The room was wonderful, big and comfortable, the hotel crew ware very nice and the breakfast was large and with a lot of options for every one.	The web site crew was excellent!!! We made a lot of changes and every time someone (usually Kanun or Jar) answer me by mail or S.M.S or by phone in a few hours – this is the best service I have ever got!!! Thank you very much for every thing – it was the best honey-moon and it was all thanks to your devotion and kindness!!!
Bridget Hughes Peter Hughes 2008-10-19	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East We spent a lot of time researching resorts and viewing reviews etc of both the west and east side of Railay before choosing Sunrise. We were very pleased with our choice, the resort was very clean, the standard of finish on the bungalows was outstanding and the layout in the landscaped grounds was great, where some of the opposition bungalows looked a bit tired and were laid out in uninteresting rows. There are many shops restaurants on this side of Railay which we found much cheaper than the west. While the west beach is far better than the east, the best beach is 5 mins stroll from both east and west and we spent most of our time there as it was better for swimming and no Longtail boats. Service was good, the breakfasts quite satisfactory. We ould recommend this resort. Longtail to Ao Nang is 100 BHT but the boats wait until they are full before leaving so you can have to wait for the boat to fill or pay more.	Sawadee are excellent, we have used them several times and have always been very satisfied.

There was construction period ongoing when we was there but we got a decent rebate and they managed to keep the activities so the disturbance was minimal. I can recommend this hotel	Excellent
Miss K. Stark 2008-08-02 until 2008-08-06	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East My partner and I stayed at Sunrise Tropical for 4 days after a very busy week in Bangkok and we loved it. The Resturant was probably the best food on Railay. Only problem being that the wait for meals was normally quite long and they hardly ever came out at the same time. The complimentary breakfast though needs improvement. The rooms were glorious! I would definately recommend the Villa Plus as the outside bathroom/shower was amazing, the room was well decorated and very large and comfortable. The staff also offered great service and were very attentive. The location was perfect. Although Sunrise Tropical is located on the bay side, it still proved to the best spot as we were in walking distance to both Phra nang beach and West Raillay beach. This Island is definately a place of serene beauty but no place for the night life. Most of the resorts do not even serve alcohol or cocktails. So if your up for a relaxing time in the sun and surf I would definately recommend both raillay and Sunrise Tropical resort.	Sawadee was a pleasure to book with. No hassels what so ever =)
Sonya Jenkins 2008-07-27 until 2008-08-01	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East We had a great stay at this hotel. The construction that is going on right now was hardly noticeable. We stayed in one of the Tropical Villas and it was a very nice room, very clean and big. The staff was friendly and always helped us out when we neeed it. We booked airport transfers and an excursions through the hotel and they both went off without a hitch. The pool was nice nad it was just a short walk to some very nice beaches. The only thing I wasn t impressed with was the breakfast but I guess that s standard for an automatically included buffet. Overall, I had a great time and would stay there again!	It was pretty easy to use, I was able to pay online no problem and there was no problem checking in at the hotel. You ll get quite a few emails, make sure to read them all carefully. Overall, very good.

Tsang Chi Wing 2008-07-22 until 2008-07-23	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East Sunrise tropical Resort is one of the best hotel in railey. It located at the eastern almost on the beach of railey but have more privacy if compare with other hotels at the western district. We booked the junior suit. It was deluxe and well equiped. I enjoy much with their private, comfort and very good looking room. The staff here is nice and helpful. It would be better if the swimmingpool can be bigger and make the resturant more popular and romance for the guest. (then, we need not go other places). Did enjoy	Very efficient. The price is reasonable. Safety and quickly.

Mah Chia May 2008-07-11 until 2008-07-13	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East This resort is situated in Railay East, but has very easy access to the beautiful Railey West! The service provided was excellent, the staff was very friendly, as we had asked for an adaptor and had some problems with the key slot at first. They provided their service very promptly. Cheaper food can be found in Ya Ya resort, another hotel along Railey East, but in general I am very satisfied with my stay here.	Very fast and no problems at all.

Although there were several warning against visiting during the low season (there was quite a bit of construction in progress in the area) the construction was not an issue. It rained almost daily but did not impede our plans at all. The room was all that was promised and the maids worked around our lazy morning schedule of coffee on the porch before venturing out for the daily activities.	This was our first booking with Sawadee and there were no glitches - we will definitely book through them again.

We had a fantastic stay in a Tropical Villa Plus and we loved it so much, we changed out plans to stay on an extra night. We had to spend the last night in a Tropical Villa, but this was great too. We thought this hotel represented good value for money. If we go back to Thailand again, we would definitely head straight over to Railay to stay here again. It was worth paying the extra cash for the Villa Plus - it was quite an experience!!	Booked through Sawadee without a hitch!

Yvonne Louise Rittedal 2008-03-15 until 2008-03-19	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East Vi hade bokat en Tropical Villa junior och den var helt OK, sängarna som vanligt HÅRDA! Extrasängen var bättre. Ute var det massor av mygg så vi satt aldrig vid uteplatsen. Vårt resesällskap fick en villa som det verkligen stank fränt i,så ta inte B2002(tror det var den, längst upp i raden iallafall) !! Trädgården var fint planerad och roliga växter o träd som även apflockar besökte, poolen var ren o fin men det luktade ruttna ägg ibland vid ena änden. Frukosten var OK men inte mer, ofta slut på olika saker. Restaurangen hade ganska god mat men servicen var väl inte den snabbaste, tror faktiskt personalen på hela ön var rätt trött på turister i slutet på säsongen. Standen går inte att bada på men det tar 5 min att gå till västra sidan. I stort sett ett bra ställe för oss med två barn 3 och 5 år, lugnt o fint, dock inte värt mer än det kostade!	Enkelt, snabbt o utmärkt!

Liked Railay beach, relatively quiet hotel but other bars along beach. Food very good in restaurant, especially local dishes!Good value - I would stay again. Short Walking distance to other beach for swimming and sunbathing plus boats to islands and Ao Nang.

Great remote place that feels like you ve escaped the mass of phuket. Beautiful gardens and best of both worlds with pool and tidal marshes on one side and then a 5min walk through to the other side was a great beach. Do the walk up past where the rock climbers are to come out to another hidden beach. Really enjoyed the peach of this place and everyone seemed relaxed and good food along the beach front.If you do go get a speedboat there not the ferry. It took us 6hrs to get there by ferry and 2hrs by speedboat on way back!!!	Thanks sawadee you re always reliable and always come through with the bookings!

Great clean villas, and beautifully placed in a quiet fantastic tropical garden. Enjoyed every aftenoon when returning from the most fantastics beaches ever seen for relaxing on the front terrace in our villa. Nice staff trying their best to understand and speak english. We have promised ourself to go back. Highly recommend.	Tried to contact Sawadee on e-mail, but Sawadee never returned answer. Beside that - no problems.

The park/garden around the houses is full of tropical trees, flowers and bushes. Very nice. We had a beautiful bungalow close to the swimmingpool. The room is very well designed and the bathroom is optimal. The shower is outside the house and very tastefull made. The staff is very kind and the room very clean. We will come back. The room is	Very good service as usual.

Resort and bungalow are very nice with a 10 minutes beautiful walk to the beautiful Phranang Beach which is much better than touristic Raillay west. Independently, where you stay on the Raillay Penninsula seven nights are just enough since there are limited number of restaurants, price level is 30-50% higher than anywhere else and service level at Raillay west restaurants are terrible. It´s also good to know that if you try to go to Ao Nang after sunset and back to Raillay the long tail boat charge is outrageous and difficult to get one.	Excellent

Especially the outdoor showers. Staff and breakfast is great. Location on East Railey may not be for everyone but works well for us. Centrally located between dining on West Railey and Pranang Beach.

I would definitely recommend this resort, in a quiet area on Railay East, just a few minutes walk to Railay West. The restaurant served delicious meals and certainly offered the best service in Railay. Would stay here again.	Brilliant, easy system, will use again.

The buffet breakfast was also at a very high standard and the staff where very friendly and helpful.	Would have liked to been able to pay for the accom in 1 lot, not having to pay for a deposit, then again for the rest.

Very good value for money compared to the other resorts at Railey. Very nice bungalows, good food, good service, nice pool. There are never a problem to get a sunbed at the pool. A very relaxing place to stay in. We would recommend this resort to everyone we know!	Very good and quick service and information.

However in high season I don t recommend going. Rooms are overpriced (rooms that are normal ones in low season are called Junior Plus and charged more even though it is the exact same room, just you dont have a shower but a bath tub). Also now they ask 50% of the room price for late check out... And our aircon did not work properly - lowest was 25 degrees. It is still a nice place, staff is very friendly and are very attentive but rather go when it is less busy.	Everything great. Very fast, very efficient!

Breakfast is not what you expect at such a resort; a bit simple and poor. So is the rest of the island. Restaurants all serve the same and are not very nutricious at all. Beach on Railay West is beautiful though and compensates a lot!	Very efficient!

Very nice rooms. All solid wood floors and a very big bedroom. Probably the nicest hotel we stayed at in Thailand. Beautiful gardens. The pool isn t olympic class but other than that a great place.	very easy - the staff had our name listed on the board when we arrived and gave us a warm welcome.
Steve Kiekens 2007-09-25 until 2007-09-28	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East Quite a hassle to get there if you re unlucky (like we were) to arrive in boat at low tide and heavy rain.) Amazing, very spacious room with nice terace. Maybe not as private as teh tropical and herbal resort in Ao Nang, where we stayed three days before, but still one of the best! There is basically no beach on this side, but a 10 minutes walk to Prha Nang beach brings you to paradise. I would definitely recommend taking one of teh longtail boats to the islands in teh neighbourhood (chicken, bamboo, Tupa, etc..). If weather is not good, there is really not much you can do. Restaurants and bars are standard. Ao Nang has definitely more options and better quality food, but when sun is there, this is paradise. Overall we enjoyed it very much and would defintely recommend this hotel as the best in price and quality on Railay. (Hotels next door had loud generators next to room, and were mostly in the middle of being renovated.)	perfect as always!

I really want to recommend this resort. But make sure you re able to carry your bag on your shoulders, otherwise it could be hard getting there without getting wet during low tide :-)	Very good.
Kevin jones 2007-08-01 until 2007-08-06	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East hotel is really nice and a good location for going to the beaches at railey west and hat phra nang (recommend).the beach at railey east is awful and its a muddy, sludgy walk for about 300 mts from longtail boat to the hotel at low tide;so take a rucksack.Apart from this minor journey I do recommend railey as a resort its a really nice place!!!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is very good. One negative is the breakfast which could be improved upon. Overall the Sunrise resort is well worth the money. Fantastic Bungalows with first class interiors and romantic outdoor shower. Delighful pool in the tropical garden. Good, tasteful breakfast with a large choice. The staff is very helpful and friendly - special compliment to Khem, you do a great job! At our next trip to Krabi will definitely stay again at sunrise tropical. Thank YOU for everything! We had all of the conveniences we needed. The pool was delightful. We really liked the location on East Railay. It was quiet and peaceful. When we wanted more action and the beach, a quick walk took us to West Railay or Phra Nang. We ended our 3 week Thailand vacation at Sunrise and were very pleased. We look forward to returning one day.	Quick and efficient.

We booked a Deluxe Room which was great, exactly as website photos. A good hotel but if we went back to Railay, would probably look at Railay Bay Resort and Spa, looked very impressive. Antonia 2007-05-01 until 2007-05-05	Sunrise Tropical Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Beach East According to me the most beautiful resort in Railay Bay. The bungalows are very beautiful, spacious and clean. The surrounding garden is just amazing and there is enough space between the bungalows to guarantee privacy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. The pool is a bit small but there is a wonderful beach within 5 minutes walk. There you can also find some more restaurants and bars. However, if you are looking for an exciting nightlife, Railay Bay might not be the right place to go although there are boats which can bring you to Krabi town and other places easily and they are not too expensive. The hotel offers kayaking and a variety of trips to surrounding islands including climbing and snorkeling.	Excellent.

So we expected and hoped to like it and we did. Nice refreshing pool, never crowded and enough loungers. Good variety at breakfast, chef making eggs to your liking. Superbly decorated and maintained rooms, we loved the outdoor shower, but of couse you pay for it. Plenty of room to have 2 children with you as is room for a single bed and the chaise can be made up as a bed. Do not worry about being in East Railay as all is 10 min walk anyway and East side is great at night. Overall loved the whole scene at Railay though expect it to be quite expensive for Thailand. Manager, Dean is extremely helpful, even managing to retrieve amy reading glasses fro PP islnd where they were left in a 500 baht bungalow. Never thought I;d see them again, but thanks to Dean they were found and sent over on boat that afternoon. If your budget stretches to this, stay here, you ll love it	Ok but price higher than found on 2 other sites, A discount offered and accepted but still pricier than others. Some communication b/w sawadee and hotel missing re a 10% discount

We had a Tropical Villa room and had wanted to upgrade to a Villa Plus room but there was no availability. We were not disappointed though. The rooms are very beautiful and we were surprised that they were much nicer than the photo s on the website. Although not on the beach side of Railey which we knew prior to staying there, the beach is literally only a 3 minute walk away. We were sad to leave and would love to stay here again.	Excellent service with no problems booking through this website.
