Lars Hed 2008-11-11	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Mycket bra hotell. Vi reste med 2 tonårsbarn och bokade 2 rum som hade dörr emellan vilket var en fördel. Rum nr 301-302 som även hade havsutsikt. Ac på bägge rummen. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och hjälpsamma.	Mycket bra. Enkelt att boka och vi fick svar nästan omgående på våra frågor.
Doyle Hinton 2008-11-06	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Nice hotel in a quiet part of town, right across from the beach. Breakfast was good and good selection for lunch. Restraunts are plentiful and easily within walking distance. Definatly worth the price we paid, I would go back any time.	All was well organized and right on the mark, definate help in all aspects.
David Andrew / Thitaya Tarnpad 2008-10-28	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach This is a lovely hotel situated on the beachfront on Karon Beach away from the hectic nightlife on other beaches which can be easily visited by tuk-tuk or taxi.hotel buffet breakfast enoromous variety great and cleanliness fautless. Staff at hotel friendly and very polite. Room was clean and service superb. I recommend this hotel highly to everyone.	Quick,secure,and excellent with competitive prices. Will be using your services in the near future again.I highly recommend you to everyone and cannot praise you all enough for all the great work that you all do.
Carlos Vega 2008-10-21	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Great Hotel almost right on the beach. Next door to the expensive Hilton, so you are enjoying the same things as people staying there for a fraction of the price. The service at Baan Karonburi is the best so far. We have been to Koh Chang, Koh Samed, Krabi and now Phuket and Baan Karonburi has the best service of them all. If you need something, they will get it right away. Room is cleaned as soon as you ask. Breakfast was nice. The only downside is the prices at the restaurant are too high, but other less expensive restaurants are just next door. If you want a quiet few days laying on Karon Beach, which is the best beach we have seen so far, this is the place to stay. Chairs with the umbrellas at Karon beach are 200 baht for the whole day. Water is crystal clear. You can do diving, Jet Ski, and that parachute attached to the boat, so you can fly along the beach if you want. Huge shopping under roof next door,unlike Krabi which is all outside.	If you plan to come to Thailand, Sawadee.com is the place to reserve. We use them every single time we want to go on vacation and never had any problems at all.
Leonard Howard DeMoss 2008-09-20	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach I was not impressed with the place at all. To begin, I paid 2000 baht for the fishing trip and had been told it was fishing all day. We ended up only fishing for maybe 1 hr and without any pole, just a spool of line in the water. Plus, everyone else paid 1200 baht for the trip, so I felt ripped off by the hotel travel people whom I told. The rooms were very old, rather grungy and dirty. TV only had 1 movie channel, BBC, no CNN or other financial channels. Internet was slow and expensive (80 baht for 1/2 hr). Taxi service from the hotel was outrageous as it only cost me 180 baht from the airport to the hotel, but from hotel to Patong the taxi s were charging 400 baht..total ripoff. Given tourism is down significantly in Phuket, I expected that prices would be reasonable to say the least. I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it.	As always...Sawadee is the only online booking service I use in Thailand. Excellent service, and I ve booked hotels many times with them the past 5 years. Highly recommend this service.
Chris DeSanges 2008-09-19	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach My wife & I stopped here for 11 nights.Good hotel, friendly staff, good buffet breakfast, although the hot dishes could have been warmer & the bacon was cooked to a frazzle. However, there was plenty of choice.The hotel was a bit too far out from the main centre... a good 1000m.Outside the hotel & across the road there is a lovely uncrowded beach. 200 baht for 2 loungers and an umbrella. Some nice restaurants in the main centre. The 2 chefs & the Red Onion were excellent. The Little Mermaid quite good as well.Taxis were overpriced. However ther is a bus service ( every half hour )which costs 30 baht.Starts at Phuket Town, then Karon and terminates at Kata & vice Versa.All buses radiate out from Phuket town.

It is a small hotel, 48 rooms I think, the ocean view rooms are a good size and confortable, the staff are incredible, the pool is a good size however the pool bar could do with a make-over. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant overlooking the beach at ground level. Highly recommend this hotel but do book oceanview rooms.

Ocean view best in rooms 401,2 ,3 , 4/ 401-2 are connecting rooms. Out the door, cross a little street and on the beach. close to shopping market, three convenience stores very near. If arriving early am stop at 7/11 on way in for beverage and snacks before bed. Mini bar is pricey. Red Onion is a must eat place. Little Mermaid wide variety of cuisine but wait staff still as grumpy as ever; however, a glass of wine comes with mains and wide choice of international beers. One can forgive the surly waitresses after a coupla. Stay in garden view to save during high season. Pool under construction during week of April 12-19. Late sleepers may be disturbed by construction of new building behind the hotel, near the pool. There is actually only one pool not two. The kids pool is right with the other, but nice swim up bar. In room massages available.	sawadee.com is the very best in the business. They are professional, efficient, tolerant, kind, prompt.

The hotelroom was a bit old and not worth the price we payed, 3300 baht. Very central and close to everything in Karon. Some disturbance from building workers near the hotel.	Excellent
Rebecca Watson 2008-03-21 until 2008-03-26	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach This is a nice hotel with a good location. Beach right across street you can see it from the restaurant. The first night they overbooked so we had a room next door at the princess. Their rooms were a little newer, but we were in the last room in the 2nd bldg with a view of the construction going on behind the woraburi on the other side of Baan Karonburi. They made up for it though with a room upgrade and dinner. They also decorated with roses since we were on our honeymoon. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of Thai & western food (we like Thai!!) Within walking distance to Karon Circle and a small chain of restaurants in front of the Old Phuket if you head the other direction. Ging s is a great place to eat. Last thing, I recommend renting a scooter. The taxi/tuk tuk s are a rip off.	This is the 2nd hotel I booked with Sawadee for my trip and we had no problems.
Andrew and Gosia Boys 2008-03-03 until 2008-03-08	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baan Karonburi Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped, although the furniture is a little tired. The only other issue is lack of space at the hotel s pool (which in itself is very nice with a beautiful waterfall and greenery). We did however consider this a minor issue as literally across the road from the hotel is one of the cleanest and most beautiful baches we found in Thailand (Karon Beach). There are loungers and parasols available at the beach, however there is a 100 Baht charge per person to use these. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly although we found that few of them spoke good English (not sure about other languages). Not far from the hotel are many shops and restaurants. We would recommend the Red Onion restaurant, which serves great food but gets very busy from circa 7pm onwards and you might struggle to get a table. Ovarall we really liked this hotel and would definately come back to stay here again.	Great as always, no problems at all.

The staff are in general very hospital and friendly towards you, and they will do whatever is needed to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are nice and are cleaned properly each day. The location of the resort is perfect if you want to relax, and it s quite easy to go to either Patong or Kata by bus or taxi. We tried a lot of different beaches during our stay, but nothing can be compared to the beach at Karon - You need to try it to understand what makes it so peferct.	Smooth and easy - No problems occured during either reservation or payment.

Room was comfortable and the whole area is generally quiet. If you want bars and restaurants in numbers, a 10 minute walk left or right will find you plenty. This was our second visit to Karon-first time at Baan Karonburi and we ll definitely be back. Staff are all friendly and helpful.	Sawadee is great-we ve booked 6 hotels thru them without a hitch.

Ok internet service, but maybe a bit expensive. All in all good value for the money. There is nothing bad to say about this resort. We could definetely recommend it at any time.	We haven´t had any problems. It worked very well, and was easy to find out.

We booked here for one night only because our first choice was booked for that night. If doing it again we would stay here for the duration of our time in Karon Beach. Staff very helpful, most could speak and understand English. The beach is O.K. for swimming but no good snorkeling. The pool was beautiful.

A short walk to restaurants and shops. Staff were very helpful and all arrangements they helped with were on schedule. Internet wasn t working while we were there, and elevator service was intermittent, but otherwise no problems. Rooms were nice -- though bed was very hard!	Great service! Reservation process went well, and were accomodating when had to change dates and cut one day out.

Room good size with good finishings - Only downside is that the room has a musty smell to it (we seemed to find this smell throughout Thailand though). Good location - accross the road from beach. Karon Beach not as busy as Patong Beach - which is only 15minutes away by scooter. Recommend the hire of scooter on arrival at Appr. Baht250 per 24hr as we found this to be the best and cheapest means of travel between Patong & Karon Beach.	Everything went smooth on check in.

This was my third visit to Thailand with my partner, we had spent a couple of days in Phuket previously and had enjoyed the area, so we decided to return for 10 nights and then a further 9 nights in Samui with my parents. My biggest regret is not spending the whole 19 nights in Phuket at the Baan Karonburi Resort we all enjoyed it that much. The xmas eve and new years eve gala s were great, the food was excellant, something for everyone. I will return and wouldn t stay anywhere else.	The service was excellant and i shall use sawadee.com in the future.
wonderwoman 2007-09-08 until 2007-09-10	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach the hotel was great... only the swimming pool was still in renovation an we had to take a dip in the pool next door.. too bad .. i was hoping to swim in the hotel s pool... the room was large and clean.. got the deluxe room with the ocean view..the beach is just in front of hotel, so it s a few steps away .. staff were friendly and smiling always.. the breakfast was standard as any other hotel... for me it was fine... no comment.. would return again here..	wonderful..... would use again
Colin Wetmore 2007-08-18 until 2007-08-28	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Overall, this was a good hotel for the price we paid. Rooms were clean, large and well kept, although the towels were sometimes quite old and worn and our king size bed was actually two small beds pushed together - very uncomfortable! The location of the hotel is excellent, almost exactly in the center of Karon beach and easy walking distance to everywhere in Karon. Staff were friendly and attentive to problems. Some of the grounds were not well maintained, however, particularly the pool area. There were a lot of tiles falling off of the pool and some of the lounge chairs were breaking. Breakfast was disappointing. The buffet changed very little, almost exactly the same everyday, so more variety would have been nice. Most of the food was cold by 9:00. Bread and fruit were rarely fresh, we bought much better fruit from the street vendors and supermarkets. Overall, there are certainly some things that could be improved upon by the hotel, but the value for money is unmistakable and I would certainly consider staying there again.	I have used Sawadee several times now and have never had a problem.

Favourite one is ging , beautiful food and lovely friendly staff. Turn left from front of hotel, turn down street to old Phuket Hotel it is on the left hand side. Approx 5 min walk. Highly recommended. Hotel rooms are spacious, we had a deluxe seaview room on top floor. Very clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly, breakfast great. Would definately stay there again. Great value for money.	Second time we have used this site and would use again. No problems and very efficiently operated.

It is advisable to get the room on the 3d,4st floor (room number starting from 1 to 6 or 7) because of the nice view on Andaman sea. The 4st floor is better as the near standing hotel Karon Princes has built the second floor to its restaurant with the roof limiting partly the view. Room is ok, furniture is old a little but it is not critical at all. Breakfast is tasty with good choice of dishes including meat. Staff is friendly with fantastic attention to children. Pool with waterfall is also nice.	Perfect

Buffet breakfast pretty good, best thing is location of restaurant, looking right at beach and very clean, no flies etc. Staff are amazing, so friendly ands keen to help. Pool area very lovely though pool bottom losing a few tiles! Would definitely go back there. Can t wait in fact!	Very efficient and we got exactly what we asked for, the main points being 2 interconnectiong rooms [important when travelling with children] and ocean view. Will never use a travel agent again! This was infinitely more efficientand convenient.

S. Bean 2007-03-29 until 2007-04-12	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach The rooms are large and our view was very good (room 303-which I checked out the room locations when I booked with Sawadee). The breakfast was good and the people at the front desk and the ladies who cleaned the room very friendly. The only complaint I would have is the king size bed was very very hard, and we couldn t get any extra bath towels (they give you 1 bath and 1 hand towel each) The towels our first week were literally rags -other guests were complaining about them. Then finally they replaced with new larger thicker ones. Other than that It was a great central location on Karon Beach with a good beach view from our balcony, good quiet airconditioner, in room safe, and very clean! Our pool was great compared some other hotels, and we had no problem with getting loungers as it is not as busy this time of year. Had alot of thunder, lightning and some heavy rain at night, but we would go back to Thailand and stay at the Baan Karonburi again! Loved the beaches!	We would definitely use Sawadee again, as their reply to our requests were very quick and the hotel was forwarded all our requests just as we had asked.(we really wanted a king size bed and a beach view) I think customer service at Sawadee is better than most local travel agencies.

Spent 5 days alone in one of the top flor rooms which had a greit veiw over the sea.Cleaning of the roooms was exellent. The staf were very friendly, the service was splended, breakfast was very nice and the pool was nice and quite.Only 60 meters to the beach were you can lay all day or go for long walks (nice bars in each end of the beach were you can refresh yourselfwith a cold beer). I can recomend this place to everyone.	No problems and I my requests were fulfilled

David Bowen 2007-03-06 until 2007-03-09	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Selecting this hotel was a last minute switch the day prior to leaving for Thailand. Our other hotel was just not going to work out. We are so glad our plans worked out the way they did. Baan Karonburi Resort was a great place to end our vacation in Thailand. The hotel s location is perfect - across the street from a wonderful ocean beach and within easy walking distance to many delicious restaurants. Check-in was a surprise. We were guided to the open air seating area, provided cold drinks and our paperwork was brought to us. Our room was excellent. Lots of storage space and a huge bathroom. The bed a too firm for our taste, but that is a personal preference. We enjoyed a nice ocean view from our balcony. We actually spent more time at the pool than we did at the beach. It is a little oasis behind the hotel with the mountains in the background. The swim-up bar and jacuzzi seats were well used. The staff was so pleasant and always available to help. The included breakfast buffet was in the open air restaurant facing the ocean. It was a nice mix of Thai and non-Thai food including an omelet station. The hotel does offer fee-based internet access, but we found cheaper locations in the downtown area. We would definitely return if we are ever lucky enough to get back to Thailand.	This service couldn t have been easier. The e-mail confirmations were prompt and very complete. My only negative is that we booked a ride from the airport to the hotel through the site and they were very late showing up. Enough so that we were on a pay phone trying to find out what happened.

Our room was lovely, very big and very clean.It was on the top floor and had great views of the beach. The pool area was nice, but needed more chairs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again, and would certainly recomend it as great value for money.	Very good,very prompt. Will be using this comapany again. Thank you.

We did not like the Karon Beach area mainly because of the heavy traffic road between the hotels and the beach, and the fact that there were nothing on the beach except sun chairs and umbrellas (this seems to be common in most Phuket beaches). Baan Karonburi was quite OK even though they tried to rip us off when we requested to extend the stay with one more day (they tried to charge us almost twice the web rate) but after we said we would think about it, they reversed and accepted the same rate. Due to double booking, our reserved deluxe room was not available on the first day when we arrived and they offered us a superior room and compensated with meal coupons. We were too tired to make a fuss but in retrospect we should probably have insisted on a price reduction instead as we nevre used the coupons. Apart from that, we were satisfied with the room (nice seaview) and with the hotel facilities. Breakfast was mediocre.	Always effective and accurate.

The hotel room are very clean & the bath room is big ;D Furthermore, the hotel food is very good too, we even had 1 of our dinners in the hotel s restaurant. The hotel staff are friendly & helpful, just that you have to catch what they say sometimes. ;p In overall, We love the hotel & We re happy with our stay. :)	Very convenient! The staff Eddi was very helpful when I query on airport transfer & optional tour. I ve recommended my friend to use this website too :)
Fredrik Nykvist 2006-11-14 until 2006-11-25	Baan Karonburi Resort, Karon Beach Nice hotel whith very nice staff. Food in restaurant is very good. Big rooms an fine view from the balcony. Close to the beach wich is good. Thanks for a very lovely stay!	Brilliant as always! :)
