About the hotel: I would not recommend this hotel. The grounds are nice, but not worth the price. The rooms are OK, but again not worth the price. The staff were horribly inattentive. The bathroom was dirty, and the hot water didn t work for the first three days of my stay, despite my complaints to the front desk. I asked to speak to a manager who never got back to me. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend anyone stay here.
About the hotel: A nice , quite place. But the security is not good. Three bungalows missed after one evening mobilephones, a watch and money. If you stay there, please use the safes at the front desk.
About the hotel: Nice location right at the beach. Very nice architecture, style of the bungalows. The hotel had a just opened spa with excellent massage! Service was friendly but with lots of misunderstandings due to the poor command of english among the personell. Nice pool with a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains! Two problems though: the resturant was expensive and not very good. The beach was not as nice as we had hoped for. Not crystal clear water and with lots of stones and pebbles, not as soft as we would have liked.
About the hotel: Accomodation:
Very nice rooms that have good facilities and very clean. Beach and pool
area is great. Really made the effort with the pool area and surrounding
gardens. Restaurant and reception areas are in need of fans. Free internet
access would be nice. Accomodation at half the price offers free internet.
Food:
Breakfast was just acceptable. Some problems need sorting (eg: ants and
mosquitos in jam, running out of food and cutlery when faced with 10 or more
guests in restaurant).
We had one lunch and one evening meal in the restaurant. Both meals were by
the far the worst we had on the island. The wrong meals arrived, they were
poor quality and very expensive. Service was shocking. I would advise people
to stay there but not eat in the restaurant. My advice for eating is O2
restaurant at Khai Bae, 15 Palms at White Sand and the Italian at White
Sand. Grab a moped for 150 baht per day and try the places on the beach at
White Sand.

About the hotel: The Barali Beach Resort is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. We stayed in a Deluxe villa which was very clean and well furnished, with a good sized balcony and a beautiful bathroom. The pool area and gardens were well maintained and there were always enough sunbeds by the pool or on the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful although their English was sometimes limited. The hotel restaurant was okay and was reasonably priced but there are many other alternatives a short walk along the beach or on the main road (500m). The other resorts are only a short ride away if you wish to experience more lively nightlife. There was no evidence of any building work going on while we were there.

By Private Car : For convenience and better road surface, take the
elevated Bangkok-Chonburi Toll way until its final exit or the
Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway and exit for Ban Bung-Klaeng-Chantaburi
By Air :
A new airport at Leam Ngop is currently operated by the
privately-owned Bangkok Airways. Trat is conveniently linked to
Bangkok and other key tourist destinations such as Phuket, Samui,
Hua-Hin, etc. Using their 72-seater ATF aircraft, the flying time
from Bangkok to Trat will be shortened to just 45 minutes. You can
expect easy connections to the pier from there.
By Ferry :
Leam Ngop Pier, the main pier, ferries from this pier depart every
hour. Traveling time is about 30 minutes.
