KOH CHANG LAGOON RESORT sits right on Had Sai Khao (Meaning White Sand Beach ) which is one of the most beautiful and best known beaches on Koh Chang. Located on the north-west of the island, Koh Chang Lagoon Resort is only a 15 minute drive from any of the 3 ferry disembarkation point on the island.
The resort has a superb beachfront where guests can truly enjoy the sun, sand, sea and even the stars and the moon! This is because the resort provide good food and great dining services on the beach at night time. Beach parties are possible too!A pleasant trip from Bangkok to Koh Chang. Koh Chang is only 330 kilometres from Bangkok, approximately 4 hours by road to the pier in Trat province, 30 to 45 minutes by Ferry. From Trat to Koh Chang, there are 3 piers servicing in Laem Ngob district. It took you only 15 minutes drive from any of the 3 ferries.

About the hotel:
Location of the hotel is great. The room was no more than OK, it looked old and a bit tore down. Good cleaning. The breakfast-buffet was not very good, no yoghurt or brewed coffee. Not everyone want to have disgusting english breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausages, but a fresh, healthy breakfast. The staff in the hotel, especially in the restaurant, don´t understand english very well and they often forgets your order or serves something else than what you ordered. But generally we are satisfied with your stay, Koh Chang is wonderful!

About the hotel:
I stayed in a standard hotel bath tub room for two weeks (jan 09). My opinion is that the hotel was ok but not much more. I ve been on the island before and there are many hotels in the same prize range that have higher standard than Lagoon Resort. Although the staff was very kind and helpful.

About the hotel:
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. A budget a hotel that was good value for money. Service was very good. When we complaint about something they promptly fixed it. The breakfast was so so but not really bad. The hotel is located very centrally at white sands beach. We had maybe 40 meters to walk from our room to the beach. Lot s of nice restaurants nearby. Would definately consider staying in this hotel again.

About the hotel:
We are a family of 4 persons and we had booked a 4-bed suite. The suite was very small and facing a back yard. Not what you expect from looking on the web site. We were able to change to two very nice rooms close to the waterline. Very serviceminded staff and good service. Would probably not have been possible during high season.

Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and very nice. The staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast! The beach fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone planning to visit Koh Chang.

Here you can trek on foot or on an elephant into to hills, scuba dive at the many spectacular dive sites, snorkel and enjoy the colorful spectrum of the corals , take a boat to those other fascinating islands bike or jog along the beach road , mountain bike along the hills and slopes of the island or simply hire a motorcycle for a sightseeing tour of the island.
