Thomas Broström, sweden 2009-02-25	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang avoid the ground floor rooms they are old and smells bad, we changed our superior room from the ground floor to 3rd floor, that room was very nice!! even some seaview! breakfast was fair and not more. Location is super! The pool become dirty very fast so they hade too clean it often, but it worked well. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.	they missed that we didn´t need an xtra bed we payid for it, but the hotel informed us that we didnt need it because our children was to small for it. the hotelstaff called sawadee, and we get our money back, overall very god service

Linda 2009-01-10	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang It is the worst hotel which I ve been statyed in my life! The first room they gave to me there was no hot water at all! However, they kept on denying it and said it was hot water when I turned the shower on and let them check it! Eventually they agreed to change a new room with a tiny TV to me at 11:00Pm and later on I notice the room wall is very thin and I can hear my neighbour very clearly. Basically the staff attitude in this hotel is terrible and the room facility is terrible as well. Don t think I will never ever go back this hotel and won t recommand any of my friends to stay in this hotel neither.	Good.
Lee Foo Yeun 2008-11-23	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang the hotel location is great. very near to the breach. in addition, if you plan to go island hopping and diving, the long tail boat ticket service counter is very near to the hotel. it is on the left, less than 2 minites walk from hotel. the rental cost for the long tail boat full day is fixed at 2200 bath. it can accomodate up to 8 persons. it is a lot cheaper to buy the ticket from this counter than from travel agency. in addition, if you plan to go hat yai, buy the mini van ticket from the hotel front office travel desk. I got the cheapest price from the hotel. it cost me 300 bath one way from krabi to hay yai. all travel agencies nearby quoted me 400 to 450 bath.	Good. I am happy with the service

Yuki Chong 2008-08-13 until 2008-08-17	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang Great location about 5min walk to Ao Nang beach. Shops, restaurants, bars etc are easily accessible. The superior room is BIG enough for 3 person with a queen size bed, a single bed and a sofa bed (I wonder why they re still charging us extra for the 3rd person). Room is simple with basic necessities. Breakfast is OK but we had the same food everyday. Staffs are friendly and helpful with directions. Well...we ll definitely consider staying there again!	Fast and reliable. Always been using sawasdee.com for all my trips to Thailand.

They not have shown any interest to their customers. There was some confusion when we first arrived as to which Best Western had our reservation. They are within walking distance of each other. We left a piece of luggage prior to check in at the wrong hotel. However we were fortunate to have the manager Ms. Suchada identify the problem and quickly locate the missing item. She even had her driver take us and the luggage back to the right Best Western.

We booked 4 rooms and they were so bad we refused to stay! We had poor quality beds, views of the car park, the rooms smelt and were damp, the balcony was about 5 Sq feet and the furnture either rusty or mouldy.The rooms were full of mosquitos and even had a resident cockroach! Do yourselves a favour avoid this hotel it really is the worst and dirtiest example we have ever come across!	booking all smooth and simple, lets see if they sort the complaint!
Tan 2007-04-01 until 2007-04-04	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang Friendly staff. Service with a smile. Rooms are a little run down. Poolside massage! P/s: Not all rooms are poolside/seaview as claimed by the website. The one we got was facing the carpark. 1) Booked for a standard room, but got a FREE upgrade to a family room with 2 huge beds. (Nice??? Read on...) 2) Room was probably left unused for a long period of time, coz it was infested with mosquitoes. Commando mosquitoes! Despite burning a full pack of mosquito repellent coils (at least 2 daily), we returned with at least 10 souvenior bites each. Besides the location of the room/mosquitoes, the room is pretty decent. 3) Breakfast was a little below expectations. Don t expect a big spread. Eggs and sausages are probably your best bet there. The rest are about 3/10. 4) Seats at the dining area are readily available and right next to the pool. (That s what we like about this hotel) 5) If you are planning for some island trips (e.g. Phi Phi), go across the road from the hotel, there s a small shop named Alan Travel . Look out for a very friendly middle-age lady. Genuinely helpful, doesn t fleece you at all! Even helped us sourced for another tuk-tuk, when the one we flagged down ourselves overcharge us. Overall rating: 6/10	Excellent! No problems at all. Will give Sawadee ***** (5 stars!) Besides, which web reservation site asks for your comments after your trip? Will definitely use Sawadee again!
James Lombardi 2007-03-27 until 2007-03-30	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang a little disappointing, but not too bad. the lobby, grounds and pool area are nice, but the rooms are a little suspect. we actually had to move rooms. in our first room the AC only cooled one area of the room and took all night to cool the entire room. the TV was also very fuzzy. our second room was much better. overall it was okay, but i expected a little more.	fast and reliable, a great service

We had booked a familyroom, but we got 2 rooms instead. No explanation or nothing at all. Nobody told us that we could not have the rooms before 14.00. We will not go back to that hotel again.	Perfect, but we did not get the right room that we had booked.

Highly recommended! Note: There are 2 Best Westerns in Ao Nang - we were at the further one up the hill, not the one on Main Street , which may be noisier. All-in-all, 4.5 stars at $75/night.	I booked on the internet for the 1st time, and this was a great experience! Timely feedback on all monetary transactions and emails. I was truly impressed, and wish everyone did business like this.
Patricia Lee 2007-01-22 until 2007-01-29	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang It was high tourist season when we were in Phuket and stayed at BW BAN Restort. The Resort offers an excellent convenient location, being in the centre of shopping, eating and leisure activities. However, if one has problem with steps, this is a NO NO hotel. The main entrance to the hotel is a flight of steps. So are access to different parts of the hotel - breakfast is by the swimming pool and that s on a different floor! This is because BW BAN Resort is situated on a hill slope. We booked 2 rooms and were allocated them on 2 different floors. I would have thought that they would have put us next to each other as it was one booking made for 2 rooms. But, we were told that the hotel was full and that we did not make a request for it. We asked to be moved to be next to each other during our week long stay with them. Alas, that did not happen though we saw people checking out/in from the rooms on our floor. But, the reception staff was adamant that everything was pre-arranged and could not be changed. The Thais are noted for their friendliness and smile. The reception staff here are not unfriendly. But, neither are they friendly. One of the girls was surly, and during the 7 days I was there I have not seen her smiling. The exception is a male staff who doubled up as a bell boy. He was good in opening and closing the back gate for our hired car. No easy parking here as it is a busy street-front hotel without a parking lot with security (like most resort hotels). Each time we came back after 7pm (ie our dinner out), one of us had to go to the reception and request for the gate to be opened and which we later showed our appreciation with a tip. One of the two rooms we were allocated in the deluxe wing, was at the end of the top-most (third) floor. I stayed in this room and noted the rumbling airconditioner hanging over my head/bed. One evening, I heard lots of noises in the ceiling and concluded that rats were at play. The room is spacious but one of the cupboards stank of urine. The bathroom is fair. Breakfast was an assortment of Thai and Western. Being peak season, it was always full of people queing up for food. One morning, the kitchen ran out of butter. The kitchen staff worked hard to ensure a good turnaround of cutlery. Perhaps, the overall service of the hotel can be improved if it is not so busy and attention is given to maintenance.	Excellent. Prompt in processing. Will recommend use. If any improvement is required, perhaps a prompting feature whether rooms (if more than one)booked should be next to each other.

Good location, close to the main street but still quite .The compulsory Christmas gala dinner was not worth the money, the show was poor.	The pick-up service did not work. We had to call the Hotel upon the arrival, and a pick-up arrived after 30min. The internet Booking service is excellent
Temora Maclean 2004-12-24 until 2005-01-01	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang Wouldn t recommend this one. Have stayed in many places in Thailand and was least impressed by the staff in this one. The manager too is quite surly and indifferent. The hotel is ok - nothing special, a bit like the breakfasts, but not nearly as awful as what passes as entertainment - the singing duo almost had us howling both with pain and with laughter. There re far better places out there.	EXCELLENT.
Antonio Galasso 2004-12-22 until 2004-12-26	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang The location of this Hotel is very close to the main sea front, plenty of places to eat and shop. We stayed in a room overlooking the pool, it was quite spacious and pleasant, the staff, although quite young worked very hard at making the guests feel at home. The breakfast is bland and not good value, always the same and rather boring. My wife and I were overall pleased with our stay at this Hotel, a reasonable value for money. PS. Our checkout was on the tragic day of the tsunami, during the initial waves and panic the Hotel Manager did a good job in calming everyone down, he gave us information of what was happening. We will never forget that day!	Very good and professional, thank you.

We manage to get a room facing the pool and it was a fantastic view. The room is big and clean. The location is good too and definitely we will go back to Ban Ao Nang if we return to Krabi.

It is in the center of Ao Nang but at the same time a very quiet place. It has all the services you need for a stay at the beach. Gemma and adam - croydon 2004-11-18 until 2004-11-23	Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort, Ao Nang nice hotel. did request deluxe rooms but sure we had basic rooms, but it was a nice room clean with double bed and a single! balcony a little small. staff not that helpful as dont speak that good english, breakfast was a bit basic compared to our other hotels in phuket and phi phi. was in a good location for shops, restaurants, bus service. pool was clean. not my best hotel of the holiday but not a bad place.	no booking problems all straight forward, check in no problem great web site very helpful

If you had any problems, they solved it at once. If you needed help with anything, they helped you. Perfect situated. 3 minutes walk to the longtailboats, restaurants and shopping. We will definitly choose this hotel again next time!	OK, but when we wanted to change flightno for our pickup service it took almost 2 weeks before they confirmed it, but it didn t work anyway. The hotel fixed that for us when we left the hotel instead.

It s only 5 minutes walk to the beach, very convenient. Lots of massage services just outside the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My flight back to Singapore was 19:20, and the GM was kind enough to allow me for late check out @ 16:00, without needing me to request for it. I m so glad for the kind consideration of the GM. Thanks for that. The only complain is that, I ve ordered lunch in the hotel, but it took quite a long time for them to serve, never mind, but the food was not hot. It s just warm. I hope it will improve when I go there again next year in January.	It is fast. The reply to my queries are prompt too.
