Nicola Digrazia 2009-05-17	Royal Phuket City Hotel, Phuket Town Bad experience. Room no clean. Cattiva esperienza, la stanza aveva la moquette ed era sporca. E poi c era una puzza di ammuffito forse per i filtri sporchi dell aria condizionata, non só. Poi bagno vecchio...inutilizzabile.	Servizio perfetto, mi hanno trovato subito un altro hotel in mezz ora. D ora in poi sempre sawadee.com perché l assistenza é tutto in certi casi.
Foot Lin @ Hew Foot Lin 2009-04-05	Royal Phuket City Hotel, Phuket Town We stayed in this city centre hotel for one night 4th April 09. Convenient for our need to move aroung the city area. Breakfast s good and you get good view of city from the 19th floor. Service s good. Room is clean.
Grant Wilson 2009-03-05	Royal Phuket City Hotel, Phuket Town our situation with this hotel seemed to be similar to many others - arriving late into phuket and travelling to phi phi the next day. how much of an opinion can you form in just one night? for what it s worth, we thought this hotel was excellent value. our room was clean, despite being a little worn here and there. but for 2300BHT (or whatever the lowest rate was) there can be absolutely no complaints. as others have mentioned, breakfast was served on the top floor with great views over and around phuket town. breakfast itself was the full buffet with dishes to cover all tastes and cultures. with a midday check-out, if your situation is the same as ours, then this is the ideal hotel for you. even if we d have stayed for a few days, this hotel would have done the job nicely. very happy.	all our experiences through sawadee.com have been first rate - easy booking and no problems at all at the other end. it s a great service and one i will always be happy to use.

EDDY VOGEL 2008-08-12 until 2008-08-19	Royal Phuket City Hotel, Phuket Town nice hotel, very spacious room, nice bathroom though the toilet is asia standard (too small) people helpfull. Allthough making an extended stay for one night not doable through counter, you have to go back to booking office to do so, believe it booking office has to check then with hotel. Food was good and on top floor, so nice view while eating. Little irritating was personel there, they are hanging about and sometimes it looks like a playground for kids. Also a bit anoying if you want to take someone with you in your room, they point you to rulement and the person has to give an ID card and you have to pay extra 700 bath. So avoid that. Well wouldnt mind going back there, very central located.	sawasdee never let me down and a great booking office with cheap prices.

The rooms are ordinary and ok, the view from the top floor restaurant is magnificent! The pool looked nice but was extremly dirty. The only thing we didn t like was the cockroaches in our room and in the bathroom.	Smooth - fast and correct.

The staff is really helpful and polite, the rooms are very good and you are not bothered by trafic or any other noice. It is next to the bus station wich is good if you are going or coming from an other province. The food is excellent (the cafeteria has homemade icecream that is just super). We ordered a shuttle to the airport in 06.30 in the morning and it was in time and the driver helpt us with our luggage. This is the forth time we spen at Royal Phucket and not the last. (Went to Metropole a cople of nights, byt the traffic and the noice from the nearby disco keeps you awake).	The booking service has worked perfect, we have used it a couple of times and it has never gone wrong. Just one time when the requested hotell was fully booked (and that is not the agencys fault). Very satisfied.

The room was not new but it was comfortable and the hotel is centrally located, only about 200 metres away from the bus station , so it should be easy to travel by bus from the airport. Breakfast was quite reasonable and we enjoyed our two-night stay in the hotel. There is a nice coffee shop on the ground floor.	Very satisfactory.

Dirty windows, dirty carpet, old furniture, no very special seaview. The internet service in the lobby was very bad and the staff doesnt speak proper english. It is 30 minutes with the tuktuk to patpong beach. We couldnt find any decent restaurant anywhere nearby the hotel for lunch. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed there 1 night, we would not book again.	easy and quick, thanks sawadee.com

The room was a good size with a big desk, big windows and great views, but the walls were peeling a bit in around the windows and in general the room looked worn. The service was friendly and efficient, except that our airport shuttle was 20 minutes late due to traffic jam . The location of the hotel was good. We walked to everywhere we wanted to go in Phuket Town. We would stay there again for the price we paid (1750 B).	Works great!

Seafood at Phuket Bay was a great cheat they force me for 500 Bath tips on top of the bill with 10% charge. Failing to give tips the waiter/waitress will throw a sour face. Taxi drivers at Central festival Shopping Centre are overcharging from 1000 Bath from Central F to Patong. We had done alot of shopping and we were told to claim VAT 7% at the airport by the shop keepers. When at Phuket Airport the VAT counter said that we need to fill up the Yellow form above 5000B. The form is to be fill be the VAT approved shops . The shops did not do their part for the tourist VAT claims . We spend almost 70,000 Bath in pHUKET. IT IS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR TOURIST.	Booking was good & efficient.

We regret wasting our holiday time here and we should have gone straight to to Patong. The reason we did not was because we had already paid in full. The only good comment about this place is the breakfast bouffet which was pretty good. Would not go back again.	Seemed to have some trouble with the booking at this place but since we booked nearly all our accommodation through Sawadee.com I think this was more a reflection of the hotel than Sawadee.

Booking went thru smoothly and had no problem in geting the room on arrival.sawadee is hassle free.
