Pauline Chan Lai Hong 2009-06-09	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach I do not have a good impression of the hotel. I booked 2xsuperior room in the royal wing, which supposed to cost more and bigger in area, due to the noisy music (Boys Club Pub) just opposite the street, i requested to change to paradise wing on the next day. The receptionist attitude wasnt good, i dont mind paying additional cost just to have an enjoyable trip for my family, requested to view the room first to decide either to take superior or deluxe room. Finally we settle in at the deluxe room, front desk girl who handle this upgrading never wear a smile as if i have caused a lots of troubles for her, which i think as a service industry, smiling face is very important. My daughter left her soft toy in the royal wing, and we asked the hotel for assistance. The room wasnt occupy in that night, and they open the door for us, its was neat and tidy on surface, but they never clean the room thoroughly, my daughter soft toy was found inside one of the bed. On surface they looks good, but housekeeping never actually do a detail clean up i feel.The coconut coffee cafe has limited variety on its daily breakfast, and i saw a small cockroach crawing at the porrige counter. In one of the day of my staying, we woke up late, the house keeping will keep knocking at the door request to come in to do her housekeeping, i was having shower, with my tower on to open the door and explain to the chambermaid to come back 10min later. Another day, there was no housekeeping to both of our room, in the afternoon where we returned from coral island dirty and tired, called up for housekeeping, the chambermaid said she ring the bell and no one answer so did not come in to do housekeeping. And we have to empty the room for half an hour for her to do the work despite we are all tired and dirty. Overall my husband and i think in our next return back to phuket we will try out other hotel rather than Royal Paradise.	Booking was fast in response, except during my booking i requested for royal superior, but the confirmation was in paradise superior. I wrote back to clarify, and the response for the correction was efficient. Payment was simple.

Scally Ann Maria 2009-04-24	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach Could not fault Royal Paradise Hotel. Great location, staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was good and pool area luvly. We had upgraded to a Super Superior room purely because I am quite fussy with bathrooms and we could not fault either the room or the bathroom. The room had wooden floors not carpet which was great and the bathroom was spotlessly clean with piping hot water every single time. The room was cleaned daily and the views were amazing over the hills, the pool area and sea view too. Once again, we could not fault the hotel at all and we would give it 5 out of 5 for value, location, cleanliness and friendly staff.	Very good and always helpful
Mette Arnold 2009-04-24	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach Nice hotel. Pool is excellent and looks very classy. Friendly staff - sometimes seems just a little bit fed up with stupid falangs, but we agreed that hangovers from Songkran might have been an issue, at that time. All in all, absolutely recommendable!
Chan Tak Wai 2009-04-18	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach Great location, easy to go shopping mall or walking street. the hotel is tall and be a landmark on patong beach. My room is on 5/f but has little sea view. the room is big enough and hotel breakfast is full of choices. Only complaint is the bathroom look old and dark, only supply soap but not liquid bath foam.	good
Marlene Nilsson 2009-04-17	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach We stayed in the tower, the rooms very big but needs renovation. Very good location, close to the nightlife and the beach. The staff very friendly. The breakfast not good, no bacon just eggs and rice-dishes. The poolarea was perfect! Would definitly stay here again if visiting Patong. The shuttlebus-man needs to take a lesson in friendlyness, very rude grumpy man but the shuttleservice to the beach was a big plus! Overall a very pleasant stay!	Very good!!!

Chua Weng Hong 2009-04-11	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach We stayed 3 nites at Royal Paradise. The room is nice and clean. Bath room is also nice & big with bath-tub and shower. The staff is friendly and also upgrade our room to the Royal Wing but the noise from the pubs downstair is very loud with throbbing music even though we are on the 6th floor. The air con is not cold enough even we put it at 18C. Apart from that, we find the hotel very pleasant and staff helpful and friendly.

Javier Infante Mera 2009-04-05	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach we were in the hotel for 2 nights 3 days, the first day we arrive earlier than the normal time for checking but the hotel allow us to go to the rooms at 10 am instead at 12pm, the last day they allow us to have late check out and they allow to use the hotel services incluided the SPA room to shower and change clothes before our departure. IT is a very good hotel, very efficiency and friendly service. I would recommend it without any doubt. It overcome our expectations.	fast and good service.

I stayed in the Royal Wing and had a view of the pool and hill behind, but all rooms have a view. Only downfall is the music being played until 2am from gay bars close by. Decent pool - about 20m long. Has spa and kids pool as well. Very clean rooms.	Well run. Thanks.
eyal katz 2009-03-24	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach This was our first time to stay at the ROYAL PLAZA HOTEL in Phuket- and we will come again for sure! the service was more than exellent, the staff were very very friendly and even remmember our room number evry time we came over. the hotel is the best hotel for gays and for other who want to be ant the center of patong beach! the rooms are very clean, well equipped and have a very lovely design. the pool, gim both of the saunas were great. at breakfirst you could find what ever you want to have- large scale of food good for all. there are no things to say but- IT IS THE BEST HOTEL in patong beach. everything was so good that we didnt want to go back! we recommend this lovely heaven on earth to you all!!!	very good service!!! easy, fast ans safe!

The tower room was very basic, breakfast is great though..also the staff are very friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.	Great service from website! Very efficient and quick response to emails.

Staff were very friendly & willing to show me around hotel facilities. Looked at Paradise Wing Good views although does not compare to Royal Wing. Make sure you book a day tour to Phi Phi Island Absolute Magic & unforgetable experience. Same as the Movie The Beach With Leonardo De c. Thanks Royal Paradise for a Holiday I enjoyed : )	Booking was professional & allowed me to upgrade to Royal Wing with Minimal fuss at extra $13 . Thanks for your help
BRETT WESTBROOK 2008-12-18	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach Hi there, I have to say that the deluxe rooms at the Royal Paradise were exceptional. We had a room that was on the 3rd floor and we looked straight out at the mountains and down to the pool.No other rooms could look directly into ours and the balconys are nice and private.A friend of mine stayed in a Superior room in the main building and the rooms seemed a bit second rate and run down. One issue is that there is a Gay Bar scene directly behind the deluxe room building and they seem to yell and scream all night up to about 2am letting off fireworks etc.They don t seem to care about the guests in the neighbouring hotel.Since we were out late most nights it didn t really affect us, but if you were with your family the noise would be quite disturbing I d imagine. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to Soi Bangla and from there another 5 min walk to Patong Beach.On the main road that runs near the hotel, there are also some small good quality Thai restaurants at reasonable prices as opposed to what you pay down near the beach. There is also a walking street nearby that has many Thai massage places that are well priced and laundy shops. I would probably stay somewhere closer to the beach next time but since we had a motorbike it wasn t too bad. I d give the experience 3.5 Stars.	The Sawadee booking service is top notch and the best on the internet. They have a quick response time and try their best to appease your requests and changes. I will use them again for sure.I just wish they would have some deals through like Stay 4, Pay 3 which is very common if you book from your home country from a travel brochure via a travel agency.Sometimes the better deals can be found that way, especially in the low season.
John Albright 2008-11-14	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach The hotel is nice but does show some age. but everything in the hotel work well, internet was 500b per 24 hours, that cost was to high and was very slow for that price.Service was great, location is great with a big mall ( 5 min. walk)to the left of the hotel when u come out of the front lobby. there are alot of gay bars in front of the hotel but found it funny but not a problem, but i would not recomend the hotel for kids. Lots of cheap and good food places just out side of the hotel. the pool at the hotel was great, pool seen. i would stay in the tower that is older better place to stay. all in all my 6 night stay there was very good and i would stay there again.	perfect no problems at all and very fast.

Nice rooms (Deluxe, Royal Wing), but not enough shelves and hangers if you stay for 10 days! Shower was only a trickle but maintenance fix it till the evening. Only one of the front desk ladies could speech and understand English (was some time a hassle when I/we was asking for something). Breakfast buffet was small and limited at this time (maybe of low season, but as guest I don’t care, variety wasn’t great this time!) but quality was good. After all again a nice and enjoyable stay, maybe we stay again next year during Songkran there	Good and quick as all time I booked there, no complains at all!

Definetaly YES!	everything went smoothyly. but do not book transfer with hotel. sawadee.com chargem me 1200 Baht for one way transfer! as you could hire a cab for 500-600 baht or take airport bus for only 150 baht per person!

Corinna Yap 2008-06-12 until 2008-06-18	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach being a 4 star hotel, i must say that the rooms are exceptionally clean. the location of the hotel is only 10 mins from the beach, in the midst of all the shopping ( there is a new shopping centre further down the road) eateries. entertainment and massages. staying here was really value for money. definately recommended.	this is the 2nd time we are booking our vacation through sawadee.com and are still very pleased with their service.

Cliff Sunn & Anne Marie Brooks 2008-05-21 until 2008-06-18	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach This hotel is great!!We stayed in the Paradise wing which has fabulous views over Patong city.Only criticsms are,yellow bathroom tiles which we lived with anyway and the breakfast and dinner buffets were nothing special.Smelly air conditioner when switched on.Our maid(Jittra)was so nice,funny and friendly as were the reception staff.I would stay there again.Location was central to everything in Patong.We were also upgraded to the new Royal wing for one night,but we preferred Paradise wing for the views.	Fabulous..!!..great communication..and will use them again..

The breakfast was ok,Only ate the buffet dinner once...that s enough..!!..I will return to the royal paradise if we can score the same deal...Totally enjoyable experience..!!	I will use sawasdee.com again for sure....

Everybody loved this hotel as it is very nice & convenient. The rooms are clean and hugh. Everything is just within walking distance. We definite recommend this hotel and will be back again. Ivan Ong Eng Lai 2008-04-23 until 2008-04-26	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach it was great hotel the mang.of the front office upgrade us to deluxe room which i booked superoir room.good location for shopping and near to the beach.Only seafood buffet dinner which fall on wednesday and saturday night is totally not worth for 400 bath per-person without free drinks.felt been conned by the hotel.after all worth to stay.

Everything seems perfect during my stayed but only concern was staying too low (2nd floor) and can hear the loud music from the opposite bay. Request to be away from the street side but still the room are facing the bar and pub. But hey, nothing is perfect in our life ya! Overall, a worthy hotel. Cheers. rajesh sharma 2008-04-09 until 2008-04-14	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach HAD A NICE STAY AT ROYAL PARADISE HOTEL LAST WEEK.IT WAS A NICE HOTEL WITH GOOD ROOM.SWIMMING POOL WAS ALSO GOOD SO WAS THE BREAKFAST.THE ONLY NEGITIVE THING ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS THAT IT WAS A BIT FAR FROM THE BEACH ( THOUGH THERE WAS A TUK TUK FROM HOTEL WHICH PLIED EVERY HOUR BUT IT WAS NOT CONVINIENT ) THE OTHER NEGITIVE POINT WAS ABOUT THE GYM . ONE OTHER MAJOR POINT IS THAT THE 3 LIFTS IN THE TOWER WING IS OUT OF MAINTAINANCE.THE MAINTAINANCE FOR THE LIFT WAS DUE IN DECEMBER 07.ITS AN ISO 9002 HOTEL - THEY SHOULD TAKE CARE ABOUT THESE THINGS	VERY GOOD , TIMELY & NICE PERSONS

Clint David Kyle 2008-03-25 until 2008-03-27	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach Very nice hotel with great views, a fantastic swimming pool, about ten minutes walking to the beach through a very lively part of town. HOWEVER, I left my key in my room one day to keep the power turned on and had the do-not-disturb light on, and that evening when the maid opened the door for me, my key was gone and in it s place keeping the power on was a plain white card. The hotel swore that no one had entered my room all day, but could never explain how that white card (which only hotel staff can have) magically appeared in my room, and I had to pay 2000 baht for the missing key. I m sure most people have a good stay here, but I was so angry I ll never go back.	Very easy, will use again.
Morgan Jay Emmett 2008-02-11 until 2008-02-14	Royal Paradise Hotel, Patong Beach Wonderful!!! I loved the Royal. Situated about 5 mins (through the Boy massage district) to Patong beach. The pool is huge with many different levels and the swim up bar with its chirpy staff are a great surprise at the end of a hot day shopping! Our room was beautiful in the new Royal Wing . Fantastic beds and even better views over the whole district. We had a little trouble on the first night as they gave my husband and me a twin room but we were gladly exchanged the next day without issue. The first hotel we stayed at on our 3 week journey. Was so good we tried to book in for the last night of our stay. But apparently the quality is not a secret as it was booked out. Oh well, next time!
