McGlade 2008-11-01	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Clean, well maintained, hotel with nice pool and direct access to the beach. Good breakfasts (very wide selection in buffet) in restaurant on the beach. We had a wonderful stay in a semi-sea-view suite (upgraded as sea-view room not available). Building currently going on beside reception - noise may affect rooms nearby and could be heard from the pool.	Efficient.
Peter Hughes 2008-10-23	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We did a lot of research and reading reviews etc before choosing this resort. We were very happy with our choice. The location is great as it is close to town yet it s large grounds and the beach area make it separate. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy, the pool and it s area are great and we returned for lunch at the restaurant every day.

Very reasonably priced, the 2 bedroom suite was very spacious and modern, the staff was very friendly/helpful and the location was perfect. We were also very impressed with Ao Nang and Krabi as a whole - much more family oriented than Samui and Phuket, but yet with plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. The driver that we used was fantastic -he took very good care of us (Louis mobile phone 089-4690239).
Wong Phaik San 2008-08-06 until 2008-08-10	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Our rooms were upgraded to Luxury Villa Bungalow from Deluxe hotel due renovation. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and spacious even for triple sharing and the bathroom is very huge. The hotel has pre-arranged two complimentary cakes for two birthday celebrations on separate dates – Aug 6 & 8. When we checked with the front desk upon arrival, they have somehow forgotten about it. Surprisingly, they have managed to arrange it with a short notice but made a mistake of writing it as “Happy Honeymoon”. Perhaps it was due to a communication breakdown as we’ve noticed only one person in the front desk knows how to speak English. Anyhow, it was a good laughter to start our holiday. The air-con in our room was not adjustable. So it was freaking cold during the night. Even though there’s a construction of new blocks near our rooms we weren’t affected much with the noise. The selection of breakfast is overall good although they should use lesser salt. The location of the hotel is very easily accessible to shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. Despite of the blunder of the birthday cake, the service provided is good and with a smile always.	Very efficient and able to accommodate special requests

A quiet and lovely place; good service. My only complain : internet service is quite expensive !	Good, as usual
Anders Osterhaug 2008-07-05 until 2008-07-12	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We had the Deluxe bungalow, and found it to be great value. The bathroom is huge with separat shower and bathtub. The rest of the bungalow was very nice as well. Standard spread for the breakfast buffet, but perfect setting right on the beach. The lay-out of the hotel site is very nice, and the pool is big with plenty of shade. Beach not so great, but it is only about 15 mins with boat out to the nearest islands. 5 mins walk to the main bar/restaurant area of Ao Nang. This place is highly recomended!	No problem, even when I had to change the dates on short notice.

The entrance is on a main street where all the touristy activities are situated and yet the resort, sloping gently to the sea, was absolutely quiet. Looked far from being crowded during our stay, which maybe partly explained that overall impression of calmness .Nice a/c Deluxe bungalow with extra-large bed, neatly serviced . Staff at the reception desk were OK , but nothing more. Very pleasant swimming pool ( again , hardly anybody). Good breakfast choice and a real pleasure to have it on the outside tables by the sea. From the beach you can take taxi-boats to get you to other places . Entirely satisfied with this 3 days’ stay in that resort .	Excellent web site. Very helpful for your hotel choice . Rickard Rafstedt 2008-03-29 until 2008-04-03	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Vi kom med båt ifrån Phuket och fick checka in redan på förmiddagen. Hotelet ligger perfekt i mitten av Ao Nang beach. Hotelet har egen strand och promenerar man 5 min längs stranden så kommer man till Ao Nang shoppinggata samt uthyrning av Long Tailbåtar. Vi var 2 vuxna och 2 barn som delade på ett dubbelrum men extra bädd. Eftersom där även var en mindre soffa så kunde vårt mindre barn sova där. Rummet hade även en terrass ut mot poolen. Vi trivdes mycket bra och allting fungerade perfekt. Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta hotel.	Vi förbokade detta hemifrån och betalade in i förväg via internet vid 2 tillfällen. Allt fungerade perfekt. Vi fick en voucher som vi tog med och lämnade in på hotelet.

AN OLD HOTEL AND I DONT THINK THAT THEY HAVE EVER REPLACED THE BATH TOWELS,THESE WERE VERY WELL USED!!!! tHE SEA VIEW ROOM WE HAD WAS COMFORTABLE AND IN THE FRONT ROE 100M FROM THE BEACH. Staff not as frienly as we had found in other resorts. Not a great breakfast we did not try the RESTURANT, a far better selection out of the Hotel, in fact out the gate turn left and walk down the road over the bridge and right on the beach is a wonderful seafood rest. which is used by the locals grat food and good prices.	Great we had no problems with the service.
Lars Holm 2008-01-24 until 2008-01-30	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the service is excellent. We had some problems with the toilet in the bungalow the first day, and since it couldn´t be repaired immediately, we quickly were offered another room, which was a much more luxourios one. It was a highlight of our holiday! The breakfast is excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. You can easily reach Railey beach or the small islands in the area by long-tail boats or speed boats. We can strongly recommend this hotel, and will surely come back in the future!	Very good

When we arrived at 2 pm, they told us that the bungalow was not ready and upgraded us to a mountain view room. The room, located at the top floor, was fantastic! It was like staying on a tree house. The room was very spacious, lots of space to put our luggage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.	Very fast and efficient. I had to make some last minute changes due to the flight being rescheduled. They processed the changes very fast.
FL Lai 2007-12-06 until 2007-12-12	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach The night that we arrived, they said our suite was not available, and upgraded us to a Beach house that was really old and terrible with dirty tap water and dead cockroach. Luckily, we could move into our two bedroom suite proper the next day, and that was really luxurious, spacious, new and clean. Location was great, with private beach and near all amenities. Breakfast buffet was very good too. We stayed for total of 6 days and the kids had a great time.	Efficient!
Lorna 2007-11-25 until 2007-12-02	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We had a great holiday. We were surprised that the beach view bungalow we had booked was neither on the beach nor did it have a beach view. Our bungalow was very clean and this was maintained every day. We tended to have lunch in the resort each day, however chose to dine out at night as it was cheaper and there was more choice. We are missing it already!	The booking service was very efficient. I would definately book through sawadee again.
Lee Wai Meh 2007-11-25 until 2007-11-30	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We took one of the bungalows at Row A directly overlooking the beach. Quite spacious with a large king size bed so we did not need the extra bed for the child. The hotel seems to be a bit sticky with extra towels. Since we had a child in the room and we have already paid for the extra bed, we asked for 3 towels on the 1st day which they provided. When housekeeping came the following day, they replaced the 3 towels with 2. Pool towels were also inadequate. There were 2 occasions when they didn t have towels to give out. Although the bungalow surroundings were beautiful, there was an unpleasant smell. I think it was fertiliser. Other than those mentioned above, we had no complaints. The hotel staff, especially at the reception and restaurant, were extremely welcoming and pleasant. The location of the hotel was good....close to shopping areas and a very wide and good choice of restaurants and eateries. The beach was clean and swimmable although a little muddy.	Very efficient and simple.

Absolutely beautiful. Great space, flat screen TV s, massage right outside and 20 steps to the pool. Lucky because the cottages were under renovation but the whole resort is lovely, at the end of the town but a short walk to restaurants and bars. Would definately return.	Excellent as usual

People gently and friendly.A very big swimmingpool and also the season it was very good. Rain only 2 times in twelve days. Recomanded!!!	very serious, i usually when i com in asia.

In reality this is the one of the few hotels really on the beach.Also close to the town centre and the shops. Very friendly staff and very clean. Nice swimming pool and beautiful garden. We went in the low season and the price was excellent and also the weather. This is the original resort for Krabi beach and was built almost 40 years ago. The renovations being carried out at the moment will bring it back to its past glory.	Booking service excellent and we have used this many times without problems.
MS. Sumalee Songnikhom 2007-07-03 until 2007-07-18	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Excellent service. Satff members are very helpful and polite. The resort is located on the best location of Aonang Bay. You do not have to cross the road just to go to the beach because it is located direct to the beach. The surrounding are green and enjoyable. It is very quiet and you can really relax. Bungalows are very fine, some of them are under renovation. Swimming pool are big with the full facility. We will go back and stay here again.	Excellent as usual.
Richard 2007-05-04 until 2007-05-06	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach I can really recommend this hotel, it seems to be considered one of the nicer places to stay in Ao Nang. But if you are looking for a cheap back-packer style place it is not for you. More for a family or the person who prefer comfort and large rooms, proper toilets and showers, as well as hotel style room services and cleaning. The restaurant is located by the private hotel beach, which is small but gets larger as the water retracts in afternoon. The food is very good, as well as the included breakfast buffet. Of course I had great weather which adds to the experience, but it was one of the nicest places I have stayed at in Thailand so far...

The rooms Whas very good and pool was more than Ok. Location was excellent near to the shoppingstreets. Hotel restaurant was cheap and food was delicious. Me and my family will definately stay in Krabi resort again.	This is the 3 time i am booking trogh this website and i most say that i higly recommend to others to do the same,we have never ever had any problems at all.
kurtis rarick 2006-12-01 until 2006-12-04	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach location was superb. the room was very comfortable. the bathroom needs some attention, like the rusty water problem, but they were apparently working on that at the time. the site was very nice and everyone on the staff was patient, curteous, and fun to talk to. i would go back today if i could.	booking was helpful, kept me very informed during the reservation process.
Peter 2006-09-08 until 2006-09-11	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Krabi Resort features a beautiful, park-like setting. Lots of green and the bungalows are tastefully nestled in the lush garden. Very quiet yet close to the busy beach road. But the bungalows are badly in need of refurbishment. I stayed in Bungalow C2 and had several power failures every day. The problem was fairly speedily fixed upon calling the reception, but minutes later the power would fail again. The bathroom fixtures are old and rusty, as is the other features of the bungalows. If it wasn t for the bad shape of the rooms, this would be a very nice resort. Ao Nang beach is not suited for swimming and bathing, there s more slick than sand. The whole town is more for those guests, who undertake daytrips to the nearby islands or go scuba diving with one of the many operators.

If want to be right on the beach, this place is for you. Get one of those bungalows. Rate 8/10 BAD POINTS: We got bungalow A2 right on the beach. The room was very old and SMELLY (stale) like it hasn t been used for the past 6 months. The decor was ugly and tacky (bright cheap floral crap). The toilet had a very sewage smell like there s a leakage underneath... No tea/coffee facilities in the room so very inconvenient. Rate 5/10 STAFF: were OK, not many spoke English. When we asked for something and they said yes, but they conveniently forgot to bring your order etc. We had to go out of our way to get something, which was unacceptable.	Easy, to problem.

Pleasant staff very friendly when needed.Toilet made a few glugs during the night but seemed to clear at will.Breakfast was acceptable but a bit samey after 9 days.Disappointed and surprised no English TV news station, otherwise an enjoyable stay.	excellent, good comms. but had to wait around 24hrs for final confirmation.Not bad, but if you are on the move with no email facilities could be a problem to know whether booked or not.Otherwise, easy as pie

Mr Gareth Woods 2006-07-10 until 2006-07-15	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We stayed in a beach side bungalow- with air con, TV, all the usual conveniences- which was set in nice gardens. Good size pool and a long beach.Good service form resort staff. Buffet breakfast provided in resort restaurant. Menu not that good for eating in any other time of day. This is not a problem as there are many restaurants on the road in Ao Nang,a few minutes walk from the resort. Also lots of shops in easy walking distance. A 50 Baht ride on a little tuk-tuk type taxi will get you to a superb sea food restaurant just up the coast. In view of the shops and restaurants nearby this resort is a nice tropical retreat. It feels quiet and peaceful but is only minutes from the bustling little centre of Ao Nang.	First class hassle free booking.So easy, who needs travel agents?
Mr Gareth Woods 2006-07-10 until 2006-07-15	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach The resort is in easy walking distance of Ao Nang s lively street of shops and restaurants. There is Internet access in some of the shops. The resort itself is adequate with a large pool, a couple of little shops and a beach front. We went with our 5 year old daughter and it was ideal for her. The restaurant in the resort is OK for breakfast and may be for dinner the first night, but there are so many good eating places close by that you are better off going out for meals. The local sea food restaurants are a must.We had a beach front bungalow that was very nice, not luxurious but very adequate with a veranda to sit out on. Air con in the bungalow was a blessing at night. All the usual tourist type trips can be booked at the reception desk. We did elephant trekking which was a great experience. Very nice if you don t want somewhere too isolated.	Excellent booking service with no problems at all.

Hotel has a great location - really is the only one with direct access to the beach. Stayed at the 2 bedroom suite in the main building - nice and big. The place is starting to show its age though - ripe of revamp.	Fantastic.
Ms I Renvoize 2006-02-21 until 2006-03-07	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach You pay a premium price for the Krabi Resort but dont get a premium hotel,The rooms where not cleaned properly in the two weeks we were there, dirty marks on the mirror and the class doors, There was no tea or coffee in the room and when we asked for some all we got was a kettle and two cups and saucers. we will not be going back again very disapointed	very good

Ett lungt och trevligt ställe. Stranden är ej den renaste och bästa, men poolområdet, dit barnen gärna söker sig är fullt godkänd.Personalen, särskilt den i restaurangen, är mycket hjälpsam och kunnig. De ordnar allt för dig.Nära till bra strandrestauranger och shopping.	Easy to book and everything was as promised and expected.
Trygve Hagen 2006-01-19 until 2006-01-26	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach We were very uncertain when we ordered this hotel in Aonang - Krabi but we became surprised and very satisfied with the hotel. The hotel has the BEST position in AoNang with direct connection to the beach and to the long-tail boats. The hotel area is wide with a lot of buildings and bungalows, walkways and spaces. Adjacent to the beach it is a very nice restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner (if you want). Further, on the opposite side of the beach you can walk directly into the small city with the shopping markets and restaurants. The room was OK as a DeLuxe room, clean but not exclusive. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt to be taken care of.	Just perfect!
Ed V 2005-12-28 until 2006-01-01	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Hotel was nice. It is located at the north end of Ao Nang Beach. Although it has direct access to the beach front, not many peope used it. You will have to walk about 300-400m to where the majority of the people go to tan and swim. The long tail boats also park near this hotel. They spread out for most of the north section. Again about 3-400 m to the south is the better part of the beach where there are no boats spoiling the area. The hotel is easily accessible by the local tuk tuks. The facilities were nice, especially the pool. The room was nice and well maintained. There are many other hotel options in the area at various prices, but I was pleased with my time spent there. It was worth it. Recommended.	worked well. no problems.

It is right on the beach and has a lovely bar and restaurant area. Ao Nang village is right outside, but the resort is very peaceful (except for the long-tail noise of course). The beach is dominated by long-tails and the view is not as spectacular as other places in the area, but it s not bad. Neighbouring Railay Bay is much more beautiful, but you are stuck there at night with very little in the way of restaurants and bars and no shops. Staying at Krabi Resort and getting a long-tail round to Railay and Phra Nang beaches for the day is not a bad option.	Efficient and reliable. I did lots if booking through Sawadee and they never let me down.

The standard of the bungalow was rather poor in relation to the price. Old bathroom and lack of warm water in the shower. The food was very good.	Worked perfectly.

Especially the restaurant staff and the massage parlour stood out as very competent and nice people. We can wholehartedly recommend this place.	It worked as a clockwork.
John Griffiths 2004-08-06 until 2004-08-08	Krabi Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Stayed in bungalow without sea view (had a view of the back of another bungalow - not very attractive!!)Overall though a well located resort because it was right on the beach and close to the town centre. The room and the services quite disappointing. The room was very tired and in need of decoration, the AC was just about adequate, there was very little hot water, there were no dressing gowns provided, there was a charge for the in-room safe (although a free safe was provided by reception) and the bar closed very early.The staff were friendly and helpful however	As always very efficient. This was my 4th time with Sawadee.com.

Otherwise, I have no complaints and would recommend this resort to any of my friends. Thanks for everything. I hope to return to the Land of Smiles in the near future.
