Me Her and a Brat (3 yearold) 2008-09-13	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay Nice hotel. room recently refurbished (building3) top floor with sea view and pool view. If you book make sure you dont get a low floor in building 3 as the view will be ZERO due to perimiter garden & wall. Hotel is in a great place and just 300mtr from the beach away from the main road and the noise. Easy to get everywhere and the hotel staff were GREAT. Nice pool 1.4mtr max,plus kiddies pool. Ideal hotel to chill out in. Also has WIFI in all rooms, but not all the staff aware of that fact, you need to by a password from reception from 100baht for 60 min or 250 for 24hour, the 24hour one clocks starts on first login, the 100 counts down only when logged in. The PC s by the front desk are next to useless so if you need internet access bring your owwn laptop. OVERALL A GENERALY NICE HOTEL FOR THE MONEY.	Great & Easy service, will use again.

Pool area was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Hotel was 10 minutes walk from the beach.

The shower... yes, put the shower curtain in the right position and inside the tub, otherwise it will flood the bathroom. Nice personell and very friendly, for advise (where to go, taxi, transfer or hotel advise to e.q. kho phiphi ask the manager) the manager/owner is allways there in the day time, and she s very kind to help you! She will tell you the local prices for transfer, boat prices etc.. so, you don t have to pay the tourist price!	GOOD!
PETACHTARIDI ARIADNI 2008-07-29 until 2008-08-02	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay The hotel was very nice. It was few minutes from the sea. The room was nice and clean. The employees of the hotel were very helpful. The breakfast was nice but not so rich. I believe that happened because it was low season and the hotel was not full functional.	The booking service was excellent. I will recommend to my friends.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I was there during low season, so the hotel was kind of empty, and the breakfast not so good. Would stay here again.	Everything worked perfect, as allways.

Both this site as the hotel are very good!! We stayed for only 3 nights in Krabi, but this hotel was a nice, quiet place to stay and the people were very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were good and clean and the bathroom had a nice big bathtub. Only the showercurtain was to little, so after every shower the bathroom was like a swimmingpool, but that s the only minor i can think of. The food and drinks served were good quality at reasonable prices. The hotel is in a walkingdistance of about 10 minutes from the beach and most of the bars / restaurants. For those who don t want to walk there are allways tuk tuks / taxi s available at low costs. Overall: We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. If we ever go back to Krabi then this is the place we are going to stay.	Excellent, efficient service. Booked on the internet. Within 10 minutes i had an e-mail and a textmessage on my cellphone to confirm both reservation and payment !!

Our deluxe room was nice, clean and spacious. Bathroom had a nice bathtub, but unfortunately a to small showercurtain, so after each shower the bathroom looked like a swimmingpool. Staff were very friendly and helpfull in any way. Breakfast was very good!! Drinks and food at the pool at reasonable prices. Hotel is not to far ( +/- 10 min walk ) away from the boulevard and the bars / restaurants. Taxi s / tuk tuks at low cost available on the street. If we ever go to Krabi again i m sure we will stay here again !!	Very good and efficient !! Booking trough internet is very simple. Within 10 minutes we had received an e-mail as well as a textmessage to confirm our reservation and payment ! Top quality service !!
ROCHAIS 2008-04-15 until 2008-04-19	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay We stayed 4 nigths with my wife and my two little sons. Everything was OK. Staff very nice and friendly. We have booked a superior room but we were ugraded in a deluxe room for free. Second part of april is the end of the high season so the hotel was 50% full. No problem to have a chair near the swimmimg pool at anytme of the day. The hotel is clean and realy nice co;pare to other hotel so;eti;es more expansive in ao nang. A good choice. But room on the road can be loud and staff rooms are underneath those rooms, too - request room not on main road. Standard room came with double bed and twin bed, also. Nice touch, as we had a kid and couldn t afford the extra bed - sweet! Most importantly, i recommend the tour booth called NEMO on the corner across from the mini mart. she had the lowest prices on every tour, including laundry. and she was just plain nice. Staff were very attentive and the location was excellent - the suite was huge and well appointed - the new bathroom was great however if you are above average height the shower will not suit. I thought the air con struggled with the size of the rooms - the balcony doors having a 20cm gap probable did not help when the late afternoon sun was belting in.Over all a good value for money property and l have no problem recommending the Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort.. Location was about a 10 min walk to the nicer beach and 5 mins from the main thoroughfare. Service was ok but staff had difficulty understanding english at times. Overall a good hotel for the price but would probably stay at a hotel closer to the central area next tims as this was set off the main road.	Good, efficient.

I would recommend this hotel as it is not to far from the beach but away from all teh busyness	Used 5 times on my holiday for the first time and it looked dodge but turned out to be real cheap and reall professional with everything booked well ahead of the date Thank you SAWADEE.com!

The landlady is helpful and speaks very good english. The hotel is clean and in good condition. Very nice breakfast buffet. We stayed 2+2 in their best room and we didn t feel crowded in the room.

My requests were almost immediately attended to and my trips to the islands were arranged with a reliable agency. The deluxe room was nicely decorated & spacious enough for my family of 3. The reception staff are pleasant and readily assist us in many ways. Hope to be back soon to visit the beautiful islands in Krabi. Thanks a lot for the memories!!!	Simple and reliable. Fast response and easy to use. Will definitely book through this service again.

The price for the rooms is a bit too expensive in my opinion. Recommend the hotel anyways.	Excellent

Only down side is the lack of sunbeds round a smaller than anticipated pool. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were a good size and overall we were very happy...:o)	problem free

Balcony area good, although not much of a view. Pool area well maintained. Staff courteous. Breakfast adequate, but limited daily choice. Location just of the beach road - 10 minute walk to central beach area. Easy access to local buses and boats. Good base for exploring. Plenty of choice restaurant wise - local food very good value, and very tasty - try the mango pancakes from the local stalls. if you like a drink, plenty of bars, but beware the Chang beer - extremely tasty and cheap, but lethal after too much sun!	Very easy to book and pay online. No problems on arrival at hotel.
Jeanette 2007-08-01 until 2007-08-11	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel.We found the Thai decor wonderful we had a deluxe sea view room which was clean and a wonderful view everything was to our satisfaction.It was in a quiet street and about 200 meteres from the beach .The only negative was the gym it is non existent they did say that they were getting new equipment but it seems that the room had not been used for ages.We took advantage of the Sawadee Spa and found the treatments excellent of course dearer than the streets but well worth the convenience of the hotel. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly if you are looking for genuine Thai hospitality then we would recommend this hotel.We were there only a few days and the cleaning staff put orchids in our room which added just that extra touch making us feel very welcome.This hotel does not have lifts so if you are unable to climb stairs get a ground floor room.	We found them excellent. The hotel we had booked wanted to change our booking at the last minute.Sawadee found us another hotel and provided new vouchers at the last minute with a minimum of fuss.Wonderful courteous service.We had also booked a taxi to pick us up and they even changed that and all arrangements went smoothly

Our four year old son thoroughly enjoyed the place - safe, clean and comfortable. A welcome few days break from the bustle of Singapore	First Class! Even when our flight times were changed by the airline a couple of weeks after we booked the car and driver were waiting at the airport to meet us. My email to Sawadee advising them of the flight time change was acknowledged and acted upon. A big thank you!

We travelled with two elderely people and they changed our rooms to ground floor without any problems. Bathrooms flooded a bit but we got over that. Pool nice and clean, staff very friendly. Breakfasts lovely. Would stay there again without hesitation.	As a first time user, I was hesitant, but there was no need to be. Thanks, excellent service.

Room nice, staff very helpfull, good english, especially the lady (i think manager), she let me buy electric kettle for coffemaking for my stay next in phuket for a good price 500 bath, brand new. Pool area perfect, very nice poolstaff, the man who manage poolbar take very good care off people, even hotel not booked very much. For sure I will stay agin in best western ao nang bay resort if i come to krabi again.	Very good and proffesional. Use sawadeecom before i come thailand and during my stay, perfect.

Though it was only a short stay, I felt totally rejuvenated. The two standard rooms that I had booked was upgraded unconditionally to the deluxe garden category.Thanks to the great receptionists and warm-hearted staffs. I would certainly return to the resort on my next trip. In-room amenities are splendid in terms of cleanliness,layout and comfort. Overall the staffs are very service oriented with no language barrier.	It has been very kind of the reservation staff, Ms Bee to assist me throughout my booking despite the fact that I had to change resort at the last minute. Ms Bee has exercised her utmost ability to help me liaise with the various resorts. A great thanks to her.
Nick York 2007-04-17 until 2007-04-20	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay Stayed here twice on recent trip to Thailand. First time in a standard room in high season. Room was good and service and Breakfast ok. Returned just under two weeks later out of season. Was told we could upgrade our room for free. Decided to pay for superior and upgrade to deluxe. Deluxe room was probably smaller and worse than standard! Asked to be moved to a Superior room at standard rate. Upon check out, was presented with a bill for Deluxe room! When I explained what happened I was met with a number of excuses from, You were were just moved to a different Deluxe room to The deal you were actually offered is not valid for another week . Even though the note explaining the deal was dated 13/4/07, a week before I arrived! This resulted in a ten minute argument and I was told to come back in a few hours. When I returned they told me I would be charged for the standard room. All in all, the hotel is pleasant enough, my main gripe is for such a large hotel chain, the staff are quite rude. This may be down to the fact that they comprise of mainly kids. Can quite safely say I will NOT be going back

Ask for Villa 100 a lovely room overlooking the pool. The hotel is tired and needs some redecorating, but is priced accordingly. A very good breakfast, lovely pool, friendly staff and a quick walk to the beach and restaurants.	Fast and efficient

MAURO and ALESSANDRA 2007-03-08 until 2007-03-12	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay The hotel was so so. We chose a luxury room that was very expensive if we consider the hotel service: 1. Breakfast and restaurant area very lazy. Each morning we should ask for some honey and they gave us honey with water(!?!). We had to complain to have the real honey, finally. But for one girl of the staff it seemed a very tough work and she was not so kind for this! 2. The little Gym area had the most of machines not working (they told us they were broken!) 3. The staff not speaking good English. 4. There was no socket for the shaver and the hairdrayer in the bathroom 5. Before to leave we had some questions and ask to the hotel by e-mail twice but we didn t receive any answer! 6. The swimming pool and the staff there were nice and we enjoyed them. Anyway, we didn t come back in this hotel. Qulity price not acceptable! We were to visit the other Best Western (Ba Aonang) and it looked so much better but we didn t live there. We understood was a different management.	Very good!

Breakfast sometime run out of bread etc, and that s not good enough. I would rate this hotel as a 3 star resort. Staff is friendly. But I would choose another resort on my next trip to AnNang. Alot of Scandinavian at this resort, It s used og Apollo and Detour.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was comfortable enough, though not exactly the deluxe room I was expecting. It seems that deluxe just means it s a bit bigger than the other rooms and has a seaview. Issues - The shower is in the bath, is quite low, and needs a better shower curtain. The room lights were very bright. Breakfast selection could have been a little better, and the breakfast room could do with a bit more space. Overall, it s a good place to stay but too expensive I felt, though we were there during the peak season.	Very good. Easy booking, and helpful in finding a room when availability seemed low.

The hotel location is also quite good, just meters from Aonang Beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful, overall the stay was very enjoyable.

We stayed for 6 nights in the standard room which was a quite a good size. No additional charges for my daughter. 5-10min easy walk to Ao Nang beach, restaurants and shops.	This is my 3rd time using the service and service was excellent as in the previous bookings

My mother in law have difficulties walking in stairs so I asked if she could have a romm on the first floor,no problems.They asked if we others would like to have rooms with seaview!!.The rooms was execellent.The cleaning as well. The hotell is rather big but the family feeling is genuine. We talked much wiht the Mama Hotel (the owner) and she helped us a lot with questions we had. No problems at all! The Hotel is vera nice placed in Ao Nang and it´s just a few minutes walk down to the center. We did have to take the tuk-tuk a few times because of the weather(there on the rainy season)the tuk-tuk takes about 2-3 minutes down to the center and the cost its just about 20 bath. We have just good to say about the hotel and strongly recommmend it.We are going back in 2008.	The booking went all well.No problems with that.We had some questions and I mailed them one time and got the answer very soon back so that not a problem to have to wait for answers.

The suite so great that have a bath tub on the balcony. we are really enjoy in B.W Ao Nang,also the staffs are helpful and nice, btw, the ABF more choice that would be perfect.	very prompt and good access for, also the price is reasonable.

There is no 24hrs room service but the resort do provide a healthly breakfast spread..... Hope that sawadee.com could update such info into their website so as not to mislead and cause unneccessary inconvenience when checking into the room.	fast and efficient. A 10 minute walk to the beach front. The staff were very friendly but overall we were slightly diappointed by the poor breakfast and lack of attention to details, such as a dirty bathroom. Our driver from the hotel was at Phuket airport waiting and the hotel exceeded all expectations we had. We had a room on the first floor in the building with a great view over the pool. Very comfortable room with a great shower. The springs in our mattress we found on the first night was a bit shot and by the time we came back the next day they had replaced it without any need to ask twice. Was very impressed. Great pool and jaccuzi with always space on the decks by the pool. 5 minute walk to the beach but away from the noise. Perfect hotel in out favourite area in Thailand. We can t say too much about the hotel or the area.... perfect honeymoon destination that will leave treasured memories.	Excellent. They phoned the hotel for me the day before my arrival to get the pickup. Great service thanks.
CS LIM 2005-12-12 until 2005-12-14	Best Western Ao Nang Bay Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Bay I stayed in the Deluxe room during my 2 nights stay there. I must say that we were really satisfied with the room. Nice, new, clean and fully furnished rooms. The furnitures are reasonably new but not the best. The deluxe rooms are big and comfortable with Aircon, balcony and the bathtub is big enough for 2 people. The whole resort is generally very new and the swimming pool looks really nice too. Location wise, it is about 200metres walk to the central Aonang Beach where all the travel agents, shops, massageparlours and restaurants are. For me, it is a good distance, especially for strolls after an heavy dinner. At Aonang area, apart from the beach, you need to take taxi or motorbike wagons if you want to go anywhere other than the beach. So you must at least stay within walking distance to the beach. We only tried the complimentary breakfast and what you would expect is American Breakfast which means the variety is not so much...simple food. Overall, we are really happy that we chose this hotel. Everything is nice and good for us. The price is also very reasonable for the what they offer. I would recommend this hotel to my mates and of course, will be pleased to revisit it.	good.

There is a jacuzzi above the main pool with powerful jets which provide a good back massage, though the best place to go for a massage is the spa at the hotel. It is more expensive than the massages offered on the beach, but well worth it. The staff are friendly and the food is OK (though more pricy than in the town), and the hotel is located within 10 minutes walk of the main beach and facilities.	Very efficient with no problems whatsoever.

We spent some very nice days in Krabi, and enjoyed our stay very much. We will surely recomand this hotel in Krabi. The hotelmanager was very helpful and nice. The rooms was very good, and also the servise.	We booked via krabi.com, and everything was just fine. We recieved our voutcher by e-mail, and presented that when we booked in to the hotel, and got our rooms as requested. We even were upgraded to a better room standard without paying for it.
