Magnus Larsson 2008-04-22 until 2008-04-28	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach When we came the staff had upgraded us to a bungalow near pool as the area almost was empty and to our kids satisfaction, really nice. Staff in restaurang was one of the most friendly persons we met during our visit in Thailand. Pool was also one of the cleanest/best we tried in Thailand. The garden was beautiful. Cleaning in the room was so-so...	Excellent except that the transfer from Krabi airport was not ordered but they arranged and it came in 30 minutes.
Ingrid Hellstrom 2008-03-20 until 2008-03-25	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We were 8 persons staying at the hotel and liked it very much. The service was good and nice staff. Our garden villa was big and spacious and had a very nice and big bathroom. The pool area was nice and the kids loved the slide. The hotel was not full and we had a lot of space around the pool with enough sunchairs. The beach was not so good close to the place,but nicer a little bit further away. Although we found lots of broken glas on the beach wich is horrible. Another bad thing was that out garden villa was next to the neighbours dog yard. Sometimes we had dogs that barked a lot wen we were in bed. I would anyway recomend this place.	Ok booking service, sometimes i did not get my questions aswered so i had to write a couple of times. But i fell out ok in the end.
Marie Elmskog 2008-03-16 until 2008-03-24	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We had a nice week at Holiday Villa. The garden villa was clean and very cosy. Our children liked the pool much. The only thing that wasnt so good was the beach in front of the hotel. The hotelstaf in the reception was not very helpful, unfortunatly. One thing we really want to recommend is the restaurant Gong Grit 100 m away on the beach. They have the best thaifood in Koh Lanta!!

The only negative i have to say about the resort is that the beach at the hotel is terrible and not good for swimming. You can of course walk 500 meters to get to a part of the beach that is ok.	Worked great. No problems at all.
Markus Anderberg 2008-01-09 until 2008-01-16	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach This hotel was very very friendly and we liked it a lot, we felt that we belonged there instantly and the staff was superb. We will recomend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was also good. We will return to this beautiful irland and there was a lot of good restaurants at the beach. Very nice, cosy and relaxing. the shopping where not everywhere you went, but easy to find in Saladan 5 minutes away by tuk-tuk.	It was easy and to our satisfaction!

The restaurang had quite tasteless food, poor cleaning (espacially in bathroom-disgusting). Problems with rats in some bungalow (on the roof). We felt the pool was not clean. Although there is nice staff and good service.I dont think the hotel is worth the money.	Excellent!
Mr Hakan Hedman 2007-12-28 until 2008-01-05	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Rooms are good, breakfast is ok, beach just outside the hotel are more like a fishing boat marina. Over all, OK! If you stay here visit the Time for Lime resturant, next door. It´s great!!	exellent, as allways.
ROBERT DAHLSLATT 2007-12-06 until 2007-12-10	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach The hotel is rather old and som parts need a renovation. The pool has a nice part for kids with 0,6m depth. The beach outside the hotel is terrible,longboats everywhere,rocks, muddy water. During my 3 weeks in Thailand we stayed at four diffrent hotels and this hotel had the best beds and pillows. All the other hotels had rock-hard beds and pillows that caused back and neck problems. If I come back to Koh Lanta I would choose another hotel, I don´t think I will come back to Koh Lanta because there are much nicer places in Thailand to visit.	Fast,serviceminded and easy to speak to by phone.
Axel Dickemann 2007-11-28 until 2007-12-05	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Das Personal an der Rezeption war arrogant und lustlos. Man hatte immer das Gefühl, man würde stören. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Zimmer z. T dreckig, das Bett sah aus, als hätte schon einer drin geschlafen. Die Anlage an sich ist schön, ein großer Park, in der Mitte der Pool. Wir hatten eine Garten-Villa, schön geräumig und ein großes Bad. Die Klimaanlage war sehr laut (wie eine Bohrmaschine). Frühstückbuffet war ausreichend und gut. Der Strand war zum (Sonnen)-Baden nicht geeignet, grobsteinig und ab und zu Glasscherben. Ein paar Schritte weiter war es besser.	Sehr gut
Craig 2007-11-17 until 2007-11-20	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach The suite was lovely, pool was great and the food was nice. The staff though were probably the least friendly we experienced in Thailand and we stayed in 6 places. they were very nice to the families with kids but we felt alienated seemingly because we didn t! The location isn t the best either. It is on Klang Dao beach which seems to cater more for families and it is at the far end of it which is a little out of the way. Several times I walked along the beach I picked up broken glass and once I picked up a used needle. I would not fancy having that sticking out of my foot due to high HIV figures in Thailand. For the money you could do better. The resort itself though is IDEAL for families(so long as you don t go to the beach).	the Sawadee booking system is second to none. Quick and much cheaper than if you book directly through the hotels..
JL 2007-04-10 until 2007-04-12	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We had a great stay! Our room was spacious and clean, with modern and tasteful decorations. All of the staff - from the receptionists to the wait staff to the gardeners - were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. The hotel is located on a rocky section of the beach so beachbums might want to be aware of that. All in all, great value for money. I d definitely stay again.	Fast response and professional service.
Tina 2007-03-07 until 2007-03-15	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach The Holiday Villa was GREAT! The apartment was exceptionally clean and really spacious. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the food was great. The hotel is situated at the end of the beach, just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the busier section where the majority of accommodation and restaurants are. I can t wait to go again.	Really efficient and helpful - would definately use again.

Christian DELCOUR 2005-12-29 until 2006-01-05	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Well maintained hotel, with charming individual villas. Ours was a beach front suite, with a nice bedroom and bathroom, however the livingroom was quite austere for a suite . It is indeed a beach front hotel, however the beach right in front of the hotel is mostly made of rocks and fishing boats with very noisy engines (starting between 5 and 6am) and does not permit you to bath. If you want to do so, you will have to walk about 100m further. The coffeshop and the bar serve tasteless food and drinks and I suggest you walk along the beach where you can find very friendly places where you can enjoy very good and cheap food and drinks. This hotel is certainly along the right beach but at the worse location of it.	The pre-paid transportation from Krabi airport to hotel and back was quite messy. Beside that point, the booking was correct.
Leif Boutrup 2004-02-08 until 2004-02-19	Holiday Villa, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We spent one and half week in one one of the very comfortable and spacy beach front bungalows. Great bathroom and clean and well equiped with everything you need for a perfect holiday on the beach.... The staff is serviceminded and very helpful in the very pleasant Thai way. Good sense of humour. The location - not too far from the small town Saldan (approx 40 Bath with a taxi) with a lot of good restaurants and shopping possibilities - is ideal. The beach right in front of the hotel is not the very best - but a couple of hundred yards - and it is wonderful. Pool suroundings perfect for a family with children. All in all a highly recommendable hotel.	Absolutely smooth - quick answers and frindly service.
