of the Aircon of the Restaurant. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. It is wise to hire a bike because it is a mile to any other eating or shopping places. But don t rent the bike at the hotel. They charge you 300 Bath a day for an old bike. I think you can get a newer one for 200 Bath a day at Ao Sane (10 min. to walk).

Easy booking

A great place - very peaceful. Stayed in 1 of the new rooms. Nice but I think I would stay in the older bungalows next time - more character. Staff were excellent and very honest - I dropped my wallet one night and it was handed to me by the night manager next morning. I will be going back in October.

Easy and especially helpful.

Lovely, peaceful hideaway(you need transport though).Very helpful reception staff, excellent food, beautiful setting, but recommend mosquito repellant for evenings outside(it is in rain forest like grounds)!Well worth paying to upgrade to new stone built rooms-spacious and comfortable. The old wood built rooms seemed smaller, darker and less welcoming.Would go back straight away if we had the chance!

Excellent service-no problems at all, very helpful. Will definately use again.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
It seemed like an adventure to the end of the world. :) Far from Phuket-city and the airport. A dangerous road up hill leads to the jungle-accommodation. The promised luxury bungalow with bay/sea-view was, and is, not available, which is a mistake by Sawadee.com. Our bungalow was 5 minutes walk from the small rocky beach. A lot of climbing to get in our bungalow. The personal is friendly and helpfull, the included breakfast is very good, the internet-facility is bad. The bungalow is of good quality, but hidden in the jungle The small rocky beach gives the possibility for snorkling and we saw more different fish than on Phi-Phi. Only the fake blue squib should not be there. Taxi you better take from Nai Harn Beach, that is at least 100 Baht cheaper than from the reception of Baan Krating. So overall nice accommodation, but quiet, far away from Phuket or Pattong. It means more extra costs for excursions and/or transportation from taxis to elsewhere on the island or back to the airport. Overall positive. Phuket is nice to go to. Next time my accommodation will be more central on the island.

Sawadee.com made us pay in-full the complete 4-days bill in advance. A downpayment alone was not sufficient. The promised accommodation is not offered by Baan-Krating, so NO luxury Sea/Bay-View bungalow. So never pay any extra charge for that. All bungalows are more or less on the hill in the jungle and can see only a tiny bit of sea,bay or beach.

Newly built Pavillion room (concrete)is great, spacious room and toilet. However, the old deluxe room (wood) is small and dark. Service is alittle lacking. Love the serene surrondings and beautiful beach - had a great time snorkeling. Advisable to rent your own vehicle. Will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel : quiet, beautiful garden, small private beach, good place for snorkeling. Swimming was good for me (I can swim in deep water but not for my wife at low tide because of the rocks). Anyways Nai Harn beach (large and sandy) is only at 15 mn by walk.

Excellent hotel in quiet location. Room was high quality and new. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. We ate our main meals at the nearby Ao Sane beach restaurant which was excellent. It is wise to hire a bike because it is a mile to any other eating or shopping places. Small quiet beach with its own coral reef and good variety of fish to watch while snorkeling.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
The Baan Krating Jungle Beach is quite beautiful and nice place in about 45 minutes (by car)from Phuket. Bungalow we used to stay in is very comfortable and good located. Staff is so helpful and friendly. We quite enjoyed the swimming with masks and flippers. The ocean floor is full of corals and different types of fish. The view around the hotel is also amazing that’s why we were happy to walk around. For those who wants just beautiful see with sandy floor and clear water would much enjoy the beach that is in about 30 minutes of walk from the hotel. Better to take the draw license with you then you can rent a motorcycle right at the hotel. The only one thing I was confused about it’s the cost of food at the hotel’s restaurant. It’s really good and tasty but for me it was a bit expensive. We really liked our time at this Hotel. And would stay there again the next year!

Everything was professionally and friendly. I would like to thank Ms. Grace for her kind help and support!

I enjoyed the stay at Baan Krating. Nice friendly staff, clean rooms and most of all, very secluded location. Ideal for a peaceful family holiday or retreat or honeymoon! I wonder how they keep the creepy crawlies away from rooms in a jungle setting. Your own transport is recommended as this is away from all other amenities. I extended my stay by one extra day as I liked the setting.

Our second stay at Baan Kraiting Jungle Beach. It s an amazing hideaway. YOu ll need to rent a bike from them to get around, but it s a lovely ride from civilization to their headland and private beach. The rooms are elegant and roomy. The service is friendly. The only thing I d recommend is a bit of termite control for some of the wobbly wood floors.

Wonderful boutique resort close to Nai Harn beach. Lovely rooms with no fear of insects getting in. Slightly loud AC. 10 min walk to Nai Harn, would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing quiet stay. Hotel beach is not that good, pool didnt look great but who needs it when you have a great beach only 10 mins away.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
The location of the hotel is fantastic...an oasis really on an already quiet and beautiful beach...one of the best beaches, by the way, in Phuket. The rooms are simple but tastefully furnished and everything worked as it should. A nice touch was the herbal soaps and shampoos in beautiful celadon containers in the outdoor style bathroom. The nearby hotel beach is a bit rocky but a lovely cove with superb massage service. The hotel food wasn t memorable but the wait staff were friendly and efficient. The front desk staff were also friendly and efficient. They organized transport and motorcycle rental at competitive prices and with good quality. In all, a gem of a place...rustic and charming, really. We d happily return.

Khun Pong was quick to reply to our enquiries...the payment system was simple. Only one problem was a no show on a booked airport pickup arranged by the booking service.

Baan Krating Jungle Beach, Nai Harn Beach
Nicely located hotel out of the busiest area of Phuket. Rooms very clean and tidy, all in all good. Some staff seemed a bit jaded and non-commited..? The Internet offered was far too expensive for a 56KB connection, also taxi to the place was a bit of a rip off as this is the very last resort on the island. The breakfast was of good varity, but unfortunately they failed to cover a lot of the fresh food which resulted in lots of flies. Not very nice. I wouldn t recommend anyone to go there unless you are renting a car.

A beautiful resort with excelent rooms and the best snorkling in Phuket. Service was first class and the restaurant serves very good food. The resort is somewhat remote, by Phuket standards, and it is adviseable to have your own transport as any taxi called by the resort will charge double. The resort don t accept AMEX cards.

Beautiful Setting. Small beach with excellent snorkelling. The bungalows had everything we needed and were very comfortable. More sun beds and parasoles are needed around the pool and on the beach. The restaurant was just about adequate and the service was friendly but slow. 200m along the beach is an excellent restaurant. The manager was totally useless and had a very bad attitude to guests. A very peaceful, relaxing place and somewhat unique in Phuket with its jungle location.

Excellent. Efficient and easy to use. Will definatley use you again.

Very unhappy place ! to far from the beach where you can find someone else than you. The beach of the hotel unhappy too; narrow, rocky and not maintained or equipped with anything. To small pool, to small bungalow. I m sorry not suggested for none type of vacation.

Really efficient
