"Samed Cliff Resort" is located on the private "Noi-Nha" Beach of Samed Island, Rayong. The Resort is surrounded with clear seawater, white beach and tranquility natural forest. Our bungalows are structured near the beach and stepped up the hill so all our bungalow units have spectacular sea view. With the newly renovated bungalows, you can particularly enjoy the breathtaking scenery from inside your room through the floor-ceiling glass window as well as relaxing and absorbing sea breeze and sunset from your balcony. Only 30 minutes by ferry or 10 minutes by speed boat, you can experience the unforgettable experience on Samed Island.
About the hotel: Very nice hotel, nice staff. Very nice island. Clean rooms, good service. Very good food in the restaurant. Unfortunately only tiny beach. Spare but good breakfast
About the hotel: Overall.. good!! Nice quality of the bungalow. Seaview. But very off and calm, not close to the beach. You need your motorbike or 15-20 min walk to get to the nice beaches and restaurants and places where things happen..
About the hotel: Samed Clff Resort was exactly what we were looking for. Our kids loved the pool and ocean swimming. The main town is not too far away if you want to go. The staff were very helpful with all our requests and bookings. We will stay here again.
About the reservation service: Booking service was excellent. The hotel was ready for our arrival and there were no problems throughout.
About the hotel: The hotel was quite nicely laid out and the bedrooms were very large. However, the sitting room was small with gigantic chairs in it. There were no room facilities for coffee and tea. We were provided with an urn and then a jug of sorts. The breakfast was adequate but lacked variety. The beds were large but the sheets had grains of sand on them. We enjoyed the quiet outlook and the ability to travel to the Main Beach. There was no cable tv channels and we dont understand Thai.
About the reservation service: The booking service was efficient.
About the hotel: If You want to be in paradise, please visit this place. If You want to be only one on the pleasant VERY SUNNY beach go to Koh Samet in rainy season. Not recommended for young people that need more entertainment. Hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly.
About the reservation service: All was perfectly done.
About the hotel: Very peaceful location, only for those who want to be by themselves. Good service and the bungalows were clean and practical. Worth a stay.
About the reservation service: Basic booking service. Nothing bad nor good to say.
About the hotel: nice hotell. a bit far from all the acction om saikew beach. we rented a motorbike to get around. nice deck terrasse in front of our room with a nice view of the sea. avarage standard. not breakfast buffe , you have to order. very cold in the romm ac had 2 sets on or off. sometimes the room felt lika an igloo.
About the hotel: The location of this hotel was excellent, away from the rowdy bars and restaurants on the other side of the island. The beaches were superb. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the photos I saw on the Internet did not do it justice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

another easier way to get to Ban-Phe is to take a bus from Ekkamai station
on Sukhumvit road. When you enter the station, the ticket counter is on
your left hand side with the company (or Bus) called "Cherd Chai Tour".
Your required destination is Bangkok - Ban-Phe (not Bangkok - Rayong). The
Bus departs every hour from Bangkok start from 5.00 am until 8.30 pm and
from Ban-Phe, The bus will also leave every hour from Bus Station Terminal

Ferry to Samed Island
:
Traveling to Samed Island is easy. There are many
piers operating ferry lines from Ban-Phe mainland, such as Nuantip Pier
and Phe Pier, to various beaches on Samed Island. The main pier on Samed
Island is called "Na Dan Pier" which is the most popular pier because it
is the closest point from Ban-Phe. The ferries to Na Dan Pier leave everyday
from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. The journey usually take around 35 - 40 minutes
depends on the weather. After you arrive at Na Dan Pier, you will have to
take "Songtaew" (local open-aired taxi) to get to Samed Cliff Resort which
will take about 10 minutes.
How to get around the island :
Generally walking
and "Songtaew" (local open-aired taxi) are the main modes of transport.
You can ask the reception at the resort to call Songtaew to come and pick
you up at the resort. The cost varies depending upon the beaches that your
would like to go since the distance counts as well as your negotiating skill.
If you are more adventurous type, you can rent a motorcycle and ride around
the island. Samed Island has only one road going from north to south with
tracks running from it. Proper concrete road track runs only from Noi-Nha
Beach to Saikaew Beach. The rest of the road track is unpaved and red dirt
road, especially to the south of the island so travelers should have the
strong motorcycle riding skill in order to ride to the south of the island.
