Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan I m quite satisfied with the hotel but the location. Nice room, kind staff and nice swimming pool. The only problem is that I don t like the tuktuk there and few taxi is available. The only way out is to rent a motorcycle or a car. |
totally satisfied. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan The hotel is beautifully designed in a traditional thai style (Lanna), very quiet. The swimming-pool is well appreciated. The staff is so friendly and helpful. A great value for your money! |
great and hassle-free. The staff is very accomodating. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan This an awesome hotel for the personality, the kind service, and the value for the money. It can t be beat. Last year the bathroom was pretty old and this time the bathrooms were renovated. We will stay here again next week. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable, the hot water was broken when we arrived but got fixed immediately on reporting it. The breakfast in the mornings were great and very efficiently served. The pool was lovely and clean and the garden was beautiful. The front desk staff were absolutely so friendly and helpful and just lovely people. Our whole stay in Chiang Mai was a good one and I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to have some peace and quiet just outside the bussling city, but also only 10 minutes away on a hired motorbike. |
Booking service I will give 100% all went well even the picking up service provided for at the airport which I did via your internet site as well |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan This was my second stay at Baan Tai and, as the first time, I enjoyed it very much. I ve stayed at other hotels in Chiang Mai and they were the traditional Tourist type hotels. The Baan Tai is built in the traditional Lanna style and is very beautiful. Because of the floors being of teak wood you have to leave your shoes off while going to and coming from your room, and that was OK for me. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. It is a quiet hotel with a small pool and away from the hectic, busy city streets. From the hotel getting around by Tuk Tuk, Taxi or motorbike is fairly easy. If you want more access to traditional tourist activity this hotel is not for you, but, if you want to enjoy a nice respet after a day of walking around Chiang Mai or out trekking this is the hotel for you. There is a restaurant at the hotel but I have never seen it very busy except for the morning breakfast, depending on the number of guest staying at the hotel. I would recommend the hotel for anyone who is looking for a good clean hotel with a bargain price. |
I booked online as I have stayed at this hotel before and knew how to obtain get my reservation set. The booking was easyly made and my reservation was confirmed the same day with no problems. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan A rather basic hotel, I know the cost was low, but in room no chair, no beside table, nowhere in the bathroom to place your shaving-bag, not towle hangers and no hot water at the basin. A taxi into Chaingmai one way is costing 60 to 8o bhat. We found a lovely hotel in Chaingmai where the room only is costing 1000 Bhat incuding breakfast . 3 sisters hotel. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan First time up to Chaing Mai and decided to look for a smaller, more traditional place a bit out of town. really glad we did because Baan Tai is a delight - teak flooring, wooden 2-storey buildings, a bit basic but all you needed and great value at the price. Good breakfast and lovely grounds and small pool. Distance from town didn t bother us because we hired a newish car for 2 days at less than £20 a day so could be independent. Arranged by Od in reception - great character. New Aussie owner and smart Indonesian wife keen to make good place even better. Only suggestion - how about a kettle in each room? Gave us one on request. Loved it. |
First class as ever. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan We have booked for 5 nights but stayed only one night because we were travelled with a child under two years and The hotel was far from center for us. But for two adults it s a great and traditional place, very quiet. Staffs were very pleased with us and understood our problem. So we recommand it for people who want to be in peaceful place! |
We don t understand how to cancel our reservation. booking is very easy but cancellation very difficult! |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan My wife and I stayed at the Baan Tai during October 2007 for a 5 day and a 3 day period. We found it comfortable with a very friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Nice small pool The hotel is a traditional Thai building very beautiful and all teak construction - not 5 star but most certainly value for money and handy to the old City Centre (5mins/50baht by tuk tuk) Would definitely stay again. Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan Excellent stay and enjoyable trip to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Hotel built with teak wood looks authetic with nice decoration. The only unpleasant experience was the hotel room is not properly sound-proof. I could hear people checking in/out middle of the night with heavy thumbling walking steps and wheeling their luggages around at the upper floor.( I was staying at ground floor). It was quite annoyed and disturbing.Overall, i m happy with the service provided and friendly receptionists:)) |
reliable and efficient. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan What a lovely place, we are so very glad we stayed here, it was quiet and friendly, in a peaceful part of town where you felt you were in the real Thailand, a meal locally cost only 25 bart! We had a nice breakfast included and the sevice was excellent and the lady who runs the hotel was particularly kind and helpful. She personally dropped us at the night market each evening and also organised our trek and let us keep the room for 3 days while we were trekking, as we booked an extra night when we returned. Nothing was too much trouble and I highly recommend this hotel which was fantastic for us, away from hustle and bustle set in lovely gardens. The kids loved the swimming pool and cable TV! Especially good while adjusting to the time difference! We noticed that a previous comment mentioned about removing shoes but we did not find this a problem and anyway it seems to be done everywhere in Chaing Mai. There was a fairly big flood when we stayed luckily although the road outside was seriously flooded the water only lapped at the steps of the hotel. The balance of short distance from night market but lovely peaceful location and friendly helpful staff, plus pool and TV meant that this was our most favourite hotel in the 5 weeks and 8 hotels we stayed during our trip! We loved Chaing Mai and will come back to this hotel if we are lucky enough to return. |
very easy to use and there was no problem when we had to alter the dates by a day, excellent! |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan The hotel is very beautiful, in old Lanna style (everything is wood-including walls). The gardens and yards were very beautiful.Pool looked ok. Breakfast is made to order. The only drawback to the hotel is the shoe requirement .The wearing of shoes inside the hotel is forbidden. This is a nice custom and greatly reduces noise, but unfortunatelly you are required to remove your shoes before entering the registration area. This is quite a hassle considering that the hallway to the reception desk is only about 3 meters so be prepared to drop all of your baggage, remove your shoes only to walk about 3m and then put your shoes back on and gather all your belongings because accommodation is in various buildings. There is also no bellboy service to help you with baggage. |
Fast and reliable as always. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan It is outside the turisty area of Chiang Mai, very quiet and relatively close to the airport. |

Baan Tai Hotel, Chang Klan Very good service. The rooms are very thai -style but not really comfortable. But in relation to the price, its a good deal. Not very far from the night market, with a taxi about 10 min. More something for the small briefcase. |
Excellent |

Baantai Hotel, Chang Klan The atmosphere at Baan Thai is great. The traditional teak house, the nice garden and the limited number of rooms create the frames for a relaxing holiday and in addition the people who run the hotel are very nice and helpful in any matter. |
Works fine. Except that your WEB-page for payment keeps saying: `Please wait the payment is in progress` even though you receive an e-mail that confirms that the transaction is OK. |

Baantai Hotel, Chang Klan This is a nice hotel. Great architecture. Bathroom was not very useful, almost no hot water. Breakfast was great. Staff is wonderful. Just outside the busy streets of Chiang Mai, but close enough to be very convenient. Good mid-range choice. |

Baantai Hotel, Chang Klan well, it lookes nice from the outside and it might have been a good hotel 20 years ago but the rooms are very dark, the bathroom big but not clean and the reception consist of a sleeping guy. We would not go there again as there are plenty guesthouses in Chiang Mai that are cheaper, better and more central |

Baantai Hotel, Chang Klan Baantai was a nice enough place for the price. Pretty good value. A bit of a distance to the main part of town though. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Overall accomodation was basic, but pleasant and clean and comfortable. |
GREAT! As usual! |
