Marco Meur 2008-12-27	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay When we came to the hotel we did not know what to expect, it having a muslim owner) The hotel consists of cottages, a little from the busy road in a beautiful, tropic garden. Our mouths fell open at the sight of the room. Never saw a more beautiful hotel room before....( we stayed in room 2003; top floor). The size was amazing, about 7 meters long ( not countig the bathroom). Beautifully decorated, everything looked brandnew. Bathroom was huge. Perfectly clean. Big balconies with views on the pool and garden. The setting in the tropical garden is amazing, you woulden t know that you are only a few meters from the busy town life with many restaurants and shops. Wonderful pool, great restaurant. No alcohol in rooms minibar, but in restaurant is no problem and a nice welcoming fruit basket upon arrival. Highly reccomandable.	Good, no problems.
Elgin Ewe 2008-12-19	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the beach and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Quiet and natural (jungle-like) surroundings providing plenty of cool shade. Quite a different environment and atmosphere compared to similarly-priced hotels but in a good way. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is adequate but a bit lacking in variety. Service is generally good and fast. What more can you ask for considering the price? Go for it!	Reliable and responsive. Enough said.

It can get tiring walking in an out from hotel to the shopping area as its a bit deep inside. Breakfast is average. On the whole is was a very pleasant stay.	Good. no hassle
Michael Patrick Rock 2008-11-22	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay I had a wonderful stay at this complex. The hotel grounds and swimming pool are beautiful and the accommodation is first class as are the staff. Somkiet Buri is a leisurely five minute stroll to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants on the way. WARNING: Do take mosquito repellant. Rooms and swimming pool are in dense vegatation surrounded by streams and man made lakes so this can be a problem but hey this is a little bit of paradise in a busy resort. Top class and very secure.	Perfect! Booking is simple and strait forward with all promises fulfilled.

Flynn 2008-11-06	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Lovely hotel, beautiful flower display put on our bed as a honeymoon gift. Would recommend that anyone staying here brings really good mosquito spray and repellents as hotel is based in jungle style setting, and there are a lot of mosquitos. We got bitten a lot! MURIEL HAMONIC 2008-10-30	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Very nice place, like in the jungle. Lots of frogs and other animals singing at night. Big rooms, clean and nice. Ok breakfast, but i would not recommend to eat other meals there... I got sick...	every thing went on very well.

The bathroom was good - my only gripe was that the water pressure was on the low side. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.	No problems!

Victor Khoo 2008-07-30 until 2008-08-02	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay As described by most other guests, it is like living in a small tropical resort. The setting is lovely with lots of different plants. We even have a squirrel hoping along the balcony timber railing and seen beautiful tropical birds. Aside from that, we found the room quite basic, AC extremely noisy, lighting too dim for the bathroom, toilet bowl stained, shower hand rail very low (fortunately, we are not tall), and one of the reception staff (slightly older than the other girls) very unfriendly and abrupt without any smile (which is unlike Thai custom and hospitality). Also, the restaurant staff at breakfast time have poor customer service. They stood there and don t even bother to serve coffee or tea unless you asked them. The other negative comment is the room safe. Well, you better get it right the first time or you will have to wait a long time before they send someone to your room to fix the lock. The instruction on the safe is poorly written and hard to understand. We travelled a lot and have never come across such an ancient looking safe!	Fantastic and reliable. Have used this service in the past and will use it again in next trip.

Shopping & many restaurants all right there & beach a 5 minute walk Would definately recommend. Value for money	Really efficient. Would definately use again

The rooms are large and clean although no tea/coffee facilities. The accomodation is good value for money and the location excellent. The staff are pollite and helpful. Would definately recommend.

If you want luxury mixed in with local flavour then this is the place to stay. Perfectly located, clean and friendly we can highly recommend it. So good we extended our stay twice!!!	The booking service was simple and fast.
CHRISTOPHER STRICKLAND 2008-05-16 until 2008-05-19	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION - JUST ABOUT 5 MINUTES WALKING TO THE BEACH. THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS NICE AND HAD A SECLUDED/PRIVATE ATMOSPHERE. WE HAD THE DELUXE THREE BEDROOM WAS GOOD. BATHROOM WAS VERY NICE. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE GOOD. ONLY DRAWBACK AT THIS TIME IS THE CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR, BUT ONCE THAT S GONE-NO PROBLEMS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.	QUICK AND EASY. I AM NOT SURE WHY THOUGH THAT THEY MAKE YOU PAY IN TWO INSTALLMENTS.

The pool was clean and in a nice secluded setting. Our upper level room was large and clean w/ a nice balcony. The decor of apple green was a little tacky, but the bathroom was beautiful. However, the bath was shared by a few ants. Both rooms needed more overhead lighting. Breakfast was good and the staff attentive for the most part.... I don t like it when they hover over you...and they didn t. Construction next door was loud, but only noticed it at breakfast. If your just looking for a massage to break up the day and keep trucking...the Spa was over priced....pleanty on the street to choose from. If lounging in luxury is your style....it s very good. Overall, we would refer others and stay again ourselves. Our stay was in the low priced rainy season, but had perfect weather! Shopping and dining were a few steps away and the beach about 5 mins....street vendors could be a bit pushy...with a smile :)

THANKS SAWADEE

Zimmer und Bad immer sauber, toller Pool und fantastischer Garten. Das Frühstücksbuffet hätte abwechslungsreicher sein können. Trotzdem ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen	Es hat alles prima geklappt.

It is close (5min walking) to the AoNang boat service and nicely hidden from the main street. A perfect base for island/beach safaries. The pool area and garden surrounding the hotel was very nice. We had poolside rooms which was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to every one going to Ao Nang/ Krabi.	Very easy and quick confirmation.

Perhaps they should have give us a room on ground level since the infant was mentioned in the booking when it was made. The room was large and nice, but the view from the bungalow (stayed at cheapest room..) was a joke....there was none, but leafs. Hotel area very calm. The prices a bit high for what you get. Nice and very helpful staff!

Wer Massentourismus mag der ist hier in Ao Nang genau richtig, viele Menschen, Longtailboote, und mächtig was los, für uns war eine Nacht zur überbrückung genug!!!

Good service, and ok breakfast.In fact, we thought it was so nice that we booked the same hotel when coming back to Ao Nang in the end of our holiday.	No complaints, worked very well.

We felt very secluded, like we sere staying in a tropical forest, but when we walked just a few hundred yards up their driveway, we were right there in town and just a five minute walk to the beach. The service was excellent and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay there again!	Booking service was excellent.

It s was like escaping into a tropical jungle - a delightful experience. The restaurant food was excellent, the breakfast was simple - but perfectly ok. Ask for poolside rooms or first floor rooms (some ground floor rooms have v limited visibilty because of the vegetation). The triple rooms (even if you are just two) are well worth the little extra	excellent

Big rooms and clean, very nice swimming pool, good breakfast. Only one little problem, the resort is in the forest, so, in the evening there are mosquitos in open areas (reception and restaurant) Il resort è molto carino, immerso nel verde ma vicino alla strada principale e a 200 mt circa dalla spiaggia. Le stanze sono grandi e pulite e c è una bella piscina. La colazione è buona, dicono che sia buono anche il ristorante, ma tenete presente che all aperto di sera ci sono le zanzare...	good service, good price (better than direct reservation) Servizio valido, il prezzo pagato è inferiore a quello richiesto direttamente dall hotel.

Staff weren t as friendly as other hotels. The sun loungers around the pool were in the shade. The hotel setting was nice, very jungly...but this also meant that there were a lot of creepy crawlies in the room (including cockroaches! we found 4 of them). No alcohol in the minibar. Breakfast wasn t great.	This is the first time we have used Sawadee, and we found it a very reliable service. We d definately use it again :o)

We can recommend this place 100 percent be sure. Ideal gelegenes Hotel in topischer Umgebung , unweit vom Strand, ein absolutes highlight unseres Aufenthaltes in Krabi-Aonang. 100 % empfehlenswert.	we had problems with the booking when we asked different (!) times to get a room in this hotel

Unfortunately there are heavy construction woks next to the hotel at the moment. Before booking ask if they finished or take one the last bungalows at the far end. Would come again !	Perfect

They charge about 400bath for additional bed in the deluxe room. The hotel is very nice and quiet but the room smelled a little moldy. The service (check-out, room service and any contact with the front desk) was a little slow but I believe it is just the “Thai-way”	Perfect!!!

I found this via Sawadee two years ago and have stayed there four times since and have never been disappointed. The resort is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation,set away from the noise of the main road. Rooms private and secluded. Pool clean and the beach is only 300mtrs away, so you have both worlds. Breakfast is OK, nothing great, but again I didn t come for the breakfast. All the staff were very helpfull and polite. This resort is great for families, couples.	Have used Sawadee many times for my holiday accomodation. The company provides prompt service and quality

Garry Haynes 2007-07-10 until 2007-07-14	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay On our arrival we noticed that the pool was very green and people were swimming in it with fear of people getting ear infection i complained to management they decided to clean it up and it took 2 days so we only had 2 days of swimming and we were very disappointed as when we book a hotel with a pool thats what we expect not one that cant be swam in spoiled the holiday at ao nang as the room was lovely we had poolside bungalow	booking service was fine but should not charge for something that you dont get

Very nice spa, try body scrub and facial treatment. Wooden paths lead you through the rainforest, where there are many beautiful plants and ponds with fish.In the evening it´s wonderful to sit on your terrace in all privacy listening all strange (animal´s)sounds and watching bats flying around. Good price and location, too.Good choice if you aren´t looking for luxury or routine accomodation.We were 3 adults and two kids and we enjoyed our stay.	Excellent. We always use Sawadee.com when travelling in Thailand.

Good points, great locations, rooms clean and modern, great quiet atmosphere, staff very helpful and very friendly. Bad points, brakfast not great i.e kept out in warm for a long time, no sun around pool because overgrown.. but then again thats the whole point. If your looking for a good quality beautiful hotel then this is perfect.. thoroughly enjoyed staying here.	Brilliant.. easy and simple!
