Piyanan 2008-10-29	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay I stayed at Tipa resort for 3 nights. Tipa is nice hotel and worth for money we paid. Anyway, Tipa is not beach front, but it took only 5 mins to beach . We will stay there again	very fast and good service
SIN LI CHOO 2008-09-23	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Staff is very friendly & helpful, the hotel has very good environment, clean, and the location is very convenience. it would be better if hotel can improve the quality of bed (change to spring to avoid body ache) and change the new towel (current is clean but yellowish due to old).	Efficient & Effective, and the information is accurate.
MISS PARVEEN AKHTAR 2008-09-23	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Tipa Resort was fantastic! We stayed in a deluxe double room, it was very clean and very comfortable with a lovely view over the pool. Breakfast was great, had the normal selection of food- cereal, fruit, toast, eggs made to your liking, tea coffee and juices. Swimming pool looks smaller in the photo s but was actually a good size. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very clean and would definitely stay here again if I visit Krabi. Highly recommended hotel. There is building work going on at the back of the hotel but this was not disruptive at all.	Fine, simple service.
SIN LI CHANG 2008-09-23	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Perfect location and greenery, relaxing garden view and yet just 3 minutes walk to the shopping/travel district. Ground Staffs are helpful + friendly with good service attitude. Except the room towels should have upgraded (looked yellowish and dirty).	excellent prompt response and 1st class service... Bravo to Ms .Ploy for her kind and helpful hospitality...keep it up. Will defenitely introduce to frens and family for travel booking arrangement .....

Staff are friendly and those at reception always remember our room number and come out from the counter to give back our rooom key when we return to the resort. Beautiful environment with lots of plants. Convenient location but away from the main road. Nice breakfast. Great value for our price.	Excellent

Room was really nice and clean. Pool was ok, children loved it. Near to longtails and shopping. We were satisfied.	Excellent!

We stayed at the cheapest bungalo and it was really nice and maked us feel like we were staying at the middle of a jungle. Breakfast was ok.We booked more nights after one. We will absolutely stay in this hotel if we go Krabi again.	Good
Gregory D Rodgers 2008-04-14 until 2008-04-16	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Excellent. Location ( no view of the beach area as it is a little back from it) great - only a very short stroll. Breakfast excellent, with variety. LH end of Ao Nang beach is the best. Loads of massage huts and day time bars. Do check out Fishermans Lane for food and the Night Market. Both are fantastic. Great spot for a few days. 1900 baht is value for money for basic bungalow.	Tops - haven t faulted them.
Johan Haze 2008-04-08 until 2008-04-13	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Beautiful resort with friendly staff. We stayed in the bungalow for 5 days and liked it very much. The location is very good and within minutes you can walk to Ao Nang beach to stay there or go with a longtail boat to other beaches around krabi (wich are more beautiful). Breakfast was very good, but we didn t have dinner there so I cannot comment on that. We would certainly go back to this resort.	Excelent. No problems.
Heidi & Petri, Finland 2008-04-05 until 2008-04-07	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay We stayed at a superior bungalow for two nights in the beginning of April 2008 and were quite happy with it altought the shower wasn t working very well and the towels in the room were quite old. But the environment around the resort is wonderful! Bungalows are almost in the jungle and you can see lots of animals. For example we saw some monkeys and lizards in the front of our bungalow. That was great! The reception area is also very good and well equipped and the resort s location is nice, near the beach street.	Worked well and fast!

Vi befann oss knappt på hotellet så det kändes som om vi inte fick ut allt av vad som erbjöds. Lite dyrt med tanke på det. Annars bra service (välkomstdrink), fin pool, helt ok frukostbuffé (blev lite tjatig efter några dar). Vi bodde i en Bungalow och den var väl sådär. Inte lika fin som på korten. Mycket myggor och insekter i träden runtomkring (dom låter lite på eftermiddan), dock fick vi inga myggbett :) Perfekt läge, mitt i Ao Nang centrum. Nära till stranden (longtailbåtar), men ändå ingen störande trafik (trots det centrala läget). Tyst nattetid.	Funkade klockrent.

We enjoyed the restaurant for several meals and the food was excellent. Hotel staff were warm and welcoming and looked after us completely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.	Excellent
Tarnoci 2008-02-20 until 2008-02-23	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Nothing special for money what they reqest,bungalows are on the hill who dont like a climb forget for it.Breakfast untill 10.00 ,after 09.30 problem to find some food.For internet you have a pay -for all resort they have only 2 comps!!! and usually a kids are playng a games or watch movies.	good

Very good location, close to everything. Really good minimart at the entrance. Good breakfast. We can only complain about one thing and that is allowing smoking around both breakfast and pool! Please have an area only for smokers, do not allow people to smoke all over the place! But overall a very beautiful hotel and we will stay there again if we comes to Ao Nang!	Very good. We booked and payed everything from home and the hotel were expecting us when we arrived, they had our booking. Fun to be able to mix our own trip like this and that everything worked out just fine.

It s located very close to the main street and the beach, but is also set back from the road and is very quiet---no street or party noise at night. Our room was very clean and with a gorgeous view of the pool and surrounding landscape. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we ever travel to Ao Nang again, I would book at Tipa in a heartbeat---no exaggeration.	very good---would use again

Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms spacious and perfectly clean, site of the resort is good: close to the center but away from the crowd and noise. Aonang itself is more touristic and crowded than we expected, so are the - very beautiful - beaches around. If you are looking for relaxation go somewhere else.	perfect

We stayed 3 nights at Tipa Resort and we loved every minute of it. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. We stayed in a Baanmai bungalow and it was just wonderful. The bungalow was clean and brand new. There was a great view. The food is good and they have the best cocktails in town ! The swimming pool is wonderful and the massages are great !We would come back without a doubt. It is very well situated, just next to the restaurants, shopping centers and cool bars and 200 meters from the beach. Excellent hotel and excellent service !	EXCELLENTE, THE BEST SERVICE !!

Staff very helpful and freindly although occasional language problems. Breakfast same daily but ample. Deluxe room was very clean spacious and ideally situated with great views. Overall a lovely hotel highly recommended, would come again.	Very efficient service, quick replies to emails would use again.
El-Ma. Norway. 2008-01-14 until 2008-01-16	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Very pleased with htis hotel. Large clean rooms, comfortable beds, bathroom ok. Breakfast with the ususal stuff, nice pool and very friendly and attentive staff.The location is perfect, nice garden setting. Only a couple of minutes walk from shopping and restaurants, but still very quiet. 4-5 min. walk from beach. A family friendly hotel. Will go back.
JOHN BARRY MCGLOIN 2007-12-13 until 2007-12-17	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay We loved our stay at the Tipa in the Baanmai teak wood house on the hillside in the jungle environment. A warm welcome, with an accompanying glass of strawberry juice while we completed the paperwork, and then we were transported by electric buggy up the pathways to our secluded, well kept villa. Check the pictures on the Sawadee website – what you see is what you get – a couple of photos are also on my Picasa site http://www.picasaweb.google.com/barry.mcgloin under Nov/Dec 2007. What it can’t show you is the warm glow of enjoyment as you sip a cool drink on the veranda in the soft twilight while listening to the sounds of tropical birds, animals and insects. In the morning you walk down through the attractive gardens to the restaurant for a generous breakfast of choice to set you up for the day. Just outside the secluded Tipa, Thai commerce is in full swing, and a few minutes’ walk takes you to the beach where you can swim or board a boat to other picturesque destinations in the region. If you prefer to spend a day at the resort, the Tipa has an inviting blue pool with its limestone cliff backdrop, and the restaurant has a good lunch and dinner menu. A minor gripe here – the restaurant background music is exceptionally bland; I would prefer Thai folk, fusion or jazz, however it seems to be geared to the conservative palate. To conclude, the accommodation is immaculate, attractive and very convenient to Ao Nang and the main beach. The staff are professional, friendly and cheerful and the service is excellent. In fact the only problem we had was when we used a direct booking for accommodation which was not listed on the Sawadee web site.

We were extremely happy and satisfied with the entire hotel, very nice design, the reception - always smiling and helpful, the location, very clean rooms, beautiful tropical park, the staff - in particular the manager of the restaurant who took care of us so much every time we had breakfast... The only regret is that we came only once at night to have dinner...it was EXCELLENT and even cheaper as some restaurants outside!!! We higly recommend this hotel and we will come back...!!! Be aware that the hotel if you look at some maps seems to be not to close from the beach... which is wrong!!! It is 50m. from the beach opposite to Ao Nang Villa Resort.	Efficient as usually!!!

Improvements to be made to the breakfast provided. Bascially serving the same breakfast everyday. Other than this, everything was great.	Great service provided. No problems with my bookings at all.

Leong Peiying 2007-04-01 until 2007-04-03	Tipa Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Great reception upon arrival as compared to another hotel we stayed in earlier on. This is one of the better 3 star hotels there with car porch and big lobby compared to others. Quiet location, about 5 mins walking from the beach. If you want to grab something on the way back to your room, a big 7-11 store is just at the entrance to the resort Nothing to comment on service. About 30 mins from the airport. Room is of reasonable size for a standard room. Breakfast ok, not many varieties. Bascially serving the same food every morning. You can find thai food everywhere on the streets outside the resort if you explore. Adult pool is small, kids pool even smaller. Other than all these, the hotel and place is great. At the beach, lots of massage stands offering all kinds of massages for 200 bahts/hr. Lots of walkings, sun, and insects. Not a place to be if you are very particular about all these.	Great, fast and reliable. Will book through sawadee.com when i go to Thailand again in future

Tipa is very good located near all the shops and restaurants, despite this, resort is pretty secluded and quiet. Bungalows are kind of dark and simple, hard bed as always in Thailand, good a/c. Good restaurant, breakfast is buffé style but pretty simple. Supermarket is located just at the entrance. Never got around to check out the pool.	Very good, no problems!!

Our deluxe room had a great location near the reception and facing the pool, but our friends had a room in the back and they got really fed up with walking the stairs. The pool was very small and not so tempting. During our stay there were so many kids playing in the pool with water toys, that we didn t feel like going at all. Location could have been nearer to the main street and the beach. Service was okay. Breakfast was superb.	Excellent!

Pool had lovely views and was quite peaceful. Buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful. Location was ideal as close to beach, restaurants and bars. Would recommend!!	No problems - swift service. Would use on next Thailand trip.

Didn t really like the pool as the kids pool was below the adult pool (had to walk down some steps) so if i were in the upper deck pool would not be able to see my kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.	Extremely helpful. Great service! I would definitely go back to Sawadee for any hotel booking. I wanted to change my last night to another location and they helped me out every step of the way. Extremely patient even through my numerous changes of mind!

Hotel is very clean, meals and breakfast good. Most of the customers are scandinavian tourists, most with small kids. Therefor the pool-life wasn t so quiete as we had wanted.	Very good, always again.

Second time I have used this service and it works very well, no problems at all.

Kamers, Service, Medewerkers waren uitstekend. Ga zeker de trap op bij de Tiger Cave, kanoën in Thalang en met de longtail naar Railay. Denk erom Ao Nang is niet meer dan een lange straat langs zee; hartstikke gezellig, maar niet echt the place to be voor de party animals. We stayed in Tipa Resort in Ao Nang. Beautiful resort on a hill just around the corner of Ao Nang Beach. Rooms, Service, Employees were excellent. Climb for sure the stairs of the Tiger Cave, go canoying in Thalang and take the long tail to Railay. Think about that Ao Nang is not more than one very long street along the beach. We find it very cosy, but it´s not really the place to be for party animals.	Als Nederlander ben je wellicht huiverig om bij een onbekende website te boeken, maar laat mij je overtuigen. Sawadee is the best. Niet alleen tijdens het vlekkeloze boekingsproces, maar ook als je wat gebeurd onderweg staan ze direct voor je klaar. We hebben nu drie keer bij ze geboekt en vinden ze geweldig ! When you re from Holland (or another European country) you may find it tricky to book via an(maybe)unknown internetsite. Trust me: Sawadee is the best. Not only by there spotless booking process, but also when something happens overthere with you they are always willing to help. We have booked now three times with Sawadee and we think they are the best !

Polite and friendly staff who had a little problem understanding english, but everything worked out just fine with a little patience.... The hotel didnt deliver what it had promised to deliver and held us to ransom - knowing full well we couldnt go elsewhere at the last minute. They even messed us around with airport tranfers - leaving extra early merely so they could drop staff off on the way. Pretty ordinary hotel.	Excellent - will certainly use you again.

The Staff are Very Helpful and Friendly, the Rooms are Large, Clean and Comfortable. The hotel Restaurant serves a Buffet Breakfast Daily, Dinner at the Hotel was very good and cheap. A Great Resort and Good Value for Money.	The Sawadee.com booking service was very easy to use, for both the accommodation and transfers. Everything went very smoothly.

A couple of things however..we requested one large bed and were given two singles instead. They had no other rooms available for the first night. To their credit they pushed the beds together and made it up as a double which gave us one huge bed in the end. Also, their food at the restaurants, breakfast etc could be more vegetarian friendly.	No problems.
