Slava Gladyshev 2007-03-12 until 2007-03-14	Family Inn, Patong Beach We stayed 2 nights and it was enough for us. Such a terrible place - not like on pictures from sawadee! Stuff was not so friendly like in other hotels we stayed before. Not so good location - about 10-15 minutes to patong beach. 5-7 minutes to bangla road. The only good thing was 7-11 in a few steps from hotel. I wouldt reccomend this hotel to others and will not stay in this hotel anymore.	As usual - amazing!

The rooms had a old smell to them. The traffice was really noisy aswell.	Booking service was great, however we booked a twin room and the first night we arrived the hotel placed us in a king size bed as a result of the hotel being fully booked - advised by reception.
Patricia Tomlinson 2007-01-26 until 2007-02-09	Family Inn, Patong Beach We ordered a pick up service but this did not turn up so had to get a taxi from airport. This hotel needs updating in decoration. We booked the deluxe room but was only of standard accomadation and smelled very damp and musty.It is right next to a very busy road so loud traffic noise is noticable all day & night. The staff i must say are really friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very good and prices are cheap.	smooth and professional, no problems with using this service again.
Family of 2+1 2006-12-29 until 2007-01-03	Family Inn, Patong Beach Very nice and cozy place with good location just outside of the packed city centre. The staff is very helpful and friendly, specially in the bar/restaurant. And they speak english, with some limitations. The room smelled funny at first, but smell went away in time. The manager tried to fool us with flight tickets arrangements. We were about to fly to Ko Samui and asked some help from the manager. He called somewhere and said all the flights to Samui were fully booked in following days. He offered A TAXI DRIVE instead!!! from Phuket to Ko Samui, a family with 1-year old boy. !!! What was he thinking? Money, of course, I guess. I didin´t believe him and called an agency by myself, and we got the tickets in ten minutes. It left bad feelings about the manager. In general, we were very pleased with the hotel. We came back there for two nights after 12 days in Samui. It is good place to families with little children, specially if you can have the 1st floor poolside room. They don´t have decent babybeds nor cots. That´s a big minus, though. Hopefully they get them in the future. Baby chair should also be in their list of immediate purchases. Hotels name is after all Family Inn. We would go there again, absolutely.	Worked just fine.
Stewart & Karnjanavadee Hopkins 2006-12-23 until 2007-01-09	Family Inn, Patong Beach Despite the fact that we had been booked here for months before our arrival they were not ready for us. We had booked a family room with an extra bed. The room we had was not large enough to accommodate the extra bed easily. We arrived with our children aged 8 and 1.5 years and were given a room on the 2nd floor so had to carry pushchair up and down stairs. We asked why we were not given a room on the Ground floor? The Air Conditioning leaked onto the extra bed for the duration of our stay (17 days) despite reporting this on day 1. There were also exposed live electrical wires where the TV and fridge were plugged in. They took 6 days to rectify thisdespite daily complaints. The staff were not at all helpful. If Phuket had not been so busy (other accommodation coulkd not be found easily) we would have moved to another hotel/guesthouse. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Very disappointing.	Booking service excellent, but it would appear you have no idea of the condition of the rooms /hotels you are offering/booking!
aliza 2006-12-17 until 2006-12-21	Family Inn, Patong Beach i don t know why this place call itself hotel , it is not more geusthouse . the manager is rude , the rooms are terrible with smell that we couldn t sleep and there was no hot water . we run a way from this hotel and looked for another one . i recomende not to go to this hotel	i tried to talk to sawadee service while i was at the hotel but i got no servuce from them . i paied for 4 night and i was there only 1 nitgh . i expect to get refund .
adam 2006-12-08 until 2006-12-11	Family Inn, Patong Beach we arrived at this hotel expecting good things. but for what we paid we did not get the service we expected. the rooms are cleanish but very basic. the staff are friendly and try their best. only a 10min walk to the main strip,beach and bus stop

The manager is also a very incorret person that only aim is to catch as more money as possible from westerner tourists. And no problem about good common general rules of behave!!!!!!!!! Sally Pope 2006-12-06 until 2006-12-09	Family Inn, Patong Beach We loved this hotel, mainly because it was so quiet, friendly and low-key, and in a great position out of the madness of Patong town. But still only 5 minutes from the beach and shops. The hotel restaurant serves lovely simple Thai meals, and cheap, so we ate there most of the time. The staff were friendly and moved us to a much better room after the first night when we complained about a smell in our room. We will definitely come back to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it to anyone.	Great - worked like a dream and will definitely keep using it. Very reliable and quick responses.
Angela Dagenais 2006-11-15 until 2006-11-19	Family Inn, Patong Beach unprofessional service, we ordered an airport pickup but it was not provided and we had to arrange our own transportation after calling the hotel and being told to just take a regular taxi The hotel room was poorly maintained, the walls were cracked and dirty and we had cockroaches and small lizards in our room. Our balcony was also dirty and overlooked a 7-11 convenience store and some low-hanging power lines. On our second morning at the hotel we awoke with numerous insect bites and also to find out that one of the legs of our bed had collapsed. After complaining to the unfriendly and unresponsive staff we were upgraded to a poolview room which unfortunately, was not much better than our original room	Although making our booking with sawadee was fairly efficient we were unable to contact them about the problems we had at this hotel because the number was not in service.
F.M. VanGellekom 2006-11-09 until 2006-11-18	Family Inn, Patong Beach A very nice hotel to stay. Friendly staff and very helpfull. The hotel is not far from the beach and other facilities. This made me stay for the third time in this hotel.	As always without any problems.
Richard T. Budge II 2006-10-25 until 2006-10-29	Family Inn, Patong Beach Family Inn is a small but comfortable hotel away from the crowds just beyond the southern end of Rat-U-Thit road. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk away from the beach. It has a small pool that only gets to about 5 feet deep, but it seemed great for our kids. It also has a small restaurant with good, very inexpensive food (most meals were about 100 baht, excluding drinks). It has an internet cafe (1 baht/minute) that we used often. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and several of them spoke very passable English. The rooms were clean, although the air conditioner in one room didn t cool very well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.	Although I was skeptical at first, reserving the hotel through Sawadee.com went very smoothly. I had no problems.

Michael Almeida 2006-09-22 until 2006-09-25	Family Inn, Patong Beach We stayed here for 3 nights on our travel south in Thailand,it was a very nice clean hotel,a short walk from the beach and close to the shopping areas, a nice pool and very friendly service. The restaurant coulb be i litle bit bigger, but in my oppinion everything was great. we stayed here at our travel back to Sweden for 3 nights more and our five kids loved it..	Works great!
Irene Soh 2006-08-11 until 2006-08-13	Family Inn, Patong Beach The hotel though small but the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! I will definitely recommend my friends to stay there. For ourselves, we will not visit Phuket again. We visit Bangkok frequently, in comparison we find Phuket very expensive. Shop owners are arrogant too! We were trying to buy a piece of art from a shop near to the inn - Manu Art or something like that. The artist did not even bother to discuss with us about the price. He probably think that Asians do not have the spending power! The tuk tuk rides are expensive too. Averagely each ride cost us 250 Bahts. As compared to Bangkok we had never paid more 100 Baht for a tuk tuk ride. Not even when we travel all the way from Chatujak to Patunam. Food is not as good compared to Bangkok. We had lunch at one of the famous restaurant. To be fair, may not be convenient to name them. Average charge per dish was 295 Bahts! And the food was nothing close to what it used to be (according to the person who brought us there). If those once famous restaurants want customers to keep coming back especially after Tsunami, they must maintaint their standards! There was also no sign of the famous SMILING faces. We fully understand the need to rebuid the post Tsunami resort, but with the rate they go in charging and treating tourists, its going to take a long time!	Booking service is very efficient, except that we booked a airport/hotel/airport transfer for 5 adults and one child. The transport that picked us from the airport was a small vehicle and the 45 minutes journey was very uncomfortable! But upon our complain, the transfer to the airport was switched to a minivan. This should have happened in the first place as we paid a premium for the airport/hotel transfer. The staff who deployed the transport should exercise some common sense.

Yulia Usova 2006-07-02 until 2006-07-09	Family Inn, Patong Beach We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, it was nice and clean, 5 mins walk from the beach and main entertainment road, no rooms with the nice views though. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyday we had fresh towels and bed linen, no bad smells or something like in other hotels. If the cleanliness and reliable staff is what you care about then it would be the right choice.	Fast and efficient, will book again through sawadee.com
Adam 2006-03-15 until 2006-03-17	Family Inn, Patong Beach It is a decent hotel with an average breakfast but is not very close to all of the action of patong if that is what your there for. You can get closer for just as much or even less.	Worked great.
Annika Lomsater 2006-02-12 until 2006-02-14	Family Inn, Patong Beach The hotell is a nice small familyhotell. The pool is not so big as at the picture but it´s nice and not to deep for children. One family had a room next to the pool and it was very nice. The other family had a bigger room but no wiew. This room did not smell good but we only stayed two nights so it was ok to sleep there. The staff was nice and breakfast served under the trees in the small garden. Very nice. It was about 5 minutes to the south of Pattong beach. It´s not in the middle of the beach. I don´t think that we will come back but it´s most beacause that we don´t want to stay in Pattong next time we visit Thailand.//Annika from Sweden	No problem at all. When we arrived we change one room beacause it´s smelld and we got a better one wihtout extra money.

F.M. VanGellekom 2004-11-11 until 2004-11-18	Family Inn, Patong Beach The hotel is situated about 5min. walk from the beach. The rooms are complete and clean with a good airconditioning. The swimmingpool is good with clean water and a nice area to rest or get a tan. Served food and drinks are good with enough variety to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpfull. They also offer the possibility to make excursions or daytrips.
