Gary Elvin 2007-09-06 until 2007-09-10	Sofitel Raja Orchid Khon Kaen, Khon Kaen how can you find fault with perfection. the hotel,suite,staff food and general ambience of the hotel was 5 star. the hotel buffet breakfast is unsurpassed in any hotel that i have ever stayed, pricey hotel but well worth the money, it compares to the ritz in London on every thing but cost. will deffinatly stay there again..	first rate service and communications. totally faultless and saved a fair amount of money too.

MASSON 2007-05-01 until 2007-05-04	Sofitel Raja Orchid Khon Kaen, Khon Kaen Excellent welcome.Rooms are large and very clean. You can see the all city of Khon Kaen if you re in high floor. The buffet breakfast is very good. The swimming pool is quiet and beautifull.The staff was pleasant and effective. I recommend this hotel in Khon Kaen.	good, as usual

Lovely well appointed room (superior), excellent breakfast. Top service, although check in staff a bit aloof. Swimming pool was quite small for such a large hotel though. Would definitely stay again	No problems

However, the receptionist could not find my name when I check-in. They said the agent switch my name and last name. That same night my family called the hotel and was told that my name was not on the registered list... How can this be happening twice??? I do not know.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The internet access is very good.	I was concerned about my reservation because a representative from khon kaen University called the hotel to confirm the reservation that I had made through Sawadee.com and she was told that I did not have a reservation at the hotel. I faxed the hotel directly after hearing this news and did not receive confirmation of the reservation by fax directly from the hotel for several days.

And the staff were always so friendly and and always had a smile.I will be returning very soon,tip top for facilities and cleanliness	Excellent!! no problems at all fast and very efficent

Be aware that downtown Khon Kaen has a lot of nightlife, including discos. Although it may have been because it was Christmas Eve, music could be heard thumping almost all night even on a high floor.	Superior service. I made an error when I reserved this room, but shortly after calling the local agent, the problem was resolved. They even called my mobile to check that everything was OK.

Things went so smoothly that there was a bit of impersonality relevant to the general hotel environment. If you want a slightly more personal ambience consider the Khosa, which is very close to the Sofitel.	Have been using this service for several years and have always found it to be truly excellent.

Is the best hotel in the region by far, (but not much competition really) Just hope they keep up the standards, a couple of things were less than 5*, cold food in the buffet breakfast, torn sheets and bedside control unit was temperamental. Like so many things after time the quality slips, just hope this does not slip any further. But still for the price this is luxury accomodation.	seemless service, no problems at all, will use you next time guaranteed.

Located in the middle of Khon Kaen city, surrounded by many restaurants and shopping malls. The breakfast was indeed the best I´ve experienced in Thailand. I´ll definitely stay here again if visiting Khon Kaen again.	Excellent! I always use sawadee.com when booking hotels in Thailand.

Notice : the travel agency in the lobby (TRES BIEN TRAVEL) is unpleasant and refused to change a reservation on a THAI flight (The THAI AIRWAYS office is closed on saturday and sunday and all phone lines were busy). They even bring Ice around a couple times a day and fill the container in the room. Very good breakfast & my son said the buffet meal was outstanding. A definate return on my next visit to Khon Kean	Even when I was off by a day, they reworked my reservation to the correct number of days with no problem. Great!

I have always found the staff very helpfull and polite. Food is very good with a large choice of cuisine. Will happily go to this hotel again.	Found Sawadee.com easy to use and book with. Good rates were offered , my requirements were fully. Most important was the quick response and fast eamil replies. I liked the way I was kept fully informed.

So we need to request several time to add coffee and set not complet. Also the restaurant are not on Sofitel level. We (3 people) go eat and even we order same time we go our menues spererated for almost 40 min.	There is not better booking services at Thailand

Entertainment on both the underground levels is well worth a visit. We have stayed here many times over the years and look forward to returning again. Only gripe is the lack of coffee & Tea facilities in the rooms.	Sawadee as ever continue to provide us with an efficient service and are reassuringly reliable in providing reasonably priced bookings.
