Ezio Antonioli 2009-05-04	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach The hotel is old adn dying a slow detah. Rooms are extremely basic with no attention to decoration. Low class. There is a Green net cutting off all sea view from hotel and on the beach side just in front of the swimming pool all morning there is a huge pile of garbage giving a pleasant smell. Kamala beach is extremely dirty forget swimming you will even think before even just talking a walk. And the best part the hotel charged us 100 THB for the laundry bag that they say was missing maybe worth 10 THB ( by the way we were there 3 days only thank god so we didn t even need look for the laundry bag ). They must be really desperate to make some profit. Do yourself a favor stay somewhere else.	Quick . Efficient as usual.
Sahar 2009-04-14	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach hotel is very simple but great value for money. rooms: simple but clean. some smell of dampness. location: kamala beach is a quiet beach 15 minutes drive from Phatong (main Pukhet beach) facilities: 2 big swimming pools and kids pool. very comfortable.7/11 5 minutes walk. resturant: good food, reasonable prices. italian and thai good food. beach: beutiful. juse across the resort. no need to cross roads to get to beach. overall: execellent for childern. ran all day from beach/pool/resturant. we will come again	as always, very trustable. good deals (we paid less than most guest...)
Lena Regeheim 2009-04-11	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach A quite ok resort though it s situated on the beach, but the whole place, including staff :-), could need some renovation. Most of the staff is pretty tired and not as nice as the ones you meet elsewhere.	Always perfect!

Breakfast was fine with many things to pick from. Very fresh. The poolarea needs a renovation, a lot of kracked and missing plates in the pool. The beach was full of dirth. Looks like no one cares about it. We did´t go into the water.	Booking quick and easy. Will use the booking again.

Deluxe Seaview room with 3 real beds.not just one xbed put in for the 3 of us. Nice and tidy cleaned every day. Pool areas quite alright, but mind the cracked plates IN the pools! Easy to get scared wounds on feet and toes... Would not hesitate to go back. In total: excellent experience! Can recommend this hotel to most people. BUT - they have no elevator. If trouble with stairs, ask for ground floor!!	Excellent way of handling the payment!

Room spacious with own private balcony. Large selection for breakfast and a bonus of tea and coffee provided in the room. Excellent service.	Ease of booking.
Denis Aksenov 2008-04-26 until 2008-05-02	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach Rooms: we stayed in so called bungalow , but actually it was a room in 4 rooms building (2 storey). Each room have it s own aircon system with very noisy external part of split. Water supply is terrible, taking shower you should constantly try to hold the temperature and do not use tap or wc to avoid hot water shock. Where are a lot of ants in room. Room looks old and slightly...should be renewed! Room was pretty big. An balcony (for 2 room) locks like a terrace. Room cleaning is ok (nothing more). Breakfast: stable from day to day, only one dish changes (but every day is chicken). staff is too lazy. Internet: Too slow. Nave no access to https sites. Beach: Hotel have no own beach. You should stay on the hotel greens (20 meters from sea) of pay 150 baht for 2 chairs ant umbrella on the beach. Pools: Do not forget to take goggles. They add too many cleaning reagents. Staff: Lazy Summary: we enjoyed staying on Phuket	Good. But you should visit hotel before say about it.

Kamala beach är väldigt lugnt och strandförsäljarna helt underbara. Ca tio minuter till livliga Patong. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell till andra. Vi kommer absolut att återvända fler gånger.	Bokade via nätet, allting fungerade perfekt.

The hotel is right on the beach so it s easy to get to the beach if you want to with no roads to cross. Very safe for children. The two pools are spacious and clean. Breakfast is plentiful with great choice. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again without hesitation. Kamala is beautiful and not spoilt. A wonderful resort in a wonderful place.	The booking service has been excellent and stress free. From booking to paying deposits, to handing in our etickets at the hotel we have had a trouble free, excellent service. I would definately use Sawadee.com again for my bookings.

Asked them to take it away as it made me sick to my stomach but nothing happened. Stayed with my husband and 2 small children in a room with 1 double bed and 1 extra. Very happy with that. How ever my brother had to take a room by himself. Expensive!! The beach is GREAT. Loved the beach and it is just out side the hotel. We travelled around Thailand so we lived in a couple of hotels, and this is one one the best. A bit expensive in the restaurant but you can eat dinner by the beach dirt cheap anyways. Fab pool area!!Recommend this hotel.	Not so happy with the late answering. Hade problems with room pax. We ended up paying for 2 rooms. Not very good.

The hotel is good and clean, staff nice and friendly, breakfast is big and very good, and the swimming pool is very very nice. Upon my arrival the hotel upgrade my room to a bungalow which was great with amazing view on the beach. They even sent to my bungalow fruits and flowers for my birthday. I enjoyed my stay there and definitely when I go back to Phuket I will stay there again. Big thanks to the hotel staff.	Very quick and easy. No problems at all.

Molly Nestor 2007-10-23 until 2007-10-29	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed at! The deluxe side sea view rooms are disgusting. Our room had an ant infestation (which covered my son s toothbrush), and smelled so badly. The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful with resolving any problems (actually told me I could go buy my son a new toothbrush at the gift shop if I wanted). They also broke our bag when bringing it to our room, mixed up our room service meal, and wanted to charge me an extra $50 a night to upgrade to a different room despite all of these disasters. In the end, it was Sawadee who came to the rescue by moving our room and only charging us their upgrade price (about half of what the hotel charges), even though I thought we should have received some compensation for our troubles. Once we moved to the bungalows, our experience was better (no ants, and less smell), but the hotel still is not fantastic. The pools are not heated, and apparently when it rains in Phuket, it s rather cold. The foot massage was nice, and the breakfast was decent, which a fair amount of variety. It cost about $10 each way to get to Patong, which is where anything is to do. I would definitely not stay here again, and stay somewhere closer to Patong if I were to go back.	As I said, Sawadee did resolve our problems and arrange for us to move rooms. Their website was easy to use and informative. They did forget to pass on that we wanted transportation from the airport, which ended up working in our favor because we got a taxi for half the price.

The hotel was the best looking from the outside compared to other hotels. Two pools,immaculate at all times, clean, tidy, staff so curteous, bedrooms equivalent to 4 star hotel, beautiful buffet brekfast, chef will cook any request, gardens lush, green, beach clean tidy. We will definitely be going back to Kamala Beach Hotel. o	Quick, speedy replies, procedure explained fully, easy to understand.
Don Mandy 2007-10-07 until 2007-10-30	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach Staff were very kind and helpful. I initially booked a single room, ground floor and when I checked in, I was brought to a 2nd floor room w/ (2) single beds. I wanted a single bed and was rerouted to the ground floor. I didn t like the room, so I chose a single bed on the 3rd floor and had to pay more :-( I often heard screaming kids running down the hallways and making unecessary noise (as it travels far). The power went out on 2 occassions - one for about an hour at 9pm. My A/C went out at 3 am one time but it was fixed within 30 minutes. It went out another time and was fixed quickly. It sits right on the beach practically, which is nice. The daily included breakfast was good, pools were nice and all in all, I d recommend it if you don t want to be in noisy Patong.	No issues.

The room, pools, in house massage and facilities were excellent for the price. Food was of a very good standard with the buffet breakfast comparable with more expensive resorts. For those people wanting a resort holiday slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Patong this hotel offers very good value for money.	Good - no problems

Harry de Kok 2007-04-25 until 2007-05-02	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach We booked 2 beachfront bungalows and were really happy that we had spent a bit more great view overlooking the beach and not far from the pool. Breakfast buffet was very nice but staff serving coffee and tea were slow and indifferent. We had supper the first night prices okay but service really slow. Tried again later in our stay and after 20 minutes of waiting for our drinks order to be taken we got up and left and went to eat at one of the little places down the beach. This was in low season don t know what the service will be like in peak season. Pools on the small side but as it was low season not a problem. In general a nice place to stay away from the patong rush, room large and comfy will go back but not use the restuarant.	Great service will use again.

We upgraded to the bungalows which were wonderful! Closer to the beach, great views.The staff were exceptional, although they were only capable of very basic English, and for my family and I it really was the holiday of a lifetime!! We are going back as soon as possible!	Everyone told me about the dangers of Internet booking - I had no problems at all! Smooth sailing all the way! We had to postpone our holiday due to a fire in our home and the agency offerred to hold everything over, and were geneuinely concerned for us! Thank God we held the booking over, it was splendid! And no problems paying by credit card, a totally safe website payment method!! I can only sing their praises!
Mr. Rod Bird & Desiree Bird 2007-04-14 until 2007-04-17	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach We stayed for 3 nights at the Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort and enjoyed our stay very much, the hotel had a very nice pool with swim up bar and the rooms were very reasonably priced and always clean. The one comment i have is that a shuttle bus was run once a night to Patong & back and the charge was 100 baht each, i feel thaty this could have been free for guests as with other hotels. It is a typical 3 star hotel with decent rooms, beds slightly hard. Service good, location with pools and close to the beach is perfect. Excellent family hotel.	Excellent. The following day we were informed we could stay in the bungalow for the duration. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, considering it was a very busy hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The hotel facilities were excellent and we wouldn t hesitate to return. Thanks to the staff of Kamala Beach.	Faultless as usual.
Melissa Henman 2007-01-20 until 2007-01-26	Kamala Beach Hotel & Resort, Kamala Beach We arrived at this hotel very tired and were greeted by extremely friendly staff who offered drinks and since we arrived during breakfast - free breakfast. The location is beautiful - right on the beach - there is not much on the surrounding backstreets, a few restaurants, however most things you need are right on the beach. From what i saw the hotel was very clean. As much as we wanted to stay at this hotel they advised they were full up and asked if we would mind transferring to there sister hotel - a 4 star resort at Bangtao Beach resort. Bangtao Beach Resort at first didn t come across as clean as Kamala Beach, however we did get upgraded to a beachfront room about 10 steps from the beach. The room was a bit noisy from motorbike alley next door, and kitchen behind it. Breakfast at both hotels is fantastic, full american buffet with asian food and fruits as well. The location on Bangtao was great. Everything for a beach holiday you could want. Calm clear ocean, many restaurants along the beach and massages for 300-400 baht. Ahhhh	Very quick and easy. NO problems at all.

So glad that we paid extra for the absolute beach front view (side views would be a struggle). Excellent staff, lighted beach walkway is near completion, and is a great post-tsunami feature in the town. Only about 6 restaurants open, so was VERY quiet.	smooth and efficient
