Welcom to Tohsang Khongjiam Resort is located on the bank of Mekong river in Khongjiam, a district of Ubon Ratchathani. Spend quality time you could hardly find anywhere else. You can touch totally nature. Our exclusive location offers a complete natural beauty on the river where morning brings picturesque sunrises. All rooms are designed in a typical multi - culture between Thai - Khmer - Balinese styles with a balcony feature Mekong Riverview. All guestrooms are full facilities for utmost comfort and pleasure.

" Schöne Hotelanlage am Mekong Fluss gelegen. Das Hotel liegt langgestreckt in einem schönen Garten am Mekong. Es verfügt über viele Zimmerkategorien. Wir hatten ein Doppeltzimmer im 2 (obersten) OG am Ende des Ganges (im zweiten Gebäude). Die Zimmer am Ende eines Ganges sind die schönsten.(Eckzimmer mit kleinen, kaum einsehbaren Terrassen; die anderen Zimmer mit Balkonen) Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und haben ein Fenster zum Badezimmer / Toilette (wer das mag), sodass man von der Badewanne aus den Blick durch das Zimmer auf den Fluss genießen kann. Das Badezimmer ist mit separater Duschkabine und Badewanne (die etwas lange braucht um voll zu laufen) sehr zeitgemäß. Hochzeitspaare aufgepasst: Zimmer 2334 hatte eine eigene und völlig uneinsehbare Terrasse mit zwei bequemen Liegen drauf. Der Weg zum Frühstücksbuffet kann etwas lang werden, dafür ist das Frühstücksangebot gehobener Standard, jedoch mit einigen thailändische Überraschungen wie: Thai Cafe, Thai Krapfen und Thai Frühlingsrollen. Vom Hotelrestaurant hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Fluss; bei Nacht werden auf den davor gelagerten Inseln Lichter angezündet; sehr romantisch. Das Essensangebot ist reichhaltig und gut, vielleicht etwas teuer (10% Service Charge ist bereite im Rechnungsbetrag enthalten), aber im Ort gibt es kaum Alternativen. Die Bedienung ist kompetent, schnell, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Pool ist großzügig angelegt mit nur ca. 12 Liegen etwas knapp bestückt. Die Pooltücher könnten gelegentlich erneuert werden. Im Garten liegen zwei überdachte Yoga / Meditationsplätze sowie ein Platz für ein Lagerfeuer. Im TV nur Thai - Programme. Ein Muss ist ein Bootsausflug (ca. 1.500 THB) zu den Felsen im Moon River, der hier in den Mekong mündet; natürlich nur in der Trockenzeit. Durch den Abrieb von kleinen Kieselsteinen sind über die Jahrhunderte in den Felsen Löcher in allen Größen entstanden - etwas Einmaliges. Fährt man vom Hotel gegen 16:00 / 16:30 ab, bekommt man bei der Rückfahrt einen schönen Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. "
