WONG DING XIANG 2008-12-09	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Friendly and helpful staff. Prepared breakfast for us at 5am so that we can have a full stomach before setting off. Conveniently located.
Sue - England 2008-11-16	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Though the Verandah hotel is small, it is very friendly, the staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you. The breakfast is a little disappointing, but to be honest it did not bother me too much. The location of the hotel is brilliant, a 3minute walk to the beach and though there are bars in the next street, no noise could be heard. I would fully recommend this hotel. GREAT PLACE	brilliant
CKY 2008-11-06	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay I liked this small hotel. It may be listed as a budget destination but I think it offered more than that. Huge room, huge bed, ok shower facility. Located on a side street to the main stretch of Ao Nang road. Staff were friendly and helpful. No pool but you can use the pool at the resort next door (2 mins walk). Hotel is centrally located so within walking distance of food, shops, getting boats to the other islands. 2 Small negatives - their breakfast choice was limited. Opposite to the hotel was Ao Nang s busy bar strip, so music was blaring quite loudly till late. But I will return to stay again because of the great value the hotel offered.	Again, smooth and without problems.
Charlotta Johansson 2008-10-14	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay This was a simple but very good hotel! We had a triple room, it was very big and really clean. No mosquitos or other problems. The air conditioner worked great, so did the laundry service. Although this hotel doesn t have a pool or an elevator, we had a great week here with our two kids. The staff is lovely, and the pool at the nearby resort is clean. The breakfast might seem small, but it contained everything we wanted. I really recommend this place if you want a clean, cheap and good place in Ao Nang!	No problem, great as ever!

NG Siew Fong 2008-09-24	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay I went during low season. Cost only 700 bahts for 1 person and 850 bahts for 2 persons, breakfast inclusive. The room is SUPERB! Very clean, spacious and nice. Its like a 4 star hotel condition and yet at a 2 to 3 star rate. Excellent value for money. Location wise is excellent also, its right in the middle of town (Aonang). Restaurants , massage parlows, shops, convenient stores are everywhere, within 2min. to as far as max. 30min. walk. Beach is within 5min. walk away. Breakfast is very simple and nothing fancy. But looking at the price i paid, can t complaint. I came back to M sia and recommended the hotel to all my friends.	Booked thru internet. Fast. Responded within a couple of hours.
Gumira & Donna Winardi from Indonesia 2008-07-27 until 2008-07-29	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay A perfect choice of a small budget hotel. Room & bathroom was very clean. We got the room on the 2nd floor, so that we don t have to take the stairs too much. Breakfast is OK, not much of choice. Very easy to find food in the neighborhood, a walking distance to McDonald s, Pizza, 7evelen, Tradisional Thailand s Pancake, Pathai & Noodle Soup which is HALAL ! (amazing). Too bad we did not any opportunity to try Great Pool next door. The front lady (night shift) was very kind, she gave many usefull information to us and also give us compliment to use bathroom on our last day (after taking Phi phi tours and have to rush to catch plane). Surely will come back to this hotel for our next trip to Krabi :)	Perfect
Amy Wong 2008-04-25 until 2008-04-28	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay The Verandah Hotel in Ao Nang is about 45 mins drive from the airport, but only about 10 mins of leisurely walking from the beach. We booked 5 rooms which were spread across 3 floors of this lovely budget hotel - very clean and better than expected, considering we paid about THB 850 per room per night. Comfy spacious tiled rooms with attached bathrooms, heated showers and air-conds. Just across the street from city comforts like McD s, Swensen s, 7-11, various hawker stalls / restaurants and numerous massage shops and day tour outlets. Breakfast was buffet-style with cereal, milk, coffee, ham, eggs, sausages, toast, buns, bacon and local fruits. If I ever return to Krabi, I d stay here again :)	Excellent, as always! This is my favoured booking site for any accommodation in Thailand. They are very accommodating with my various request for changes to the booking, and everything was flawlessly executed. Thanks again! :)
Kylie h 2008-01-16 until 2008-01-21	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Was in a fantastic location but that was about the only good point. Staff had next to no english so booking trips was easier at the thousand other tourist info places, but they were friendly. Rooms were spacious but we did get flea bites here, the shower was either hot or cold - no inbetween and the air conditioner sounded like a jet plane but did help drown out the sound of the clubs at the back of the building. Breakfast was probably the worst we had in 5 weeks in thailand.	Would be nice to be able to make entire payment 1st up, not a deposit then full amount.
Anders Fredrik Carleborn 2007-12-08 until 2007-12-09	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Very good. It is appr. 5 min walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. But it can be a bit noisy from the bars close by. They do not have a pool but the guests are allowed to use a pool at the resort next doors and this is really good. The rooms very are clean and quite spacious and also have private safety boxes. It is budget and not luxury but I found the verandah being a better place to stay than other hotels in the same price catergory in Ao Nang. Would stay there again.	Very good, always fast to answer emails and very helpful.
Ben John 2007-11-17 until 2007-11-20	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Excellent hotel for the money, the rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable with a/c and tv fridge etc. Breakfast is worth getting up for and teh voucher for the use of the pool in the 5 star hotel nxt door is superb. Would stay here again definatley	Excellent service cheaper rates than available direct with hotel

We were very satisfied with the room we had although the hot water shower didn t work very well during our stay. Staff are very friendly.	Booking service was fast and efficient. Would defintely use it again if visiting Thailand again
waic74 2007-08-23 until 2007-08-26	The Verandah, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Verandah. Although it is a small hotel but my stay there was very comfortable. Most importantly, my room was spacious, clean & cosy. My room comes with a safe too to keep all my important documents. Also very important is that the bathroom was also clean. As with Thai hospitality, the staff was friendly and helpful. The other plus point is its strategic location. It s only 5-10 minutes walk to Ao Nang beach and about 15-20 minutes walk to the other side of Ao Nang town. One can easily take a 5-10 mins tuk-tuk or songthaew rides to Klong Muang or Nopparatharat beach. One thing to note is the hotel does not have an elevator since it s only 3 or 4 storey high. So guests with heavy luggages will find it a little inconvenient. Just one block away, there is a row of bars & pubs which stay open till past midnight. I could hear some faint music coming from those bars but it did not bother me at all because the sound was rather faint and I am not that sensitive to sound.	Quick response time, efficient & reliable. Will not hesitate to use sawadee for future bookings.
