84 Rooms in the brand new wing is finished and available for sales. The rest of areas will lines up to the finishing to the completion in end of October 2010. Suriwongse is also to be renamed / re-branding to the quality 4-Star city hotel in the heart of Night Bazaar Square in Chiang Mai
About the hotel: This is the first time I stayed in this hotel, a little bit old but room is big.

About the hotel: I had the most unpleasant welcome when the girl at the counter was very rude and most UNHELPFUL and UNFRIENDLY. Due to work constraints I left my booking number at home. The girl rudely direct me to their email room which I have no idea where and asked to send my email to their hotel. That girl could have at LEAST be more POLITE, friendly and HELPFuL especially to foreigners. The room was not pleasant too. the room phone was not working and I had to call the hotel several times to complain. On top of that I was charged for the tea and coffee making facilities which I DID NOT CONSUMED AT ALL AS I HAVE BROUGHT ALONG MY OWN COFFEE & TEA SACHETS.
About the hotel: Excellent service and great location. We have stayed here many times and value is outstanding. In fact, we extended our stay this year. Be sure to talk to Kung in the lobby (just outside of the restaurant) to set up day trips. She is friendly and professional.

About the hotel: I really enjoyed my stay at the Suriwongse Hotel. It s right next to the night market, which was very nice. It s not far from many Chiang Mai attractions and the tour booking staff are exceptional at explaining what s available and when it s best to go. I ve stayed twice and plan my next stay in Chiang Mai to be at the Suriwongse Hotel.
