Somjit Gitlits 2007-04-09 until 2007-04-12	Nan Valley Hotel & Resort, Nan This was the worst place we have ever booked within Thailand (and we have been through a lot of resorts/ hotels in the Kingdom). In fact, the resort is so bad we moved to another one without spending any time there. The room we got was a deluxe and when we checked in not a single guest was at the resort. The room was literally covered with dust and was impossible to breathe in without sneazing. Upon making a complaint to the staff, instead of upgrading us to a better room or similar one, we were downgraded to a standard room which was not exactly dust-free either. At that point we went for a drive and found a better hotel at half the price. The staff were not helpful/ friendly either. Avoid this resort - no one stays there, it s rundown and overpriced.	Sawasdee staff were helpful and offered a refund for 2 nights out of 3 which was reasonable.
Dieter Rathmann 2007-02-07 until 2007-02-09	Nan Valley Hotel & Resort, Nan Place for nature lovers, very very quiet and 20 minutes from Nan city on the West side of the road (lights can be seen at night). Maybe not ideal for exploring the city and its temples. Since there are very few guests (visit early February) choices for the menu are limited. Not much to do in the premises. Basic comfort in the rooms.	Verz good.
