Örjan Ström 2009-06-17	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach This Hotel is quite large, but it gives a feeling of beeing quite small and cosy. The rooms are big enough and the quality of services are very good. Free Internet in the room is one. Breakfast buffe was excellent! Situated in the block behind the beach-strip. 5 minutes walk to the beach!	Quick and easy!
Kim McConkey 2009-06-12	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach This is a beautiful resort and very good value (we went during the off-peak season). We stayed in the second-cheapest room and it was lovely - very spacious and fantastic views over the amazing swimming pool. The swimming pool was the highlight. My kids (4 years and 18 months) spent 3 h continuous swimming there the first day! If you are travelling with young kids then I don t recommend the pool side rooms as they would be a nightmare trying to keep the kids out of the water.	Excellent.
Pete Murray 2009-05-24	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach Hotel was excellent. Stayed in the Deluxe Poolview - very nice room. Staff were very helpful. Family type place - suitable for couples as well who want it nice and quiet. Highly recommended.	No problem with booking service - all worked out.

David 2009-04-17	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach A lovely hotel, friendly staff, good room, 2 beautiful pools and children s pool and sand pit. Shuttle bus to beach. Food good but not really many vegetarian options. We didn t find the tour desk any good, very overpriced for boat to Phi Phi and when we asked for car hire with child seat she said too difficult in phuket but we phoned budget rent a car and got car with child seat delivered to hotel the next day.	Excellent
Malinina Elena 2009-04-17	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach We were there for two weeks with our five years old boy. The tropical garden inside the hotel is wonderful and exspecially the pool is for kids a Highlight. Service was really OK and our room was in good condition and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Although the prices for the rooms are really fair and OK. There was only one thing to remark which is not recommendable. We booked at the Songkran Festival a Dinnershow (warm and cold Bufet). It was chaotic cause of less organisation and too expensive.

Grant Wilson 2009-03-25	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach Kata Beach was the last couple of days of a three week Thai holiday. We booked Kata Palm because we knew we d want a couple of lazy, indulgent days around a pool. Kata Palm delivered. We booked a Pool Access room and were delighted with it. It Opened right onto the middle of the pool, the pool bar just a couple of strokes away. The room itself was quite large and nicely finished. The bathroom was similarly large, with a great shower and bath. The only complaint about the room would be the paper-thin walls. Late at night and early in the morning, it sounded like someone was constantly walking across the room above us. Not only that, but chairs being dragged left and right and all kinds of noise. We figured it was coming from everywhere on the floor above. It wasn t that big a deal, but at 5500BHT a night, you re entitled to certain expectations - a quiet sleep being one of them. The hotel was in a great location, being an easy 5 minute walk down to the restaurants and bars at the south end of the beach, and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach itself. A little tip though - if you want a beach bed, get in early. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was very well appointed. Two big pools, with small wading pools for the kids as well. They also have a luxurious spa centre for all your pampering needs. If ever we go back to Kata, we ll certainly stay there again.	Excellent as always.

The superior rooms are in the old building and the deluxe rooms in the new building. To the beach you must walk 5-10 Minutes. The hotel have for the hotel guest 30 beach chairs... Dr Jason Brown 2009-02-23	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach My girlfriend and I (both 30yr olds) stayed in a pool access room for 9 nights in Feb 09. Reasonable size room. A/C good but bit noisy. The Thai characteristics were very nice, although the room was a bit dark due to lots of dark wood. Facilities were nice and clean. Very good shower. Patio leading into the gorgeous pool and tropical garden area was the highlight! Breakfast buffet good. Staff very pleasant. Only short walk to kata beach (5-10mins), and restaurents, shops etc. Easy for taxi/tuk tuks.	Very good. Only critisism is, as a couple, when you re spending this sort of money, to not be guaranteed a double bed but rather just be told one is requested is not really good enough.. We did get one on arrival so very happy but I think something should be done about this issue.
B/L Jijian 2009-02-22	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach This hotel and all it has to offer is truly fantastic. We had a wonderful room (#140) with a balcony that led right into the pool. The restaurant food was great and the hotel staff who helped guests on where to go and what to see were great. The beach, shopping and restaurants are all close by and it s in a location where the noise from traffic is not evident. The only minor problem was some of the front desk people could be a bit more courteous. I would highly recommend Kata Palm Resort & Spa.	We booked through Sawadee and everything turned out great. They were very timely in answering our requirements and very quick to answer any questions we had through the Internet.

Elin Pettersson 2008-09-27	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach very beautiful, looked like the pictures. Room was gorgeous (deluxe pool acess). Staff very friendly and helpfull. Western breakfast was not varied and not so many choices(ex same three types of bread, two juices and two types of toppings always) plus there was a lot of fruit flies as well. Only got entirerly clean bedsheets once, otherwise always smudges and stains. Got back dirty pool towel with dried green goo on it. Had a cockroach in the bathroom. The internetaces in the reception area is WiFi or two stationary computers where you get 20 min. Laundry service inexpensive but got my tshirt very much shrinked. Got a manicure at the SPA and was bleeding when they were done. very close to the beach, good food at hotel restaurants.	had some misscommunication regarding deluxe pool acess and pool acess villa but otherwise very well and very handy to just show a piece of paper to the receptionist and thats it.

Judy Wolthers 2008-09-12	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach The The KATA PALM RESORT and spa at kata BEACH was a dream come true holiday, I was amazed by the HONEST willingness to make our stay as perfect as we could be, the Thai people could teach us a thing or 2 about service in some areas of Australia, I have travelled AND LIVED widely around Australia and I have not found many places who SERVE you as the Thai s do. I AM GOING BACK FOR Christmas there, I loved it so much I want to move there ! ! Im working on that one ! ! regards Judy	booking service was wonderfully helpful, I had a lot of trouble with my credit card not being accepted and the staff couldnt have done more for me, Ms Kim and staff at bangcock were great.
Hiere 2008-08-14	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach excellent hotel, staff very friendly, very good location closed to a very beautiful beach, a lot of restaurants and shops around the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. The swimming pool and the pool pars are very fun.	very good,no problems encountered.
Marianne Dronnesund 2008-07-30 until 2008-08-13	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach Wery lovely staff, polite and helpful. The rooms were large, clean and nice (about 60m2 all rooms together.) The bathroom okey. The pools clean and nice. We do recommend this hotel. We had room 232, 233 and 236 at the new part of the hotel. We were 4 adults and 3 children (3, 12 and 14 years old) We all were satisfied. But the black cat at the hotel were a problem. He was eating from the buffet table, and was in the breakfast room all the time. We told the staff to remove it - because of allergy and hygiene - but they did not take a hint. But that is the only complaints we have. It was a lovely hotel. Some renovations was going on - but that was okay.	Great! Quick response. No problems at all.

The pool area is the best i had in any hotel in thailand and the price on the low season is great. the breakfast could have more to offer, but we dit not really mind as the overall of the hotell os soo good. Nice staff and perfect located on Kata. I would recomend this hotel to anyone and i will come back!	Went without any problems. Sawdee.com has always worked great for me

Great Customer Relations - I celebrated my birthday while at the hotel. The hotel gave me a complimentary cake. It was a suprise to us all.	We will use sawadee.com again when we visit Thailand.

Nice and helpful staff, beutiful pool-area, good location not too far from Kata beach. We stayed in a deluxe poolview room, and really recommend it! A great, spaciuos room which was clean and tidy. An extra plus for the bathroom with booth shower and bathtub.	Just fine!

Stepping out occasionally for meals and massage. The resort is fully booked but the pool does not feel crowded at all. Resort is clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is not as bad as what others described. On days when there are many Koreans, the resort catered their breakfast to suit Asian taste. On days where there are many Europeans, they had more western food. It s definitely a value-for-money resort.	Booking was a breeze. Sawadee.com was fast in responding to queries. Thanks Sawadee.com.

Two pools, a good atmosphere especially if traveling with young children, and the rooms are great. The Deluxe rooms are set up with an extra couch/bed negating the need to pay for an extra bed. Nearby Kata beach has nice sand and water, however there is a lot of debris in there from time to time (Tsunami leftovers?).	Everything went well as usual.

Our room was a Pool Access Room and was well serviced every day. The pool was wonderful and clean and we believe the ambient temperature was 5-10 degrees cooler than outside. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!	Very efficient & hassle free.

I stayed in a pool access room which is highly recommended. The breakfast was limited but good. There is no view of the beach from the hotel and is about a 15 minute walk away but there are several places close to the hotel to rent motorbikes to get to the beach and to tour the island. The king size bed is actually two double beds pushed together. I would have no problems staying at the Kata Palm again in the future.	Fast and easy booking through Sawadee as usual

Breakfast was just OK not great! location not far away from the beach and there are no ocean view rooms. Construction is going on next to the hotel. Overall, great value for money in Kata Beach.

The hotel is old and needs some serious renovations, dirty bedsheets. Deluxe room with pool access is nice but so many mosquitoes we were unable to open the patio doors. Good location in Kata, 5 min walk from beach. Great for families. Kata beach is gorgeous. Would recommend staying in Kata but if you are looking for 4 star service this is not the place for you. Would qualify more like a 3 star, not worth the price.	Excellent

Originally booked the superior room but had to upgrade to a pool access room due to the size. We had an infant and definately needed the extra space that either the dulux or pool access room has. After our inital dissapointment in trying to get an upgrade, we had a marvellous stay and met some fantastic people. Here is a tip, definatly do your shopping at the Pucket town weekend market, best prices and all the locals shop there!!! We would definately stay here again.	No Problems

We were a little disappointed about a few things, bag pick up forgotten, twin beds pushed together instead of a double. Minor issues but overall an excellent hotel. We were not keen on the area, if you are looking for cheap fake shopping, European restaurants and lots of topless French and German disrespectful tourists Phuket maybe for you! The beach was beautiful, can t say the clientèle were.	Brilliant.... brilliant... brilliant

Palvelu pelas hyvin ja aamupala oli ok. Jos haluaa pool access huoneen niin kannattaa ottaa se alueen pääty rakennuksesta. Deluxe huoneet sijaitsee paremman altaan luona. Allasalue yks parhaimpia mitä nähny vaikka onkin aika matala.	Toimii hyvin.
C Konahos 2008-04-03 until 2008-04-14	Kata Palm Resort & Spa, Kata Beach I really did my homework and spent some time reading others reviews before i booked. What an awesome hotel, we stayed in the pool view room and the room was big and very traditional with an amazing stone bath and strong shower with two shower heads. The service was great and staff go out of their way to help. I will return to this hotel but next time will book a pool access room, they are awesome and a must, worth money. Just to be critical and beeing a very active couple who train hard and maintain good physiques i was dissapointed with the fitness centre (one set of dumbells and some old equipment wont do it guys...) other than that you will not get the same for same money anywhere else. Kata is great because its short drive from the mayhem of Patong but still has the fun side to it. I will without a doubt return to Phuket its a wonderful place and the resort is more than sufficient. Thankyou for a wonderful stay Kap-koon-kap and many happy returns.	Wow, great efficient and spot on. No problems will use again and again.

Mosquitoes are a problem due to lush greenery so pack repellant! Food was expensive and a bit ordinary. There is construction going on very close but we were not disturbed by noise, this of course may change depending on project timeline. Definitely a family hotel. We stayed in a deluxe pool access room which was fantastic for us. We would definitely stay again.	efficient

But I were in Thailand 7 yers ago when I was 21 yers old. Big diffrents can I say. So much more touristic. But we loved it anyway. But the prices has increaced a lot in the most comerciall places.	No probelm at all!

The A/C worked well. The staff is very helpful and friendly and always smiling. It is only a short walk to the beach and there are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. we are coming back, that is for sure.	very good.. no problems at all.. very flexible...

Rooms were well sized and the bathroom was new and clean. Breakfast could have been better and the way to the beach is a bit long. The shops and restaurants are nearby. Great place for families because the pool is max 3.8 ft deep. Friendly staff. Absolutely recommendable.

I went with my 2 children (1 5yearold and 1 baby) and with my sister and her baby. We booked a pool access room which was just perfect with my 5-year old who ended up swimming from 10 am until 7 pm every day. Our two babies were just sleeping on the terrace or in the room, or we had them bathing in the shadow, which was also great. The best about the resort is they kept it nice and cool, even though the temp was around 32-35 degrees, we were not bothered about it. Very nice staff, always happy and playing with the children. Clean and nice resort with great location for restaurants at night. Good breakfast. Worth the extra money for the pool access room. But make sure you get one of the following rooms 102-109. further away it gets very quiet, also a bit smelly further down the poolside. I strongly recommend this resort, especially if you are a family with children!	Simple and easy booking, also - the rate per room per night is much lower through sawadee than directly at the hotel.

Barnen 3 o 5 år(och vi vuxna), fullkomligt älskade poolområdet som var spännade planerat och rent fint vatten man kunde ligga timtals i utan att få russinhänder som på andra ställen. Rummen var rena, stora o fina (de luxe) fast sängarna som vanligt stenhårda. Billig minibar. Barnen gjorde blombad på rummet varje dag av de nedfallna frangipaniblommorna runt poolerna. Frukosten var jättebra, fanns mycket att välja på och personal som gjorde omelett eller ägg efter önskemål. Tuk tuk till Karon Beach tog 10-15 min för 150 baht, fin o lång strand där, inte mycket folk. Kata beach lite mindre o inte lika rent vatten. Swim-in-poolbar, vilken bra idé!! Vi åker gärna dit igen! Tips, boka tidigt!	Har varit lika bra varje gång! Känns säkert!

Only the size of the TV in de room too small. Best location in Kata. Close to everything; markets and restaurant and only 2 minutes away to the beach. The restaurant is also good with reasonable prices and nice and friendly staff.	Excellent! Check in without problem.

All the employees are friendly and most helpful. I enjoyed the decor, which is in the Thai style. Breakfast was plentiful and changed somewhat every day. My only minus point would be the pool setup, which to me was a bit akward. Unless one has a pool access room, the available pool area is the children pool near the coffee shop. Consequently, most people crowded around that area, which made it quite busy.	As always, no problems !

Just walk out your door and swim to the bar or restaurant, and then back to lounge on your own comfortable chairs. Rooms ate stunning, with all amenitites. The breakfast buffet is extensive - everything from made to order omelets to asian specialties. This hotel was the only place I encountered that provides free internet service. A short walk to the town beach. I would stay there again.	Execellent - fast, easy, accurate.

TWO THINGS FOR BETTER SERVICE 1) BETTER CLEANING SERVICE AND 2) BIGGER BREAKFAST BUFFET (TO MANY THAI FOODS)	VERY NICE, EASY AND VERY GOOD COOPERATION FROM MISS KIM. TRUST IT MAYBE THE BEST FOR THAILAND.
