Arun Raghavan 2009-05-29	Sawasdee Siam, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) The hotel is well located though a 15 minute walk from the beach and Walking Street. There are all services provided that one may require on a holiday, just outside the hotel. Cleanliness is good. Make sure you have your complimentary breakfast by 9.30 as after that they do not provide anything.	Very good
Gudmund Froiland 2009-04-01	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) While checked in the lady in rceception was not happy when i told i booked wia internett.Here attitu changed as soon i told. She replyed ok but than she needed my e-mail confirming bokking and payment. Asked if i could open mail and she print. She reply sorry no printer.I had to find a internett shop and do the printing myself ? Wherry unplesant behaveor when arriving a hotell. The rooms on the hotell where worn and on the batroom the floor where wet at al time. No cover on shower.Hotell had a nise swimmingpool area and a goo pool.	Booking worked fine.Was informed by booking i need to show passport for indentify myself but on the hotell i had to show resit from booking and payment which i didnt have. Had to go and find internet shop and print bring to reseption. If needed it should say while booking.
PHILIP CHEETHAM 2009-01-02	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) This hotel is in a lively location and is very good value for the price.However, I would not recommend it to families or people wishing for an early night as the bars outside play loud music until around 2 am. I enjoyed my stay, the staff were very nice and breakfast was ok.
Mr.Tony 2008-12-16	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) This is my first encounter with a inefficient customer service at a hotel s check-in counter in Thailand. With the booking reference No is insufficient at the reception desk,need to produce a printed copy of the comfirmation booking,this can be done at the hotel,however receptionist ask customer to print them from a internet shop across the road a short distance away. Towel was not available in the room. The aisle lights was not turn on, I was greeted with darkness at 7.30pm. The attendant at the poolside bar was impolite.Some ulgy scence-allowing bare body customer to take breakfast, scrapping the tray while replenishing the buffet breakfast, positioning herself blocking custommer viewing television.Advice that some staff needs training on \ Custommer Service\	Excellent
Narintra Rungroj 2008-10-25	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) I stayed there on 24/10/2008. I booked 2 rooms for me and my friends. We check in about 05.00 Pm. We got room No. 103, 104. Staff so friendly. But have cats near by the front desk. I though it s not good looking for customer and dirty. Should not have any animal in the hotel. And when we open the rooms we got. Have a lot of water on the floor. Because Just finished raining and the water come from the window. Because the window can not lock it s damage. I called to reception to told them about this problem and need some help from cleaner. But not have anybody came to clean our room. So i go talked with receptionish so they change new room for us! to be 602, 604 but we have the same problem have a lot of water on the floor. but the cleaner come to clean for us. But the room it s clean.	I have E-Voucher in my e-mail after i paid for my reservation. But in the morning the date i traveling. i try to print out voucher to check in. But i can t because hotmail it s out of service in the moment. So i called to talked with staff in web sawadee she told me can give the Rev No. to the reception and ID card easy to check in. But when i arrive the hotel i do the same way staff in web sawadee recommend to me but staff in the hotel don t allow for check in. they need me show voucher. So made me confuse!!

Cecil Forbes 2008-04-12 until 2008-04-25	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) Siam Sawasdee Hotel in Pattaya Location is very good - I travelled with 5 guys on a golfing tour. We generally found the rooms tobe neat and serviced every day by two friendly ladies always willing to be of assistance. My friend Colin Lines in room 605 had a problem with his bathroom basin which he reported the first day he arrived. Two weeks later the bathroom basin remained blocked and his telephone was still not working (he also reported a faulty telephone). I personally as well as other members of my group experienced very bad service in the restaurant at breakfast time. The rude and arrogant manager always had a reason why we could not get omelettes as we found the fried eggs half cooked, cold and repulsive. The tablecloths were filthy. Some members of our group hardly ever had breakfast at the hotel preferring to go to the Butchers bar across the road where we had most of our meals. The reception staff as well as the staff at the swimming pool were great. Generally not a happy experience for my group and I doubt if I ever will visit Siam hotel in Pattaya or Sawasdee hotels in Thailand again as I will be taking tour groups to Thailand about 4 times a year in the future. Previously I stayed at the Sawasdee Seaview Hotel in Pattaya and left after 2 days because of the poor condition of the hotel - nothing like the pics on the websites. Restaurant is Bad ,bad, bad, for western food ,ok for Thai food.. toast in morning only thing edible, plenty of alternatives near by. Swimming pool gets full early. Reception staff friendly and very cheeky always looking for tips. Not happy with Clean sheets twice in 7 days . Air conditioning very noisy. Shower was a trickle of hot water. Deposit required for safety deposit box. Internet access via pre Paid card.	quick and easy

(Central) I never stay att this Hotel again,When I arriwe 14.00 the first room they give me was not cleaned,second room same, I have to give money to roommaid to have room cleaned before evening. And the ladys in reception was not nice but if they se young farlang without girl they have big smile.The only good thing with Hotel is the room price.So if you like to stay here think twice.	Very very good I have use Sawadee.com many times and will use again

They initially refused to let us check in until we presented a paper receipt for payment even though we had booked over the internet. We were given no inidication during the booking process that we would need to present anything when checking in. One staff member started shouting at us when we said that we had booked over the internet and hence didn t have a paper receipt. Eventually we were allowed to check in however they still insisted we go to an internet cafe and print off a copy of our receipt for them even though they already had a copy themselves! I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and this is the first time anyone has shouted at me! If it wasn t for the fact that I was tied in by already having paid for the stay I would definitely have walked out.	See above, overall level of customer service from the hotel was very poor. The booking service was OK however we were given no indication we would need to print our a receipt and present it to the hotel when checking in.

Terri Haley 2007-01-07 until 2007-01-09	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) Very disappointed in accommodations. Hotel run down. Staff was indifferent. Although it was clean for the most part it did not match up to what was on the web. There was loud music all night long and our rooms overlooked a vacant lot filled with garbage. While by the pool we did notice that out of about 40 guests we were the only female visitors and the rest were men accompanied by young Thai women serving them. They do have night security to help with the scuffles amongst the men and their female guests. I would not recommend this hotel for famliy stays. It would be okay for just single men looking for nightly companions.	Booking with Sawadee was easy and had no porblems. Will use them again and again. Thans again Miss. Grace!
Lee Ka Yi 2007-01-06 until 2007-01-08	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) It is an extremely bad hotel. The counter staff is unhelpful, impolite. After I got the room, I found it very dirty in toilet, bed sheet. My room is 524, the window is face to a ground, there has a thai show around 2000 to 2300, very noisy. In my bed, there has many bugs come out, makes me inch everywhere, we found around 20 bugs over that night. I don t book this hotel anymore. This is the first & last.	When I told them, I booked a room from the web, the staff seems not understand. After I show them the email receipt, then they call somewhere (I don t know what they call), then they give me a room.

(Central) The Siam Sawasdee Hotel is a good Hotel with a very reasonable price per night in a very central point in Pattaya,i have stayed here on several occasssions and have found the staff to be very helpfull and polite, it has a good Swimming Pool,and is very clean.I will be back in Thailand in Dec. 2006 and will be staying in the Siam Sawasdee Hotel where i know i will be made very welcome. I t is a good Reasonably priced Hotel in a good Location.	The Booking Service is Second to none, very helpfull,and very fast and i will be using it again very soon.
Rajender Naware 2006-05-09 until 2006-05-12	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) There was no bathing tub as expected. The room was very small. The hotel was situated very far from the beach. But I booked this hotel only because it was nearer to the beach in the website map. The food was nice. The cleaning staff stole one cigratte pack from my room and I was asked to pay for it while checking out. But over all the hotel was good comparing to the price what you pay.	Very good website. Very easy to book hotels at cheap rates

The swimming pool was excellent and customer service was first class. All in all it was a very good hotel and I will be booking again, hopefully in December. : )	first class, no problems at all

The rooms are a bit different from what they look on your website, but in relation to the price they are acceptable. The hotel staff was very friendly and I would recommend your hotel to any budget conscious traveller.	Acceptable and prompt.

(Central) the water did not run hot ever, i got infected by the water in the hotel. the laos music next to the hotel was going till 2am, the house keeping phone at the end of the hall kept ringing day and night, all the staff were friendly and helpfull, all in all not very good!	not a problem as always. thank you

JONATHAN LEE 2005-10-29 until 2005-11-26	Siam Sawasdee, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (Central) For me, Siam Sawasdee offers the best of both worlds for anyone visiting Pattaya. For those who want to explore Pattaya, its only a 10 min walk to beach road, not too far, but also not close enough to suffer the endless noise and traffic 24/7. For those who prefer to lounge around the hotel, it has a restaurant, 24 hour bar, a massage parlour, salon and a tailors ( Yes I have bought suits from there, and they are good quality! ). Within a 50 square meter radius of the hotel, theres a 7 eleven, laundry service, atm, forex, postal service and numerous bars. The staff are always friendly, and theres always a securtiy guard at the gate and at reception if your worried about personal safety. The rooms are basic, as expected, but service more than makes up the lack of luxury. My rooms have always been cleaned well, and minibar stocked daily. In fact, the only problem Ive ever had is with other farangs who treat the locals, and staff like garbage. The amount of times Ive nearly beat the crap out of guys who dont show respect. Try and speak German, Englsih, Polish, Swedish, French, Japanese and Chinese. Then youll discover what its like to be a receptionist, please guys be patient!!!	Excellent, no problems at all!

I just told them i have a reserved a room through the net and show them some document about my booking. They knew what to do and gave me the key. Everything was prefect until we reached the room. The room was a disappointment. It wasn t as what it looked like in the net. The room was big but there only one ceiling light in the room. The branket was old(but clean)and needed replacement. The air-con wasn t working well too, had a hard time sleeping at night. The swimming pool was nice but needed higher structure wall to block outsiders from looking inside to the pool.	The booking was smooth, the working staffs were all friendly and nice.

Hotel premises are OK and staff friendly but change of reservation or anything else cause automatically a confusion.	Prepaid system is not good. Pay at check out is the best way of payment.

But the rooms and the furniture are old; the TV is very small, no remote control. Breakfast is good and diversified (Thai and European food). But unfortunately the reception is very unfriendly. We arrived at 8:00 pm, our room was not ready. It was told to us that we have to wait for 10 minutes, finally we had to wait nearly 60 minutes to get our room. And the room wasn t cleaned completely. At check-out we should pay for things from the mini bar that we didn t used (probably the mini bar wasn t filled up before we came into the room...). Staff react very unpolite and rude! We will not come again!	No problems! Good and prompt service, very good prices!

(Central) It is a budget hotel and that shows in the rooms, but the rooms are cleaned daily and the bedclothes and towels are changed daily. The people of the reception are very friendly and helpful, I concider this a good hotel.	Excellent.

Nice facilities: lock box, restaurant and pool. Live music nightly across street at Richpub s. I think that taxi convenience/hotel location needs to be weighed into the hotel selection process. In the future I will get a place between 1st and 2nd Avenue, where those taxis run.	Booking was painfree, especially with that relay credit card service. Keep those emails! No refunds means no refunds. I had to reshuffle dates and they were compliant as long as I was within the number of days originally paid for in advance. When I got there, there was no record of me ever having a reservation; luckily I had a copy/email handy upon arrival.
