Rawi Warin Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach I stayed here from 4 - 10 January 2009 with my husband and two small children ages 2 and 4 years. We loved this place - just paradise. Good for kids with a creche, babysitting service and kids pool. Breakfast was good, room was great - we had a pool view cottage on lower level and couldn t fault it. The service was wonderful and the beach was beautiful with easy access to beach restaurants and a great beach massage venue. The prices in the hotel can be expensive due to taxes and service charges, but hey you re on holiday! The staff were lovely and acommodating and the manager was on hand to receive comments. Definitely recommend this resort 100%. Koh Lanta is also a wonderful Island. |
Efficient as always. |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Fantastic Hotel, everything about the hotel was great. There were local restaurants within walking distance if you didnt want to dine inhouse that were delightful. This was necessary for us as there was only one restaurant open as it was at the end of the season. Outside the resort there was always a tuk-tuk to take you to anywhere on the island, the prices for them were much cheaper then other holiday areas in Thailand, so it doesnt matter that you are out of the main part of town. The pools in the resort were great, our children loved the cinema and kids club. The pontoon was dismantled as the surf was getting a bit rough but with the pools being so beautiful, it didnt matter at all, it is still possible to swim in the ocean just walk up the beach a little. We will definiitely go back to Koh Lanta and I cant think of anything that would stop us in staying at the Rawi Warin again. |
Everything to do with the booking service of Sawasdee.com was fantastic, we didnt have any problems at all and would highly recommend them to anyone and we will definitely use them on our next trip to Thailand. |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach The Langham is a very beautiful resort with extensive manicured grounds and several fabulous pools. It is a very large resort however and this can make you lose touch with where you are. Food and drink was much more expensive than any of the other resorts we had stayed at during our time in Thailand but it was easy enough to eat elsewhere. For such a large resort it did lack a number of services that I would have expected to be complementary such as a courtesy bus or free internet. The breakfasts however were fantastic and overall for the price we paid (aprox 130 AUD) it was exceptional value. If you plan to spoil yourself in opulent surrounds with plenty of R&R then this is the place for you but if you want to get a true feel for what Koh Lanta has to offer then I would probably recommend somewhere a little closer to Ban Sala Dan. |
Excellent - All very smooth sailing and would definitely use again!! |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach The room of this resort @ Kho Lanta, Krabi is reasonably price. We stayed there for 5 nights and still enjoyed it s breakfast. Our special request for non-pork food was met. A bit of warning though on the hotel dinner buffer -- it was highly overpriced & they even charged you extra for a glass of water!!! The hotel beach is rocky, so you can t swim in the sea, but the swimming pool is quite nice. All in all it s worthwhile being there, considering the long 3 hours trip from Krabi airport to the hotel. |
Excellent! |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach A STUNNING RESORT. Very well kept anda comfortable llagoon facing room. Staff very freindly and helpfull. The resturant did not live up to the same standard as the resort, limited menu. Please leave yourself plenty of time if you are Flying out of Krabie as there are two car Ferries that you have to get across to get to Krabie and these are very slow with a build up of traffic at peak times, and at low tide we got stuck. Koh Lanta needs a road bridge to make acess easier, however still a wonderful place and a great resort!!!!! |
Great service. |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations; great place to relax; excellent service; adjacent bakery serves great lunch; rooms spacious with very comfortable beds; shower pressure could be better. the sea-pool, separate music room and mini theater are unique features which we certainly did not expect. We will be back. |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach This resort has nothing to do with a 5 star resort. In internationally terms it is maximum 3 star. This resort has no controle of the logistics, wheter it concerns the check-in, the food and beverage, cleaning of the rooms and the sorrounding areas. We had booked 2 rooms, which should have been ready from 12AM. 2AM we had the first room, were told to come back 4 times during tha afternoon and evening, and the room was still not ready. Then they figured out that the guests in the room, first should check out the day after. Finally we got another room for the night, but first after been threatening that we would move to another hotel, and demand our money back. Not a single excuse from anyone. The breakfast buffet is ok if You come before 0830 otherwise it is totally chaos, the tables are not cleaned, no glasses, no one is attending You to ask for coffee etc. At the pool restaurant it is no better. You can sit for 10 min at a table and no one is servicing You, they look at you but they do not attend You. Twice we experienced that we never received a dish, but it was off course on the bill. The staff have not been trained thoroughly. Example, they never pick anything up from the ground when they pass it, it could be trash, dropped items, towels etc. The grass around the pool was filled with stones, trash, cigaretbutts, empty glasses from the day before and even pieces of glass from a broken drinkingglass. In the ground area there was an empty shop, it looked terrible with broken floor and empty walls. Why not cover the windows, with at nice picture? The cleaning of the rooms were not good, the blinds in the bathroom were covered with a thick layer of dust, and the bathtub, were not cleaned for days. This hotels is properly a god charterhotel, because it is filled with Swedish and Norwegian childfamilies. It was very much like being at Mallorca. I could recommend the management of the Langham Group did visit this resort, and saw what was going one. |
Excellent as always |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach beautiful hotel, excellent location, close to other restaurants & shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon . We believe a little more care for honeymoon couples would add more emotional touch to the hotel..as there were few honeymoon couples in the hotel. Nevertheless we had a great time and enjoyed every minute of Rai waren. |
very good booking service. |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach The Hotel is very good, with all the fecalities of a good 5*. Both the swimming pools and the furnishings in the rooms are top-notch. We had a seaview deluxe room and I would recommend this place to anyone to stay. The views from our room was beautiful. Besides the hotel, the whole koh lanta island is very pretty, quiet and tourist friendly. This hotel is about 2-3 hours from the airport and about 12 kms from the main towm (saladan). I would recommend a scooter from right opposite the hotel as the best means of transport and the tuk-tuk s are generally pricey. Overall its a good place to stay for someone needing a quiet relaxing experience. There are some good bars and some excellent eatries but not as populated and noisy as in phuket and phiphi. |
Very good and hassle free. Will use it again |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach The hotel was excellent; fully equipped, very clean and comfortable, nearly luxorious. The location was nice, on a sandy beach and no big tourist places near by. We were very satisfied with all the service in this hotel. Our special thanks for the very kind and flexible service when we wanted to arrange a buddhist wedding ceremony; everything worked out very well, and we had a truly romantic moment! We will definitely recommend Rawi Warin! |
very good |

Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa Rawi Wari, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Very, very nice hotel. Facilities & accomodation first class. Beautifully laid out resort style. Local beaches and sea clean and atttractive. A number of decent bars and restaurants around within walking distance but hiring a motocycle or small jeep is the best way to (carefully) explore this lovely island. The resort is built into the side of a hill. Great views from the high level rooms but a stiff climb to get to them and no lifts! High level rooms therefore maybe not suitable for small kids or those with walking difficulties - be aware. Overall: 9 out of 10 - very good! |
Worked perfectly and good communication from the booking centre in Samui. First time I ve used it and I m impressed. |

Rawi Warin Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach wonderful 5* hotel with four pools, one on the top of the hill with great view and a main pool very huge. staff very nice and food also very good. own movie theatre also good to have. we stayed in a pond villa close to the beach and pool. some hill villas they don t have a good view so i prefer pond villa s. the hotel has also a beautiful garden. the beach is only 200m and rocky, but 10minutes by walk you have a bigger beach with also some good restaurants and some shops. if you are looking for a nice beach go where the pimalai hotel is. this beach is the most beautiful beach on the island and around 900m long. there are other hotels at this beach with the best restaurant on the island (same, same but different). the rawi has a new management since oct 2007. the gm is very nice and helpful. overall very good hotel with great pools but small beach. would go again. another good hotel on the islans is the lamalai with a long beach and great food. (swiss management) |
as usual very good and fast. anytime again. |

Rawi Warin Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Wonderful resort, management and staff fantastic. Facilities excellent. We stayed in a deluxe room on the beach. Some rooms are built up the hill (along with an extra swimming pool with spectacular views)so if this is problem mention when booking, although, at least you would walk off some of the wonderful food...so it may be a blessing in disguise! Koh Lanta and Rawi Warin are still relatively undiscovered gems, well worth visiting. |
3rd time we ve used Sawasdee. Always perfect! |

Rawi Warin Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Very Good resort. Good pool area, good for children too. Staff is friendly, nice and clean room. A small issues, the breakfast is OK, but not like other international luxury chain as Sheraton and Hilton. We had our 3 yr old son with us, an has booked another week here. It s safe and clean, and lots of good facilitis. We lived in deluxe room. Don t book extra bed s, it s a madrass filled with air, we could not use it, and changed into a twin room with 2 queensize beds. |
Trust Sawadee, they r 100% professional, and will help if there s any problem with your booking. |

Rawi Warin Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach We were a bit hesitant about the resort as there was only 1 review however it was fabulous. The infinity pool is beautiful - beach is a bit rocky however they have the ocean swimming pool if this is a problem. We stayed in a pond villa which was at the bottom of the hill. All of the other accommodation is up a steep hill, so if this is a problem make sure to mention when booking. Had a brilliant stay here, would definitely come back again. |
Great. No problems |

Rawi Warin Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Brand new (very) luxury resort on Koh Lanta which opened in december 2005. The design of the buildnings and furniture is extremely beautiful in every detail. The facilities are outstanding (gym, mini-movietheatre, music room, fantastic infinity edge pool etc). Everything was not ready when we visited, but there will among other things be a pier, sundeck and an ocean swimming pool when everything is finished in march 2006. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a very quiet and beautiful place. Downsides: Part of the hotel is located on a steep hill. If you have problems with this, request a room on lower level. The price! The hotel is very expensive. In our opinion though, definitely worth its price. |
Excellent, fast and trustworthy. |
