Terje & Deer 2008-04-08 until 2008-04-12	Wannas Place (Andaman Sunset Resort), Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We found this place very nice and clean, and very quiet. The staff was very friendly. We stayed in an a/c bungalow, which had its own terrace. The view was right into the next bungalow though, but that didn t bother us much. We had some gold jewelry lying openly inside the bungalow, and nothing was touched or missing. Two bottles of fresh water was put in the fridge everyday. We will recommend this place!	Very good! No problem at all.

The bungalow held a good standard and was priceworthy. The restaurant had lovely food. Their fried beef in oystersauce was the best on our hole journey. We recommend the hotel. One thing though. Breakfast is not included in price. Calculate with that.	It was our first time booking like this and I must say...SUPER !!!. Everything worked perfect and we strongly recommend this bookingservice.

We had just booked one week , but wee took one more week, the staff are soo friendly and nice, and we had a perfect holliday.nearby everything. the only disepointment was the staff at the resturang, that was not good. not for one day they could smile and bee friendly like we are used too. the chef made a good jobb the food was really good but the people working in the restaurang bad. we went to eat another place	The booking service worked perfect. i could book via you again

Right opposite the beach where the boats come in and in the middle of the main street. Even though this accommodation was in the middle of the main shopping centre no noise could be heard from the room we stayed in. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the only thing was that the showers were not hot enough, staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this accommodation.	No problem

First stay had Seaview room. All good. 2nd stay (16.03.2008) had Garden View Room. Saw squirrels & birds in the trees. Clean tidy rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool is good. Has new Massage Hut. Atmosphere is relaxed & homely. Resident cats are a source of entertainment to! Thanks for a pleasant stay.	AAAA+++++ Would only book with Sawadee.Com
Sara 2008-02-29 until 2008-03-02	Wannas Place (Andaman Sunset Resort), Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Comfortable rooms and good location for shopping, massage, food and island hopping. But long tail boats are parked all along the beach infront of the hotel...so will have to go to Noppatthara beach if you wanna swim. All the staff were pleasant except the owner/manager was a bit grim...but ok..not too bad.	Good. But when i replied the confirmation message with some request there was no response at all.

We rent two bungalows for three persons, 8 nights, and it was perfect. Big, clean and very convenient. Nice and helpfull staff. The pool was small but clean. The only thing we missing was a breakfast buffé included and bacon on their menu. Otherwise very good food in the restaurant. Can really recommend the tenderlionsteak on their menu. We have never eaten so good and tender steak before. We enjoy our stay and can recommend it to anyone.	Very good, no problem at all.

Perfect location for taking a long-tail boat or for dining/shopping. Close to the beach, although we recommend that you go somewhere else to go swimming (a bit dirty). Beautiful beaches are only about 15 minutes away by long-tail boat! The only negative part is that the hotel has way to many ants. Do not leave food or drinks in the room.	Worked out perfect!

Clean rooms and a nice garden around the bunglows. Very good location as its a minute walk to the beach. Good Thai food available in the restaurant. A breakfast buffet if included would have worked better. However, room service was a bit funny, as they refused to serve in the rooms at times.	Very prompt and helpfull. Good service.

Bathroom a bit needy of repairs. Shower had some major concerns, with tile patchwork that was rather unsightly. The ant problem that other reviews noted were still a concern, but not a big deal for me. My biggest concern was the owners lack of warmth and hospitality. He seemed completely unconcerned about helping us find transporataion to out next destination. I would consider staying there again because the location is choice, but don t expect much from the management if problems occur.	Sawadee com is my first choice when traveling to thailand. Have been using them for about two years (over 20 hotels combined) and never any problems.

It is very convenient to book local tours, a whole stretch of dining places to select as well as night street markets to shop. We stayed in a deluxe seaview room and had a beautiful sea view in the morning. We were a little skeptical of this hotel before our stay after reading some bad reviews of this hotel and thus booked only for two nights. However, we have different opinion afterwhich. The security guard was very thoughtful. He came personally to check our room lights and air-con to ensure it worked fine as the reservation counter was closed after our late check-in. He even offered an extra pillow for our toddler. (This is really good service.) The hotel staff fixed up the window curtain and bathtub stopper the next day without us complaining. The room does not have a boiling kettle but you can request from the reception. Our room has ants and this should be rectified. The extra bed could be more comfortable to make it a perfect stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay for the perfect location.	Very efficient in responding to enquiry.

Very convient there are restaurants & mini-mart just beside the resort. Set back they do not have 24hrs room service. And the room have ants, no mini bar, no hairdryer & kettle to boil hot water.	Very Fast Response.

The room full of ants and need to keep the room more cleaner. The only compliment is the staff is very friendly and full of smiles.	Booking is excellent and keep it up.

The cottages were very nice, large, clean and with nice additional features. We also arranged an airport pickup which proved to be good value for money and punctual.	no problems, very easy
Jessica Armstrong 2007-07-04 until 2007-07-08	Wannas Place (Andaman Sunset Resort), Ao Nang, Phranang Beach wannas place was great, the huts were fun and very clean. across the road from the beach the location is central in ao nang. don t bother going to krabi town, there s nothing much there and we had an insident with the ao nang - krabi town truck driver who tried to con us out of money to take us back. so we had a stand up argument and pulled over another truck. just be aware and stand your ground, especially if its not even the last truck back. you can book your tours at many various travel agencies and they should be at least 50% off the high season price if travelling in low season. if not then walk away. krabi scenery is amazing, massive boulders of limestone dotting the landscape. i ve never seen anything like it and it is fantastic. the hotel staff are very friendly and overall we were very happy. would definately stay here again.	quick and reliable.

Very good location as it is near to beach and shopping streets. Found a very good local travel agent nearby. Alan Travel. Very good discount compare to other travel agents. Book all my 4 days local tours and rent a motorbike for two days with Alan Travel.	Very good.

One of the two rooms had problems with the TV and the shower but they were fixed by the management after they were alerted. We lost hot water on our final night but over all the rooms were fine. The location is ideal if you are unfamilar with the area and plan on using the long boats or going on island tours and the hotel is right across the street from the beach. It is on the main street therefore busy but easy for shopping, meals and tours.	The service worked great. Appreciated the quick response when looking for lodging. Wished there was a little more info on how it all worked on the website.

We are pleased with our stay - good rooms, nice staff, nice pool for the kids. Wannas Place is also situated as good as possible if You want to go to other beaches/islands. Triin Lember 2007-02-16 until 2007-02-17	Wannas Place, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Wannas Place was very pleasent stay for me and my friends - the staff was very friendly and accommodating, it had the best location on Ao Nang beach (the botas place was right over the street and it had best restaurants very close by and it was on the market street), the bungalows were clean and nice, the garden with the pool was beautiful and food tasted well. Thank you for having us!	Everything worked just fine and I had no trouble on paying for the rooms or later at the reception - they were waiting for us and everything was like it should have been. I ll book through Sawadee.com certainly again.

They doublecharge us of the minibar because we have mowed two bottles of water to another place in the refrigirator. They did nt bother to look after, if they have done they haved seen the bottles. They run after the bus when we where leaving for the ferry and we haved to pay much more than it cost (they had no change). The same with the peanuts, they charged us for two but we only took one. Our friend lost there mobilephone from the safebox when people have been in the room reparing the AC. The manager was more upset of that our friend told him about it then he was about that the phone was missing. We won t stay there again.	Always very good!

Quiet a walk up there but a fine seaview and a feeling of beeing in a rainforest. Later we moved inside the hotelbuilding, new and fresh, but not the same view. Good and reasonably priced restaurant. The only drawback was the lack of breakfastbuffet included in the price. When back in Au Nang we will come back to Wannas.

Good/central location by the road at Ao Nang, clean rooms (but I think the price around 2000 THB is reflecting the location, more then the standard). There s a tiny pool in the (dark) garden. For families with children there are better hotels on Ao Nang, ex. the Beach Terrace. Remember to buy something for mosquito protection. The service was OK.	I ll use it again

We tried every possible solution we could find but it was impossible to get new towels. We put them in the basket and ended up with no towels at all, we put them on the floor which only resulted in that they where back on the wall after the cleaning of the room. We will not stay on this hotel again, mainly because we do not find it worth its price.	No problems :)

My only disappointment in our bungalow was the bathroom, although clean, really needs updating, otherwise no complaints. The lighting through the paths to our bungalow, although very attractive, is a bit too low for when I was alone and walking through. I would recommend Wannas as very good value and everyone was very helpful and extremely pleasant, especially the reception staff.	Straightforward, although would prefer to secure the booking with a deposit rather than the total price.

The Deluxe Seaview room we had was good value for money. Air-con and the swimming pool are essentials, it was very hot and humid outside. The restaurant downstairs has a great menu, reasonably priced. We would definately go back there if we visit Thailand again.	Sawadee.com was very efficient, no probelms. It s surely the quikest, smoothest way to book.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and an excellent value for money restauraunt. Grounds could do with a little work and a hot water tap in the bathroom would have been nice for shaving.	No problems. Very efficient.

Dirty garden, 5mt. swiming pool, and 50 s forniture. And finaly, the worst thing: very rude people at reception (western, not thai people): We had a litle problem with a 30 year old electric instalation (never in other hotel in Thailand) and we received the most dreadful treatement.	It s not very fair ask for 100% payment in advance.

We had some tailoring done through a tailor recomended by the hotel, though this seemed to attract a large commission and the tailor (kings of Krabi) didn t offer a great service.	Fine
