D.R. Lanta Bay Resort, In the part of Khlong Dao Beach and less than 2 kilometres away from Saladan Village and the boat pier.
Our resort provides 41 bungalows, each with a private balcony, a perfect place for resting in a hammock while listening to the waves lapping on the beach. We offer 4 types of Bungalows, all of the highest quality.

About the hotel:
good suroundings and servieces! Breakfasts are good every day! Good views of the beach and sea! The night is quiet and it s quite a good place to relax and read.

i think the serviece is a bit simple, when i got no standard-style form of voucher for checking, i was a bit supprised.

About the hotel:
Lousy bungalow with lots of mosquitos outside and inside. Bathroom not fresh, and furniture/appearance of bungalow was old and not nice. Pictures they use in advertiseing are from the main building, which we moved to, room here was much newer and more nice. The hotell area between the pool and beach is like a schoolyard, many things could be improved on the outdoor ground.

About the hotel:
Location is great, service is o.k., room is o.k., bathroom is below standard and in need of a complete refurbishing. Many families (from northern Europe) with children in this season, but usually well behaved and no bother for us. We could have a good, quiet holiday.

A really nice resort and very friendly staff. Breakfast was very basic, but you can extend it by ordering from the menu at a very low price. We can recommend this resort to anyone that needs a period of complete relaxation.

About the hotel:
We stayed only four nights but we liked it a lot. Frendly staff and nice, pretty big, clean room. The food was okey but nothing special. The resort is located perfect at the beach which is very good for kids. Our one year old daughter had a great time running around at the beach picking seashells and bathing in the sea...

We are much satisfied with DR Lanta resort. There was a nice atmosphere in the place. Clean room, nice staff and nice people living there at the samt time as we. Very good place for small children. It is a resort we would come back to in the future. We felt at home. Family Daag Sweden

About the hotel:
A goog experience. Free Pickup from pier worked out fine. Bungalow as expected, clean and basic. That s what we booked and wanted. Pool nice, not to many kids end of November. Mostly Scandinavians. Beach nice and quiet with romantic illumination of the beach restaurants in the evening. We loved that and also having a nice stroll after the dinner along the beach. The hotel is owned privately and the owner allways shows presence and the resort is not unhappy if you take your meals at the own restaurant. Well, food is good and prices at the beach differ not too much anyway. I would stay in the resort again without hesitation if price is right and also would choose Klong Dao over Long beach again. A nice stay for us .

Har precis varit på DR Lanta Bay Resort.Ett trevligt hotel/Bungalow område.Suveränt område för sonen 5 år.Kunde springa från pool området direkt till havet.En del svenskar använder detta som ett stop over ställe innan man åker vidare ut på öarna runt omkring.Bra personal,hjälpsamma med allt från läkare besök till bokningar av diverse turer allt från monkey shower till dags turer såsom snorkling m.m.Trevligt pool område med solstolar.resturangen fungerade bra.Personalen försöker gott med engelskan.inga problem med att förstå.nära in till Saladan. rekommenderas.Vi kommer att åka tillbaka hit.Mvh Roger Rask Strömstad

About the hotel:
Staff lovely, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful beach and gardens. Room was big but basic. I suggest you try to make your own way to the hotel from Krabi - maybe taxi to krabi pier and then ferry to Saladan pier, then a tuk tuk to resort. The transport arranged by the company cost $100.00AUD each way which was ridiculous! Breakfast was pretty average. Cost of the room wasn t exactly cheap compared to other bungalows etc around the area.

DR Lanta Bay Resort has swimming pool facilities and offers 41 Bungalows, divided into Deluxe, Mini Suite and Family Suite.
All bungalows are air-conditioned and have attached private balcony for you to enjoy our nice gardening and for chatting with your companion.

Our interior design is simple to make yourself feel at home. The facilities in the rooms varies slightly according to the type of room which you suits you best.

Our Deluxe Bungalows, are located 20 meters from the beach, each bungalow has its own balcony, surrounding with the tropical rain forest gardening, the shady and warm smells of plenty kinds of tropical rain forest plant will offer you a relaxation atmosphere all along your stay.

Mini Suite Bungalow: Triple

If you like to dance and full party, just only fifteen minute walk on the beach to visit many bars down to the south. We are also arrange special party on some special events like Christmas, New Year. The party will performing Full Thai Traditional dance, Cabaret Show, Fire Dance and Fire work and much more up to the occasional.

Swimming pool: Located at near the beach and short walk from all room, surrounded by green tropical garden. Here is the perfect spot for sunbathing with prepared enough semi-bed chair around the pool. You are also order your favorite drink or herb drink as well as some snacks from our restaurant nearby.
