Imm Hotel Thaphae Chiang Mai is well suited to the needs of business people, because its prime location in the heart of the city, and is an excellent choice for leisure traveler, looking for a place to relaxation and unwind in a comfortable. The hotel provides accommodation in a strategic location. Guests stay at our hotel is easy access to Chiang Mai's old walled city, Thaphae Gate. From the center of trading in the old days, Thaphae Gate is the area that has become the heart of Chiang Mai's activities and festivals, the popular Flower Carnival in Feb., Songkran Festival in Apr. and Loy Krathong Festival in Nov. Visitors can also find a variety of goods on Thaphae walking street every Sunday evening, ranging from local handicraft products to portrait paintings. There is no wondering why Imm Hotel Thaphae is an ideal haven among the city's entertainment scenes throughout the year.
" Very well located. Clean and spacious room.
They provide a washer and drier at the top floor, which was very convenient. It costs 50 bath to use the washer and 60 bath for the drier (you have to use 10 baht coins to insert in the machines). You can play ping-pong at the same place while you wait for your laundry.
Wi-fi at the room was good, but you have to keep login in several times. You also have to ask the front desk for the login and password which keeps being changed every 6 hours or so.
The breakfast buffet was ok, but they offer more options for what locals usually eat (a whole meal like lunch or dinner such as salad, rice, boiled rice soup etc).
We were a couple and booked as such, but our room had two single beds put together. Not very comfortable.
No elevator, as most Thai hotels. "
