Brett Stevens April 2008	Ao Nang Sunset Hotel, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach This hotel suited us perfectly. We booked 2 adjoining rooms and a third double room. The double room that was not connected was massive. The biggest room we had anywhere on our stay. The adjoining rooms were small by comparison but having said that were actually normal sized hotel rooms, was just that the other rooms was very big. They all had their own private balcony - also good - need somewhere to hand the wet togs. We were not on the pool side of the hotel. Those rooms woulod have a nice view over the bay - but ours were fine. Do not stay here for the pool, very small - not a good outlook and the chlorine was full on. The breakfast content was as you find in Thailand - however was full buffett so you could eat as much as you liked. The bees that other people mention were not an issue - I liked seeing them, and they stayed pretty much near the bar - except the few that made their way into the jam!!! Good spot - really close to the front strip as would everything be in AoNang. Not noisy - no one hassles you outside of the place. The front desk arranged forward travel for us. All was good. P. Schmid 2008-10-16	Ao Nang Sunset Hotel, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Convenient location, yet relatively quiet because it is not located in the main street. It is only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The room furniture is quite unique. Breakfast is relatively unimaginative, but plentiful. The staff were efficient and very helpful. A nice relaxing place to stay. Very good value for the price. Would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a clean, quiet, comfortable, inexpensive hotel.	Have booked accomodation online many times, yet always at least a week prior to departure. This trip was, literally, a last minute decision. Booked online 12 hours before my flight to Ao Nang. Well short of the 24-48 hours processing time mentioned. Arrived at hotel with only a booking number. Absolutely no problems. All handled efficiently and quickly.

I was freindly. That s what I got in return. Everyone went ouit of their way to help me. Could not give sa higher recommendation. THEY WERE GREAT	NO PROBLEMS, MeVERYTHING WAS AS i EXPECTED.
Sarah Higson 2008-10-13	Ao Nang Sunset Hotel, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Fantastic hotel, friendly staff. Clean, basic room. Good value for money. It has everything you may need and is only a few minutes walk away from the beach. Very close to a variety of shops and restaurants in a great area of Ao Nang. You are able to book excursions through the hotel aswell. I couldn t fault it, stopped in a number of hotels in Thailand and I doubt you could find somewhere nicer for your money.

Friendly staff, they really liked children. Breakfast ok. Massage was good.The pool was not so big, and too deep for a child.	No problems!

KAM WAI KIEW 2008-08-19	Ao Nang Sunset Hotel, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach highly recommended with it price value for ur money, good hotel, nice and clean room , well breakfast and great location, close to the main street and beach, close to the airport bus station and food centre. small swimming pool?? the ocean and the island nearby is more attractive than hotel pool, i think.. small pool is well enough for ur leisure when u not going out.. we stayed 3 days 2 nites here and certainly will come back next time..	booking is smooth and easy, bank transfer can be used if no credit card, but it made up little more expensive due to bank charges and currency exchange.. but i m not happy was no respond when i cant used credit card and ask for more infor and help on bank transfer.. but it was well respond when i done the bank transfer.. if u dont mind, this is a useful and reliable cite to book ur hotels in thailand.

Just few minutes walk you can find a lot of stalls, restaurants and hotels. We take 5 min walk to Ao Nang Beach, take 5 min walk to Ao Nang Resort to waiting for Airport Bus and 15 min to walk to another further up beach. So, this hotel is consider value and convinient. The hotel service and room is as normal 3 star hotel. We are no much comment on hotel service because we pay for the lower price and able to stay at the good location place, then we consider it is ok.	It is trustable to booking thru online by using this sawadee. This is my 1st time to use the online booking. I pay full payment thru the website. I so worry later arrive there not able to check in and tell me so many stories. But, at the end, all my worries are gone because when i reached the hotel, I just show them the confirmation of my payment and the check in procedure only take 10min to finish. Quite satisfy with the online booking service.

It is well worth every baht that you paid.	Sawadee has provided a very good service and has provided very good recommendations.

We travelled around in Thailand and this was our 5th hotel to overnight in. Clean and very fresh rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was good, both thai and english breakfast, and very nice staff. Very close to all shopping. Great balcony with a great view over the sea (4 floor).	No problems at all, every booking was working perfekt!

Breakfast buffet was not good, so just skip that. For the price... very recomendable. Have breakfast at oceanfront Krabi Resort across the street. Oceanfront and truly lovely.

Clean, tidy, and most of all, it s really affordable. Easy access to all the shopping area. I rent a motorcycle just in front of the hotel the first day I arrived. Took a trip by motor & explore the nearby area. It provides easy booking to tour around Krabi. Service was nice and friendly. We are definitely will choose Ao Nang Sunset for our next trip to Krabi.	Reliable and trusted agency and fast service. They do it all for you as your request. It s well arranged and even better than my tour agency back in my country. Considering I haven t meet the sawadee team.

The hotel was located in a great location, less than 5 minutes walk to the main beach. Little contact with staff. It is recommended that you do your laundry outside the hotel. Hotel laundry service charge per item where as along the streets will cost you apprx 60 baht per 1kg.
Chevalier 2007-03-08 until 2007-03-15	Ao Nang Sunset Hotel, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Chambre spacieuse,bien équipée,petit balcon agéable mais hotel très sonore la nuit.Nombreuses allées et venues à partir de minuit;fréquentes altercations entre certains clients ramenant des filles...un problème de TVA sans doute!!!On en oublie la présence du stadium de boxe thai.Le ménage de la chambre a été zappé 4 fois. Je ne recommande pas cet hotel sauf si vous recherchez un hotel de jour.	Very good ,excellent,sérieux,rapide.

The airco can be very loud, but there are fans too. Service is oke. Great breakfast-buffet. The swimmingpool is rather small, and very cool too. And there are only 6 lazy chairs around the swimmingpool.	No problems, quick answer

We were a bit disappointed when we understood that it also was used buy tour-operato TIU for scandinavian charter-tourists. Ao Nang is too much touristic for our taste but as told above, the hotel is very good, nice and friendly staff and the restaurant offers nice meals to good prices. Unfriendly and out to extract as much money as possible from the punters. A faceless hotel with no character. A hotel for familys only, definitely not for singles - don t even think of taking a friend back, they make you feel like a criminal and charge 500 baht per visit. Make sure you check the contents of your room on arrival, they will try to charge you for missing items that they forgot to give you in the first place e.g. bath towels x 2. Get fit before you go, the entrance path is at least 30 degrees steep !!	Good service - no problems here.
