Keith Richards 2009-04-11	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Good value hotel, quiet situation but handy for local transport into town. Breakfast not bad. All you can eat buffet 5 mins walk towards town with excellent choices.	Great no-problem service.

The hotel has bad localisation in outskirts of the town so you are forced to take taxi or tuk tuk every time you want to get to the centre. The room requires serious refreshment: sunk was stuck, window dirty and the garden view room turned to car parking view room. Every morning we were waked up by sounds of bus engines. The only garden view that hotel proudly announced on his website is joke. The garden is situated beside the reception building. The only view from the \ garden view rooms\ are roof of the building or car parking. While you booking your room they want you pay in advance the whole amount. Now is obvious why, Ater 1 night stay here you quickly move to the other hotel, but unfortunately we had no option becouse of this advanced payment.	ok, no problem
Stijn J 2009-01-26	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Descent hotel, but there s probably better in this price-class. The rooms are very small, I m 1m86 and the bed is just big enough to fit me so if you re bigger you ll be sleeping with your feet out of the bed. The hotel specialises in group, so they make a lot of noise. Reception staff not really helpfull, better ask taxi-and tour questions to the other staff people who were really nice. The hotel does have a nice, well maintened garden with swimming pool and the atmosphere is very nice. Breakfast is good.	excellent service, didn t have any problems.
A.P.S. de Bruin 2009-01-23	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew It was the 3th time we stayed in this hotel.We booked the Garden Wing because it is a very quiet place to stay.This time was different.We stayed there for 7 days but 5 days there was a party at the pool and by day staff was very busy with tables and chairs. A relaxing stay at the pool was not possible. Staff is very friendly.	As good as always.
Flora 2009-01-18	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Beautiful garden, nice pool. Not nice was that there was a wedding in the garden, so couldn t use the pool or garden and it was very noisy that day. Hotel staff was good. The hotel arranged taxi driver didn t come at 5.30 am, but staff ran to get a songtao	very good
Manfred KLUGE 2008-11-22	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Holiday Garden is one of the smaller hotels located on Huay Kaew Road, which leads to the ChiangMai zoo and farther on to Doi Suthep hill. No problem to reach the center by sawng thaew (pick-up taxi) or tuk-tuk within 10 minutes. A quiet location with a beautiful small garden and pond, and also featuring a small swimming pool. There is, however, some occasional noise from planes taking off from ChiangMai airport, since the runway points in a northern direction. As long as there are no more than 12-15 outbound flights per day, this is not a big issue. The hotel consists of 2 very different buildings: the old, country-style, hotel complex with only 3 floors and with rooms and a nice veranda showing to the pool and garden side, and a more recent, adjacent 9-storey tower, which clearly does not fit into the original hotel architecture. You should bear this in mind when selecting your room! Breakfast is o.k., but not very lavish. The service staff, esp. in the restaurants, are not very attentive, since the hotel specializes in receiving large groups of tourists, who arrive for 1 or 2 nights and leave the following day.	Very fast and reliable booking, payment and confirmation procedure.

The hotel is in a quiet area, a beautiful garden and the staff is friendly. Next year we hope to stay there again.	Very good. No problems at all

Greg and Gail DARCH 2007-12-29 until 2008-01-16	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Last year we stayed in town. Decided this year to stay out of town a bit, still only about a 2 kilometre walk or short songtow, tuk tuk ride. The hotel was great, stayed in two garden view rooms, my wife, young daughter and I in one and my 2 teenage sons in the other. Rooms are quite small but okay for the price.There are some markets that open at night about a 400 metre walk towards town along Haew Gaew Road and plenty of restarants in either direction a short walk away.The university and the zoo are also within walking distance.The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus into the main night markets in Chang Klan Road every night which leaves at 8pm and returns at 11pm. The grounds of the hotel are very nice as is the pool area.If you book a room you need to specify that you want to be looking over the pool area if you don t want to end up overlooking the car park which more often than not has buses loaded with tourists arriving at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning for breakfast accompanied by the sounds of the whistle happy parking attendants.Having now stayed in town and out I would not go back into town again. Much quieter out at the Holiday Garden and easy to get into town if you want to.Great value for the money, would stay there again.	Used sawadee.com for all our accomadation arrangements last year and have never had a single problem. Great service.

OwYong Alan 2007-11-11 until 2007-11-13	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew If there is no need for you to be in town, the Holiday Garden Hotel is the best choice. It is on the way to Doi Suthep and close to the super Highway and airport. The garden wing is very reasonable at Bht 950 though the rooms are rather small. The deluxe were full. Soothing garden views from the breakfast table if you go early. Will stay again on next visit.	No sweat!

About 10 minutes from Night Bazaar and hotel puts on a shuttle bus each night which was really handy. I would definitely recommend to stay in the garden rooms rather than the tower rooms - garden rooms much nicer and most overlook the pool. Breakfast is nothing special - it is put out at 6am and same food still there by the time most bpeople get there around 9am so all a little bit dry/overcooked! They also started putting the lunch buffet out at 10am which I thought was ridiculous! Never saw anyone cleaning the pool which was a little concerning. However, despite all of these negatives it was fine for £20 per night.	ok

I believe many european tourists can find out budhist philosophy trough their hospitality. Prices are very reasonable, service and room conditions very good. We have stayed in Garden window in standard room. The rooms are not very spacious but with asian details that make this place special. It s a bit far from night market but near to the hotel you can find small local market where is not many foreigneres so for us it was better. Definately I will be back to Chiang Mai and to this hotel.	Perfect
June Gebhard 2006-01-02 until 2006-01-06	Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Location is far away from down town area, not convenience for anyone needs walking distance unless you rent a scooter. However it close to a local open night market, this is not a tourist shopping area but for local people. Room was not too bad but Queen bed is not what I expected. They actually put two individual single bed next to each other. The shower was not functional well. The pool and garden section are nice and relax enough to get away from the room.

The staff were always on hand to help with anything.They were always smilling. This was my first trip into another country but I have traveled through the whole United States and everyone at this hotel was better to me than any hotel I stayed at in the US.
