Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan I stayed in room 805 for 5 nights in early November and my first impression was wow! I really can t fault the hotel or the staff, it was everything I expected, and more. Spotlessly cleaned daily, friendly attentive staff, a very good breakfast selection, didn t use the pool but it looked lovely, will recommend it highly. |
Straightforward and simple, as usual. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Very nice suite(main building). Breakfast ok but the bacon had spent too long time in frying pan. The bread was according normal european standard lousy. May be they cannot bake in this part of the country. They can in Bangkok. The rest of the breakfst was ok. Nice and friendly personnel. if you are going to the hairdresser opposit the entrance, ask for the prize before, otherwise you will be cheated. |
very good. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Very friendly staff, an air company had lost our luggage, and they called every day asking if they had founded. The room was clean, the breakfast wasnt much different food. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Absolutely beautiful location, wonderful, friendly, attentive staff who were always willing to help when they could. The restaurant is a fantastic place to go for a sunset dinner or drink. We got a free upgrade to a suite which was gorgous, the only problem was that the lighting was very poor of a night time, very hard to get ready to go out hair, make-up etc. We used the torch for extra light at these times. The resort is located very close to the main pier so just a 5 min walk gets you to town. We would highly reccomend this resort to honeymooners, families and couples. Not really ideal for partying singles as it is very quiet and peaceful, a place to relax but still close enough to town and all other amenities. Loved it!!! |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan A nice hotel with a small but lovely and private pool on the 3rd floor of the main building. I stayed in the main building-which was beautiful-so I cannot comment on the terrace rooms. The breakfast was good. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and fresh. There is free internet access in the lobby with comfortable seating, and you can use your own laptop or the hotel s computers to go online. My only gripe is that the laundry service was way too expensive. I paid nearly 1000 baht to launder a bag of clothes that would have cost no more than 250 baht at an outside laundry service. I will be writing the management about the unfair pricing for laundry service as it left a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise very pleasant stay. |
Very good. I ve used Sawadee.com for all my hotel bookings in thailand over the last several years. Never a problem and always low prices and good service. I highly recommend Sawadee.com. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan The hotel is obviously refurbishing the room and try to upgrade but the first you walk in the room, it s stink. Bathroom is very small and sink is even small. I don t understand why the bathtub is in the living area. It turn out that they convert the apartment building to be a hotel. Beside that everything fine and just 5 minute walk to Night Bazaar. |
Sawadee is the best service and the best deal you ever have in Thailand. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan The hotel was great. The location is close to everything and view of Doi Suthep was perfect. The best breakfast buffet I have ever had. The fitness center does need some better equipment. |
Great as always. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan We enjoyed our stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated. The hotel had spa, sauna, swimming pool and the best buffet breakfast (with a good selection of fruits, vegetables, rices, noodles, etc). The location was ideal, close to the Night Bazar Market. |
Excellent service. Prompt response. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Very fine hotel. Nice & helpfull staff. The staff in the reception was very kind. Perfect location - nearby the Night Market (3 min. walk!) and only 10 min. drive from the Airport (Taxi Meter under 100 Bath). |
Perfect service from Sawadee.com.
No problems at all. Everything as we ordred. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan The staff in this hotel were very helpful and pleasant. Their English was decent. The hotel room was spacious and had a little separate sitting area. The bathroom was very stylish and stocked with toiletries. We booked in the main tower as there were no elevators in the adjoining buildings and my elderly father needed the elevator. The pool was more of a lap pool and on the 3rd floor, clean though with sauna and steam rooms. Breakfast was okay with a mix of european, chinese and thai dishes. Hardest bread we have ever had though! Truly only a 5 minute walk to the night market. There is a 7/11 next door for drinks, etc. Would recommend this one. |
No problems as always |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Very good hotel, nice, new and clean room - choose the Superior Room (which at the time we booked was just 50 Baht more)! Not far from center. And friendliest and most helpful staff, especially at the reception! |
Very good - and much cheaper through sawadee than directly at hotel! |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan We (family of four) stayed at Maninarakorn Hotel for five days, we had only booked for two days but we liked it so much so we extended three more days. The Hotel is lokated near to nightmarket and central chiangmai with all tempels. The breakfast is good. Pool was small but nice and clean they also have a gym. Teh hotel is new and elegant and the staff where very helpful and kind especially with our children. The deluxe room is spacious enough for us with small children. |
Safe and fast as always |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan We staayed in the budget priced rooms. There was no lift access to our floor but the rooms were large and very clean. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Free Internet access for Guests at the Hotel Reception. |
Fast and secure. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Good location close to night bazaar and old city. Rooms was very small but fine. breakfast was pretty bad. Hotel charged us 200 baht extra for one broken water glass which seemed a bit crazy. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan The hotel is very nice, nice rooms, cleaning ok. But stay at main hotel not annex. Breakfast good. Pool small but nice. Staff ok, but nothing special. Lokaction perfekt. When back in Chiang Mai I would stay here again. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Great hotel. 5 minute walking distance to the night bazaar. Hotel restaurant was not open for supper, so if we just wanted to stay close, we couldn t. Breakfast wasn t the best. Very clean, staff very kind! Would recommend, and would stay again. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Great location - EZ walk to the walled city, Saturday and Sunday night markets, Daily night market and the River. We liked our room but try to get a room in the main building as they are much nicer. Staff was helpful. Complimentary Inet access a nice touch. Breakfast was good as was the table service. |
Straight forward - excellent as usual |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Maninarakorn Hotel location is quite centre and near Night Bazaar with free internet for customers use. However our shower was not working very well either too hot or too cold thought we didn t complain because we were only staying for 2 nights. Disapointment with night duty staff lack of kwowledge of international dialing code. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay but would recommend more fruit selections. Fruit juice generally is too sweet in Thailand. Would be nice to have an omelette station. Overall would recomment to friends if above sorted. |
Prompt response. Would use their service again. |
| Stanley Ernest Green 2008-02-02 until 2008-02-06 |
Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan The main building might be better, but I would not recommend the older building at the back. The rooms (our group had three) were clean but basically concrete shells which had a faintly musty smell. Two of us had no hot water most of the time. There are no elevators which was not a problem for us but might be for others. The breakfast was fine and the staff helpful, and the location is good, near the Night Bazaar. |
Very efficient but once the credit card is debited there is no way to reverse the credit card payment and pay by cash or have others in your party place the room charges for their rooms on separate credit cards. So have each member of the party book separately, if possible. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Excellent room, very clean and well presented....doors a wee bit on the low side. Only real negative was door security, cheap and nasty lock, easily forced. Breakfast OK tho no beans or tomatoes. Service excellent. Agree with previous comment about Tuk Tuk s etc drivers not aware of this hotel. Will definately stay again. |
Excellent |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan On the plus is the breakfast buffet. It has good western food . Corn flakes, bacon and eggs etc. A negative is that it s new and nobody knows where it is ie tuk tuk and taxi. I moved after my reservation expired because the room is disfunctional. The bathroom was the worst. The entry door is only 5 8 1/2 high. There is no toilet roll holder. No shelving and to sit on the throne took a major contortion with one foot in the shower and twisted sideways. I also found the stairs difficult in that they are steep and narrow with low headroom. No elevator. Service was ok except for check out. When they learnt I was moving to new hotel they went very cold. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Nice hotel, massive rooms. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is pretty good. Pool looked nice but I did not use it. Conveniently located just outside the city and nearish the night markets. |
Sawadee.com is good, quite easy to book online. |
| Sebastian Prokop 2007-11-16 until 2007-11-19 |
Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan the place was ok. the rooms were quite nice. not a luxury or boutique place, but kind of a good city hotel. it was worth the money. the only minus was the breakfast buffet, which was very basic... |
this place was offered to us by sawadee, because the manathai village was fully booked. booking service was good. |
| Angelique Bolter 2007-09-30 until 2007-10-02 |
Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and had a great selection of different tastes. Nice staff. The facilities in the neighbourhood such as restaurants, night bazaar, banks, internet are also very convenient. The hotels pick-up service woked perfectly. It is not the cheapest hotel you can find but we considered it value for money. We would return there again next time. |
very good service without any difficulties |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Great hotel, friendly service, nice pool and great suite room. Well located, close to the Night Markets. No in house restaurant apart from breakfast but not a problem as plenty of restaurants close by. I would stay here again. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet hotel conviniently located at the heart of the city. Everything is just a 5-10minute tuk-tuk ride away or you could enjoy a 15minute stroll to the night market. We stayed at the terrace and the rooms were very spacious together with a little living area for the family to gather. The terrace rooms are removed from the main hotel and do not have lift access. The deluxe rooms are on the third floor so it does require one to climb several stairs, which we didn t mind. Service was good - the free trnsfer to-and-from airport was great. The hotel wasn t filled with tourists and we had free access to the little pool, steam, sauna and hot tub. Some suggestions for improvements include: brighter lighting in the rooms, an enclosed shower area, replacing the glass window in the bathroom. Breakfast was average and limited in choice, but it didn t bother us. |
Booking process was hassle-free. Would appreciate a more lenient refund/ reschedule/ transfer policy. We booked 3 deluxe rooms for a combined family holiday. When one of the family was unable to attend there was no refund/ transfer/ postponment policy despite advanced notice. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Nice hotel, rooms are comfortable and functional but not lavish. Staff friendly, breakfast good, small restaurants and cafes surrounding hotel also adequate. And the travel agency at the front of the hotel really made the trip...great little place. One thing: the hotel is ~ 15min walk to the main strip of the night market, and you have to pass the hookers to get there. So at night as a single female traveler, was not my favorite thing to walk home through. Other than that Maninarakorn was just fine. |

Maninarakorn Hotel, near Night Bazaar,Chang Klan Paid 200baht for airport pick-up. nice big 7 seater vehicle. hotel is hidden in an alley. walkable distance to night bazaar abt 10 mins. suite room was ok for the price i paid, abt 2600 baht. nicely furnished and big. no bathtub though, hotel corridors very dark and no aircon. shower in toilet runs either very hot or cold..difficult to get nice water temperature. breakfast was terrible, not buffet style. all you get is an american breakfast with some hotdog, sunny side up and bacon and some self-service cereal and bread. hotel was virtually empty, more staff than guests. swimmin pool is pretty small but ok since i didnt use it. fitness center not ready yet. hotels seems really new and most amenities are either not ready or starting to get ready. staff seems decent english. Note: Coffee sachet in room is not free. i got charged 50 baht for it which i think is ridiculous. 4 bottles of water are free, room has microwave oven though. nice lcd tv too and shower room is see through sytle top to bottom. door is lock it yourself and not card key. overall, is ok for the price at 2600 but if at full rack rate of 3500. no way... |
good. |
