| HMONG HILLTRIBE
LODGE offers guests a unique opportunity to experience authentic
tribal culture and customs in a magical natural setting. Surrounded
by lush tropical vegetation that shelters several friendly Hmong
villages, our beautiful jungle lodge is conveniently located only an
hour's drive from Chiang Mai, in the serene heart of the Mae Rim
district of. With an elevation of 2,700 feet above mean sea level,
the weather at the Lodge is mild and cool all year round.
An artful blend of simplicity and style, Hmong Hilltribe Lodge is made up of ten individual houses, each comprising four separate rooms arranged around a central communal area with a large fireplace. Guests may choose from a selection of standard, superior and deluxe rooms, subject to availability. In the evening the traditional Hmong Village atmosphere in enhanced as a buffet style dinner of local delicacies and traditional favorites are provided, while local villagers display their distinct and ancient customs of courting, wedding rites, and traditional dancing to native instruments. All under the watchful gaze of the evening stars shine down form a clear sky. The coffee shop restaurant provides Thai and Western cuisine including local specialty dishes for the more adventurous diner. The close proximity of our lodge to a number of Hmong villages enables guests to explore these settlements at leisure, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the intricate techniques of traditional Hmong embroidery, weaving and batik. Alternatively, our experienced guides lead trekking tours to villages father a field through un-spoil jungle permeated, with a rich assortment of indigenous flora and fauna. And following a day of discovery in the scenic surrounds, our expansive pool area and Thai Massage Salas provide ideal indulgences before a moonlit meal at our open-air restaurant. |

Every evening, following a barbeque and buffet dinner served
under the stars, our Hmong neighbors from the nearby village of Mae
Khi come to entertain our guests with a cultural performance.
Through song, dance and rituals, they tell their ancient tribal
stories, offering visitors and insider's view of traditional Hmong
marriage ceremonies, shamanic rituals, New year custom and everyday
