Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Convenient for night bazaar but in need of modernisation. Most of the staff look like they hate working there, rooms ok, bathroom dirty and out of date. Wouldnt stay again. |
Good but why all the bother of having to pay by a date, easier to pay all upfront or on departure from hotel. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Location near the night bazar and rooms were OK. The ABF was not superior but certainly good for the price you pay. Staff friendly and correct. ONLY: There is NO pool and that is not mentioned in the add. You can swim but then you have to go to the Suriwongse hotel on the other side of the road. |
Here again Sawadee gave us what we asked and the hotel reservation was perfect. Thank you Sawadee and believe me when I say that I shall make publicity for your agency to everyone that I know. Until next year - greetings and THANK YOU FOR THE SERVICE. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Bon rapport qualité/prix. Très bien situé dans le centre de Chiang Mai. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être plus soigné et plus varié. |
Pas de problèmes. La descriptions de l hotel est conforme à la réalité. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Stayed again at this pleasant hotel which has easy access to Night Bizzare and other local attractions, Rooms are clean and staff friendly. The only downside is the internet servive 220Bt per hour 200Bt an hour if you have own laptop. Local internet cafes charge 30Bt an hour.So the hotels rates are excessive. overall will stay again. |
excellent booking service |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Excellent location, near the night bazaar. Though the lobby is a bit dingy looking, we found the room to be bright, clean, with good sheets and pillows and a great shower (we were upgraded for free though). Room had cable TV, mini-fridge, hot water kettle. The staff was nice enough, but when wanting to extend our stay, was not willing to give us the same price as Sawadee. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a reasonable price for a very central location. |
It went fine, was quick and easy. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Problem with ants in rooms and bathrooms. Rooms are quite dark and worn... in need of a renovation. This hotel does have a great location though, right near the night bazaar which is where most things are happening in the evening. |
Great |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Hotel was nice and staff were very friendly, stayed an extra 2 nights. Also allowed us to check in at 8am on morning of arrival. However compared with some other places around Chiang Mai, it is rather expensive for what you get |
perfect as always |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh The Deluxe Room is very spacious and clean. Loved the see-through glass panel with venetian blinds between the bedroom/bathroom - something very unique. Only wished there are more lightings especially at the study table & sofa areas. Other than that, everything was great. Loved the bathrobes/bedroom sandals and kettle jug ... we can enjoy drinking coffee in our own room. Location is great, just 5 mins to the night bazaar, shops, massage. Service is good too. Will definitely stay at Star Hotel again. Catherine, Singapore. |
Good and prompt service. We booked a private tour at the hotel lobby upon arrival. Had a mini bus with guide and driver just for my hubby & myself. We get to choose the places and attractions we want to visit at a reasonable price. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Nice hotel. You get what you pay for. Right behind the night bazaar so location could not be more perfect. Rooms a little old but still clean and big enough. Staff friendly and good breakfasts. Would recommend to others if they want to stay somewhere central. |
Excellent. Continue to use. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Nice hotel,Value for money, Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. The bath area was a bit small but would bother only heavyly built people. Cable TV had limited No of channels but who would come here to watch TV! Receptionist were friendly and helpful. Night market was just a 2 minute walk away and very convenient. Lots of cheap eateries and motor cycle rentals nearby. For use of swimming pool we were guided to a nearby hotel (same group) 2-3 blocks away, just a 1 minute walk. |
Fast, no problems, quick check in- within 3 minutes. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Not very nice hotel nor the staff. Very warn rooms. We changed hotel straight away to Galare Gesthouse, which was much better, but a little bit more expensive and in the same area. |
Very good. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh The hotel rate is reasonable. Good service. There is leaking in the toilet. The next day they automatically change for me to another room without me making a complain of the leakage. Very convenient near to the Night street market and the Anusarn Night Market. |
Great booking service! Will definitely use Sawadee again! |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh When we arrived we had a a small problem (which I had already thought may happen) with 2 bookings under the same name and same day. However, the hotel were extremely kind and put us into the Surawongse Hotel instead. I have no complaints whatsoever and have no doubt recomending this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were great. |
I would recomend sawadee.com, they handled everything very professionally. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh great hotel for the price, nice rooms and the added bonus of free use of the luxury amenities of its neighbouring sister hotel |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Staff fairly friendly but don t go out of their way. Rooms were spotless and comfortable with a very effective air conditioner and huge bed and balcony. The hotel is in a good location, near a small shopping complex with starbucks (hooray!) and a great massage parlour (called Let s Relax - I think?). This hotel have an excellent laundry service (a bit pricey, but worth it). |
Fabulous! |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh It was generally OK except for the following: 1. Had to pay 50 Baht for the complimentary coffee/tea. Thought only if a refill was requested then only have to pay. 2. Had to pay 100 Baht for the complimentary Buddhist on Karma when we took it with us. Found out that this book was give free to all Hotels by the Buddhist Missionary. |
Very convenient. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh It is a good hotel. With free airport transfer. But if you are from hotel to airport have to pay around 70bht. very near to night bazaar & market. If you like to find budget dining you can go to corner IT Store (Pantip Plaza) Infront of hotel, there is a food court.(clean & valuable) rather than you eat at restaurant(cost you 300-700bht). Hotel staff very nice & speak english very well. They provide good information to us. I will came back next time. |
Overall is ok |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh This is my six stay at Star Hotel. First four stay was thru walk in and the last two is thru your internal reservation. You would note that from the numbers of return visit to the hotel is the manifestation of satisfaction. However, the hotel should do more to upgrade every rooms and start phasing out the used and worn out bath towel. Would be good if the hotel could include BBC in the tv channel. Thanks |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh A lovely hotel with all the comforts of home and more. The staff were very accomodating & upgraded us to a better room as we arrived before our booked room became available. On the negative side some services (such as laundry)were little pricey & inflexible. |
Booking service is easy to use & reliable (used the service for two seperate hotels). Many emails back & forth from sawadee though. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Star hotel is a little old but fairly well maintained. It is only about a 5-7 min walk to the Night Bazaar. The Deluxe room I booked into was surprisingly large and comfortable but lacking in proper wardrobe space and a room safe. Strangely, the hotel provides a good range of toileteries in the bathroom but not tissues for use in the rooms. The staff were pleasant and courteous. The hotel tariff is very reasonable for what you get. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to any middle budget traveller. Michael Wee |
Kudos to Sawadee.com for the prompt and efficient service in helping me book the hotel. I had no problems to check in on arrival. But I fail to understand why airport transfers cannot be made for people not travelling by Thai Inter. Taxis are not too pricey but it s more a matter of convenience. Michael Wee |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh I thought this hotel was great value for the money. The renovated rooms are immaculate, with nice washrooms. Location is very convenient, with the nightmarket just up the block. One of the more comfortable stays I had in thailand |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Was being refurbished while we were staying, with 2 of us in the new-style rooms and one in the grotty old ones. New rooms represent excellent value for money |
fine |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh OK place, pretty good value. Great place to stay for the shopping as the night bazaar is just down the end of the street. Would definitely stay there again. One problem with charging us an extra night for extra beds but all sorted in the end. |
Great! No problems. |

Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh Would NOT recommend Star Hotel to anyone! Hotel is old and dingy and in desperate need to total renovation! Room tv has only two intermittently working channels due to static and/or poor reception. The bathroom toilet leaks when flushed. The combo tub/shower is so narrow that if you try to turn while standing, you may lose your footing due to the rounding edges in the tub. Breakfast was bad! The food was luke warm at best. Choices were very limited. etc, etc, Advise finding another Hotel. Would rate this hotel a one star hotel. |
had no problem with the booking service. although there seems to be a lot of correspondence back and forth to secure reservation. |
| Nick 2004-10-14 until 2004-10-16 |
Star Hotel, near Night Bazaar, Loy Kroh somewhat faded charm but comfortable and centrally-located. On the morning I checked out I left my expensive new mbie phone in my room and as I was hailing a taxi outside a maid came running out of the hotel to return it to me |
