Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay We have spent some pleasant days in the railay village ressort and really got what we were hoping for - a very comfortable and clean accomodation that provided us with a unique holiday feeling (we opted for a spa villa), good weather (we spent the last october days in krabi), delicious food and a nice beach that was not overcrowed at that time. all in all I can recommend to everybody to give it a try. we are planning to come back very soon. a beach |
booking via the sawasdee site was easy and convenient, and provided better rates than via the spa internet site. I compared a number of providers and sawasdee offered the best value for money. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Just spent a week at this resort for our wedding, with our family from both sides of the world. Had an amazing time. Rooms were magical, pool is amazing, and the restaurant served excellent food extremely cheaply. Staff were always friendly and charming. We had our wedding meal in the restaurant and they did us a beautifully decorated table. Very child friendly - we were there with two 18-month olds and they had the time of their life too. Railay beach itself is absolutely gorgeous and a great location for exploring surrounding islands. Highly recommended. |
Booking and paying was very straightforward, we made several changes and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay We stayed at the Railay Village hotel for 3 nights and were so glad we chose this hotel. We had a chance to look at others when walking around and found this one to be a very good lucky pick. The rooms are extra large and spacious and coplete with all the ameneties you need. We were most impressed with the presentation of the room on arrival complete with rose petals on the bed (and water filled bath). The bathroom towels where even twisted and scrunched up to form the shape of 2 geese kissing so that in itself was worth taking a photo of. The hotel pool was very inviting and the hotels gardens where most impressive with plants that looked like that wouldnt want to be anywhere else. Hotel staff very friendly and the hotel itself is loacated on one of the better beaches in Railay so with all this in mind....its a definate thumbs up for me. IF i ever return to this part of Thialand.......I ll e staying here for sure. |
Very Quick |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Great location & beach. Need to advise travellers to dress appropriately as the transfer to the hotel by longtail boat will get them wet. |
Excellent |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Stunning and well maintained grounds + rooms are very gorgeous,we stayed in downstairs pool villa.the pool near room was clean and not chlorinated..probably a saltwater pool.railay beach was beautiful, but many long tails anchored in front of resort, just walk down beach to left or right for swimming. Friendly + quiet, great experience. Food is ok,better at railey bay resort. We hired a longtail by ourselves for 4 island tour, boatman #17,his name was now ,not sure how to spell it,but he was nice and we liked having boat to ourselves. |
Sawasdee was cheaper + easier than booking through resort. Resort credit card machine works only part of the time,be prepared for railay village to tell you to pay in cash. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay We had taken the bungalow with a small jacuzzi. The bungalow was just perfect and the restaurant was very simple but very very nice (we loved the seafood barbecue every evening). The staff was extremely friendly, especially with our 2 babies. I strongly recommend this hotel. Railay is a very nice place to stay 3 days. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay This place was brilliant. Excellent service, super cool modern rooms with great views. Breakfast very nice - yummy banana pancakes. Restaurant ok, but plenty of choices at other resorts nearby. AMAZING place to stay - beautiful beaches all around. Would be back in a heartbeat! |
Efficient and reliable. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Fantastic hotel. My husband and I feel it was the best hotel on the island apart from the exclusive resort that we couldn t afford and the average tourist cannot look in. We stayed in a downstairs apartment and a beautiful pool was at our feet. Rooms are very classy and roomy. Even a DVD player in case of rain. You can purchase these in the shop area which is really quaint and cool. East Railay is the swamp side with low budget accomodation and west railay is the beautiful beach side. Service at the hotel was good. We ate at all the resurants to see which we liked. All were good. We were there 5 nights and didn t get bored. Nice to get away from the busy tourist areas of Thailand. Clean and pretty. |
Excellent very easy . |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Lovely hotel with beautiful clean gardens. We stayed in a Pool Villa upstairs which was very clean and simply decorated. Hotel fronts onto the West beach which is much better than the East beach which is really mud flats and can be smelly. Would recommend staying at this hotel. |
All was ready when got to hotel. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay A lovely hotel that I would recommend to anybody. Very relaxing resort, close by to some bigger towns/islands if you re looking for some excitement. The hotel itself was spectacular and we were more than happy with the reservation at such a bargain price - having stayed at some other 4* and 5 * resorts there wasn t any comparison. Slight communication issues as not all staff spoke the same level of English but there was always somebody to help out and nothing was missed. We stayed in the upstairs of a bungalow, which personally for us was better than the ground floor as you also benefit from afternoon sun on the balcony and no shade! perfect. Food and beverage of a high standard and reasonable prices although more expensive than the mainland. A very clean resort where everybody went out of their way to make our stay special. we are a young couple and would recommend this for other young couples, in fact ay couples! And familys or even single people looking to relax. Would definitely go back and use again. |
very efficient. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay The Hotel was great! Our spa villa was the one next to the 1st swimming pool (and the closest to the beach also), the room was beautiful, the bed covered with flowers to welcome us (so romantic...) The restaurant was also nice, not the best food we ate there, but still good. The only little minus was that the water of our private jacuzzi was cold (!), but since we had the swimming pool for us all alone (as most of the clients were going the the other swimming pool of the resort), it was ok! In short, I would recommend this hotel for honeymooners like us or for any one who can afford it! |
Perfect! |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay The first time in Krabi and Railay beach. Absolutly the best place to stay in Krabi!!! The hotel was exellent. Clean and rooms were big. Good value for money. We had 2 small (4 and 2 years) kids and no problems at all. Kids loved the swimming pool. We´ll be back. And can recomend this hotel to every one. |
Worked very well. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Railay is a piece of paradise, and so is this hotel. A great location, yet quiet. Clean and comfortable, furnished with taste. Bed was comfortable, even if a bit too hard. Storage space in the room was a bit too small, but rooms are big and spacy. Pool is of good size and enough sunbeds available. Wonderful gardens! Staff is friendly, but doesn´t speak much engish. Two things that were not that good: breakfast was very, very basic and we even got some bread with mould in it! On departure, the hotel insisted that we pay for items from the minibar we hadn´t consumed!! Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back here. |
Great -from booking to service! |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Railay Bay Resort is the most awesome place to stay on West Railay. The beach is unbelievable. The resort food is tasty, great and cheap. The 2 pool areas are super. Resort massages cheap by international standards but expensive relative to other opportunities on the island - nonetheless very good experience. We stayed in a Garden Cottage, with own Jacuzzi etc. Very spacious and clean rooms. Highly recommend this resort - would definitely stay there again. |
Very smooth process |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Nice hotel with very good standard. Newly renovated. Will probably come back. Had two negative experiences with the hotel. One of the guards took a photo of our blond teenager daugther. As we complained at the hotel, suddendly nobody spoke english, not even the manager who was called over the phone after me insisting. As we checked out and payed all cost occouring during stay and wanted to pay with VISA, an fee of 3% was added. This was not stated anywhere but just added to the payment. |
We visited 5 hotels during our two weeks in Thailand. Everything worked out very well, except for the last transfer fromm Ao Nang to Krabi airport which allmost made us missing the flight back to Europe. Only after many phone calls a pikup finally arrived. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay The upper room was excellent. The view from the upper room balcony was good as well. However, the safe in the room presented a little problem but was eventually sorted out. The swimming pool was good too with good length and depth. The room service can be more prompt though, especially in changing fresh bath and beach towels. For the hotel restaurant, the food has a large variety with reasonable price, it also presents a fantastic view of the beach and the setting of sun at around 6.30pm. Quality of food is alright for non-picky eaters. The complementary breakfast buffet have little to choose from and can be better provide more choices. The waitering staff are friendly but they can improve with more detailed guidance in waitering skills as well as faster food deliveries. The more popular Prahnang beach is easily accessible from the hotel with a 15mins leisurely walk to the other side of a tall hill. Booking of water activities is very prompt and the service from the activity desk is good and friendly. However, the hotel front desk staff have very basic command of English and can improve tremendously if given more English lessons to complement their warm friendly personalities and excellent hospitality. The transportation services to & fro Krabi Airport was very efficient. Overall, I give the hotel 8/10 rating. |
Very good. Keep it up. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay The hotel room and pool was lovely. It is not possible to have cocktails by the pool, although there are bars nearby. The hotel service is a bit hit and miss, sometimes very good, and sometimes less than average. Having said that if I was going back to Krabi I would consider staying there again as the rooms are a good size. |
Good. |

Railay Village Resort, Ao Nang, Railay Bay Excellant hotel brand new. Beautiful large room and 2 pools all very clean. Good food at good prices with a huge menu and evening bbq. A busy beach but so quiet by the pools. Only down side was the smelly drains from other hotels and a mix up with our transfer at the end, they sorted it out eventually. i would stay here again. |
No problems, very well looked after and I will use sawadee again. All clear and concise paper work. |
