The Ekman Garden Resort is a family driven small hotel, where the guest will find calm, beauty and a friendly atmosphere.
The garden is one of the most beautiful ones in the whole region, with lovely flowers, ponds, fish, butterflies and birds, and a softly shaped 15 m pool in front of the restaurant part. There is a little river and a manmade lake within the garden where the guest can catch a nice fish for dinner. The guest can choose to eat either European or Thai style, or both.
Our 4 different room types vary in size but all are equipped with the necessary facilities.

About the hotel:
Being the third time at Ekman Garden Resort, it was a pleasure to see that most things was as before. It was the same beach with a Crusoe feeling of being alone at this loooong beach. It was so nice to lie under the sunroof and listen to the sea without being disturbed by anyone. And the visit to the Wat and the meeting with the monk Tangit was also so smooth and relaxing. Although there was some rain because of the rain season, I found it so nice so I decided to stay a week more than planned. Annas cooking is always so gratifying so it is hard not to stay more than planned. Especially when the weather is the same everywhere else. Although it seems unnecessary to visit a place that has more water a visit to one of the beautiful waterfalls in the neighborhood is always a good idea and especially when there is rain as it becomes more wild than usual. Finally I must say that it is absolutely not the last visit to this part of the country and certainly not to Ekman Garden Resort. Hans Morling Stockholm

About the hotel:
This time returning after one year to Ekman Garden Resort, it was a pleasure to be greeted as an old friend by the hosts Anna and Staffan. As I had had a very hectic time at home, I really appreciated the peace and quite that they offer. The garden is exceptional and beautiful and Anna really work hard to make it a Garden Resort. It is not a place to expect a lively nightlife or a entertainment bar but going to bed early with a good book is a privilege. The staff is very friendly and becoming and the rooms are very clean and well looked after. The food is very, very good but the breakfast that is included in the price is not meant for grown up person. Not even for me who is small. But this will not stop me from coming back in the future. About the hotel:
Words can not describe what a wonderful place Ekman Garden is. We were made to feel like family from the first moment we got there. Anna & Staffan are warm and kind people who make your stay there quite memorable. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Every day we came back to our room and there were fresh tropical flowers arranged on the bed in an arful display. The food was outstanding and Anna makes it herself! The staff there are all incredible and attend to every detail. Most of all, it was the BEST environment for us to be in with our new little girl. We adopted from Nakhon Si Thammarat and Anna was a HUGE help to us! She knows the staff and where the orphanage was and what to do and to bring. She was able to take us to the Tesco where we could buy the supplies the orphanage needed, and she translated for us so I could get my every question answered. We are immeasurably grateful we met Anna and her wonderful family! Their charming and beautifully done hotel and gardens were such a perfect setting, too! I can not say enough about the serene gardens and hospitality of the place. A must-stay for us on every future trip to Thailand!

I come to this Hotel for the second time already this year. It is such a wonderful place, if you look for peace and relaxing and great food. The garden is one of the most beautiful I ve ever seen. Rooms are very clean and lovely decorated. After one day I felt like being a part of the family. What more can I say... being here is just a little bit like heaven on earth .

It was our first trip in Thailand, and it was amazing ! At the airport, the resort shuffle was waiting for us. The room was clean and quiet. The garden was beautiful, and we can take some fruits on trees. Anna make a very good food. She is a very friendly person, as all the staff. During our next Thai trip, we will go back to Ekman Garden.

I book two night at last, I stay six nights, this is the resort I need for relaxing, very nice people Staffan and Nittaya thank you for your hospitality,you make me like brothers & sisters, Hostess Nittaya serves delicious meals every night for us.My wife and I would highly reccommend Ekman Gardens as great value for money with Five Star Service. Thank you Nittaya and Staffan for a wonderful holiday.Hope will see them when they visit HongKong. Love from Lo & Po.

What a fantastic find! We were welcomed like long lost family & treated as such as long as our stay. Wonderful rooms, very large & in the garden just like described. Food was the best we had in Thailand during our months stay & what can we say about our hosts? Stefan & Anna were just wonderful, so friendly & attentive, would love to come back just to see them, couldn t rate it higher.

About the hotel:
We enjoyed our stay at the Ekmans a very familiar hotel. It is small and lovely with lots of flowers. Stephan and Anna support you in any case finding all you need. You should go by car or Anna will rent you one. By the way, Anna is a perfect cook. The sandy beach is close and empty, bad for snorkling. So perfect to be alone. In the area you can see waterfalls, delphins and local people - less touristic. The hotel is also very good for families.

We don´t know were to begin praising this resort!! We were made feel at home from the moment we arrived! The hosts Anna and Staffan has managed to make this in to a beatiful and tranquil resort! Anna makes dinner herself and she is a great cook!!! and the drinks she makes!! To be honest we have never had such nice drinks anywhere else. The rooms are very,very nice well equiped and VERY clean!! The garden is beatiful and Anna takes great pride in it. They are now building a reception area specially with weddings in mind. It is going to absolutly beatiful. If you are looking for stay, full of peace and harmony, this is without a doubt the place to go!! Our best regards to Anna and Staffan with family!!

It is situated at the mainland to the west of Koh Samui in southwest of Thailand. Nearest cities are Sichon, Nakorn si Thammarat and Suratthani. Distance to the sea: 1, 2 km.

The garden is one of the most beautiful ones in the whole region, with lovely flowers, ponds, fish, butterflies and birds, and a softly shaped 15 m pool in front of the restaurant part. There is a little river and a manmade lake within the garden where the guest can catch a nice fish for dinner. The guest can choose to eat either European or Thai style, or both.

From Nakorn si Thammarat town it is 66 km to the resort following the 4 -lane road 401 to the north towards Surathani. Distance from Nakorn si Thammarat Airport is 48 km and from Surathani Airport 110 km.''

For Self driving coming from the north:
It takes about thirty minutes by car from Donsak to our resort. When you pass the PTT gasstation just before Sichon you put the trip meter on 10 km and go strait on on the four lane road .Then you see our sign on left side just before Tonriang village.
