Graham Lacourt 2009-04-10	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram Stayed in a VIP room, and for the first time in my life I can say the room was too big ! Could have played a game of football in there! Minus points - they now have internet in the lobby (previous reports said no internet), but found it impossible to send eMails although could receive them. 2 good internet cafe s over the road which were also cheaper by the hour - the Expat one also sells coffee. Shower was poor, with only mounting bracket at bath-tub height, so either had to sit in the bath or hold shower nozzle with one hand. Plus points - Clean and tidy, daily room service very good. Staff very friendly and fun, both in reception and the restauarant / bar. Bar staff support Liverpool - always a good sign!!	Fine, I am a fan of sawadee.com, having booked hotels through you during the last year with 100% success.
Mr Tarkiainen 2009-02-28	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram Ok hotel with exellent location. Breakfast nothing to mention.Our AC was a disaster,noisy and it did not work correctly, the staff attempt to fix it for 3 days and finally we got another room.We had a VIP room and the room were very spacious. Just 200 meters (left) from the hotel we found an exellent restaurang called Book & Bed !! Delicious Thai & International food !! Try it !! Despite the small problems i ll recommend this hotel. Alain Fournier 2009-02-19	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram I was in a VIP room for four days. The room seam to have been built for something helse than a room. The toilet are very old but fonctionnal. The mattress is very cheap. The air conditionning was working for short period of time. I book this room for 1,300bath and the price door was 1,800bath. Quality/price are ok and I would book again, except that there is no access to internet.	The hotel had received the booking and respected it. So everything was ok

Christopher Young 2008-11-20	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram My family and I stayed at the Vongthong Hotel in Buriram, Thailand from November 13-20, 2008. We actually had the same VIP room we had when we stayed there in 2000. Except for some new furniture, it was essentially unchanged since then. Overall, the hotel is clean and comfortable, but I believe it is overdue for an upgrade. In particular, the bathroom needs to be modernized. Additionally, the hotel needs to provide Internet Access in all of the rooms, as well as in the lobby and restaurant areas. Aside from those items, I like the hotel and will certainly stay there again. The price is certainly right.	Regarding the booking service. I booked online through Chiandao and had no issues at all.
ANDREW O`CONNOR 2008-09-15	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram This was my second stay at the Vongthong Hotel. The first time I stayed in a VIP room and this time a Deluxe room. Both rooms were very large with good furniture the only let down was the shower and hot water system. For the price though I would recommend it and I intend to stay again.
Sharon Craig, Jimboomba, Australia 2008-09-06	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram, Buriram We stayed in the VIP Suite which was huge, very cheap and very nice. The meals in the restaurant were lovely. Breakfast was very average though. Will definately stay at this hotel again.	Booking was very easy.
Hendrikus Brouwer 2008-08-20 until 2008-08-21	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram It was a dissapointment, the bathroom was not clean, the maintenance of the bathroom was not done for years, the breakfast service was very poor, clothing of the waiting boy was dirty, his nails were even more dirty, coffee was not available, also not after asking for coffee. Snooker hall looked like it was not cleaned in 4 weeks, it needed a spray for insects, menu of the drinks was not changed, many of the drinks could not be served.	Good and quick service.

The room was absolutely huge but the bathrooms shower was a hand held rose on a short hose. I d stay again.	This was my first time using this service and will not be the last. Great communication :-)

No hot water at bathroom wash basin. No english language channels on cable TV. Terrace cafe good value at night. Breakfast bad experience, limited set menu, hot coffee was a cup of warm water with instant coffee sachet, fresh orange juice was a sickly orange cordial. I will not stay there again	Good

I had a big suite room. Its a good place to stay. I I can recommend this hotel.	This was the first time I used the booking service from Sawedee. I am very satisfied about the service provided.

No serious complaints, although lack of at least one decent English language TV station was surprising and disappointing; non-Thai TV station reception incredibly poor. Also I don t like having to put my valuables in a shared safe. Getting laundry back was always a struggle. But these are minor irritations: overall the hotel is fine. By the way, the Balcony Bar staff (breakfast/evening drinks etc) are very nice people and the live singing every night is great. Would I stay there again? Yes. [Across the road the Star Internet shop is a good place to go.]	Excellent.

Very amazed to find a Hotel of this quality in a rural non tourist town. RECEPTION Naturally difficult to communicate however courteous and helpfull ROOMS (One Delux and one VIP)Did not expect the massive size and appointments.Very clean. MEALS Adequate. Service good. LOCATION Only possible problem is situated on outskirts of town. Will definitely be returning as son is living in farm outside of town	Excellant service

Only down point, at certain times throughout the day the bathroom stank of sewage, I think from a small hole in the floor. It was not a problem thoigh we just had to keep the bathroom door shut.	Very good.
Rene Brunner 2007-11-13 until 2007-11-16	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram Stayed in a VIP room for 3 nights. The bedroom is spacious and clean. A/C leaking after longish use; the room is so big that you have to get the A/C going the whole night (not too noisy). The shower and the bath tub are a total misconstruction! If you suffer from hip or knee problems, you won t be able to get into the tub. The shower head is mounted at knee-level height and makes showering somewhat cumbersome. The shower curtain is about about a metre away from the bath tub and is not meant to protect the water from spilling onto the floor, but to protect you from being seen by other people in the bathroom?! If you are a Westener, forget the breakfast; instant coffe that you have to prepare yourself; fried eggs that look old already as they come out of the kitchen; some Thai rice dishes. We had the bad luck that a bus group stayed at the hotel, and on two mornings, the staff was unable or unwilling to find a free seat for us in the breakfast room (veranda). But otherwise, good value for money, and I haven t seen any other decent accomodation in Buri ram; the alternatives are very limited.	Booking service was fast and accurate.
mr jones 2007-10-26 until 2007-11-02	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY, MY MUM AND STEP DAD STAYED AT YOUR HOTEL I BOOKED THE HOTEL FOR THEM WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY WERE GREETED WELL AND WERE LOOKED AFTER THROUGHOUT THERE STAY,THEY ARE A FUSSY COUPLE BUT THEY ENJOYED THERE STAY AND CAN NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT THERE STAY. THE ONLY THING THEY DID NOT LIKE WAS NO EUROPEAN BREAKFAST. I RECOMMENDED THE HOTEL TO A BEST FRIEND HE SAID THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND HE WOULD RETURN.	EXCELLENT AND EFICIANT NO PROBLEMS

Used the diningroom both evenings, both service and food were excellent. Breakfast service was also good. Since I am in Thailand for 6 weeks I will go back for 3 more days mid April. Can strongly recommend this Hotel.	Booked on internet and Service were good with quick responce.

At a 7:00 a.m. arrival it s nice to have someone waitng to take you to the Hotel. The room was very nice but the wood furniture in the living room area is only for show, way too hard to sit on for any period of time. The shower is a joke unless you think sitting to wash is O.K. Breakfast was a buffet only if the Hotel had a lot of guests otherwise it was a waste of time. The staff try to be helpful but at times the lack of English speaking skills can make it very frustrating to get anything done. As a place to stay for a night or two it will serve its purpose.	No problems, answered all my questions in a timely manner. What more do you want from a booking service?

The room service was first class and the Restaurant excellant both for food and service. Although with us knowing little Thai and them knowing little English it was ineteresting at times. But they tried very hard.	First class.

Towels were thin, smelly and looked unclean. They were laundered but not sure if correctly! ABF was poorly cooked, and staff unable to understand English. Thai food was good and cheap. Good cheap western food available in small restaurant across the road. Hotel transport was smelly and falling apart.	Booking was quick and efficient.
Ian Haddow 2005-07-04 until 2005-07-07	Vongthong Hotel, Buriram VIP rooms are huge just ensure you don t get room 216 or any close to this since it is directly over the Karaoke bar that does not close till 2am. Also beds could do with an upgrade short and extremely hard. Thai food at restaurant was lovely. Staff were friendly albeit a few issues with communication. Definitely need to get rid of the older part of there taxi fleet with a fan belt going half way to airport and the back up was about to seize with oil light flashing and exhaust fumes coming into the van with nothing but the front seat. Would still stay there again though.	Excellent
