Only problem was that the clothes hanger was in the bathroom and had no door. Friendly staff and always willing to help.	fast and efficient, no problems at all.

(North) This hotel is in a good location, and with the aid of a very long pole with a mirror attached to the end you do get a sea view.However, my room was small and tatty. B wing rooms are much better. The staff are nice, breakfast nothing special.	Excellent

Everything, including breakfast, hotel employees, quality of the rooms, privacy and splendid personalities was refreshing! I will stay with this hotel upon my next Pattaya visit.	Booking service was good...only hitch was that the hotel did not have my reservation when I arrived...after a long flight, I spent 20 minutes working through the check-in process. It was 0300 and all I wanted was a room and a beer! All was fine by the next morning and the rest of my stay was optimum.

(North) i would say the 1000baht room is damm big..really worth of the money paid..the room is big and even had bath tub..how can it said to be the best budget hotel?..it can consider a good hotel..but i wanna say that front office personnels isnt that very friendly..for example, the front office personnel when i checked was not very friendly to other guest..and one more was a pregnant lady..she wasnt very friendly too..however, i did met a good front office personnel the rest of my days there.. breakfast served were so so only..not very interesting....

The hotel is quite hard to find actually and you dun really get any sea view either ha. receptionist is quite attitude and always had a piss off look on regardless of what. I requested for 2 twin bed rooms but was given 2 double bed rooms. The staff did not check the items in the hotel carefully before letting us check in. One of the room didn t come with ask tray, i thought it s becos i requested non smoking rooms, however during checking out the staff wanted us to account for the missing ask tray.	1st time using so it s a bit uncertain for me. But everything went well. website can undergo some facelifting to give it a more credible image. But on the whole everything went well

When we come in the room in the evening,we were so frustrated, but it was much older than you can see in the pictures and expected. It was also a quite poor breakfast as well, the only thing was good that it is located at close the sea beach. ks & seon from Vietnam I will send some photos taken from the room during my stays.there was no cover available for chamber pot and the toilet door frame was worn out without repairing....

The location is everything in this hotel. Everything else is ok but not outstanding. A budget hotel that delivers fair value.

(North) Unfortunately the room that i reserve was not available when i came in so had to seddle for less and the tv was not working to so i will not go back to that hotel.	The booking was ok, but be sure to have photocopies of confirmation and payment when u arrived because if u dont they dont know nothing with your name at the hotel.

(North) good location..but the room was not clean enought..we hv taken 2 rm..1 rm air corn not functioning well and e other room s window was break by somebody..feel unsecure to stay there..we had tried to called reception to asked for a room changed but was rejected..unfriendly front office staff...overall..only a gd location towards the beach..but not a gd choice to stay	good..efficient

First time in Thailand I do not receive even a good afternoon or a welcome. When I checked in at 3pm there were no towels in room, I had them at 7pm! Staff unfriendly, rough, unpolite, looks like they feel hassled by customers. Never never had such a treatment in Thailand. Prices at front desk are half of internet, this is unfair, really. I checked out one day before my reservation expired, they didn t even wonder why, they just didn t care of what was going on in the hotel.	As always, very good service, but prices at front desk are half of internet, this is unfair.

The room was very basic not what i expected looking on the web site at the pictures, room was a bit scruffy not much room to hang clothes & that was in the bathroom??? strange??....They didnt seem to bothered that i was checking out. I will not stay there again.	booking was easy.

No bathtub or showercabin. Like all Hotels in Southeastasia problems with black fungus in the bathroom	Booking service was perfect as always

I like to go swimming and so it was a good place for me. And it is very cloth to the BeachRoad ;-) The breakfast-buffet offers a good variety.	very good.

(North) This was my second visit to sea view, the first one was good but this time i was disapointed.The room smelt damp, the curtains would not close, i had to wedge them up every night.The woman in reception had a bad attitude. Central location on Soi 10 just up from Beach Road for going to the beach. Breakfast buffet was ok. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Pattaya.	Sawadee.com made booking all my lodgings very easy. Received all vouchers, and got good internet rates for all of the places I stayed. I will continue to use this service and would recommend it for other Thailand travelers.
Tim Sharpe 2007-09-28 until 2007-10-06	Sawadee Sea View, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Terrible hotel! We sadly booked 2 rooms for 8 nights in the deluxe rooms and prepaid them. The location is good (central pattaya) and the rooms large, but that is where the praise stops! The hotel is ran-down and old. One of our rooms we needed to change as the bath was broken (plug faulty) and had no hot water, there was also a brown ugly stain on the wall. The staff at all levels speak next to no english. The included breakfast are some rubber like eggs and a random (dull) thai dish that changes every few days. The seating in the restaurant is plastic deck chairs and wobbly tables. The room service is fast but terrible, we were also short changed by the staff and you can not sign for extras. Would not stay here again and never recommend! Spend a little extra and get something nicer. If we stayed in the deluxe rooms I would hate to imagine the cheaper ones.

Being a budget hotel I feel I got very good value for money. Check-in was quick and with a smile, although some of the staff had a broader smile than others. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the a/c working as it should. Big fridge. Only thing on the minus side is poor noise reduction between the rooms, could hear my neighbor pulling the shower curtain! Breakfast was included in room rate and was OK, nothing special, but for both western and Thai taste. Can recommend the hotel and would stay there again.	The booking was hassle free and quick. No problems at all.

Paul 2007-07-07 until 2007-07-14	Sawadee Sea View Wing B, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Very good location, a stones throw from the beach. And very close to the beer bar clusters at soi 7 and 8. It is also only a short walk along beach road (or 20 baht in the insistently beeping baht bus) to the famous Walking Street. I stayed in a superior double, which was spot on: Modern room, reasonably spacious and very clean, also had cable with a range of channels. The bathroom was also fine, clean with decent shower. It is a budget hotel, but all in all, it was excellent value for money hotel. I would stay here again and recommend it.

It could be a bit cleaner and 1 towel per person is just not enough. However the ratio price to what you get for it can hardly be beaten. I will probably book again next time in Thailand

(North) This wasn t my first choice of hotel, but since the others I wanted were all booked up, this is the one I got. It was a decent hotel considering my needs for my trip. The room was spacious enough and the bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was certainly adequate. The TV reception was OK with some movie channels showing some awful D grade flicks. It was a popular choice for single male travellers and their friends , so if you re into that sort of thing then I guess it s going to be good for you. I certainly didn t have any problems sleeping. The breakfast was reasonable but hardly was I d consider to be memorable. It was good enough to get something into my stomach and head off for the day. The hotel was centrally located on a quiet street (it certainly scored highly with that), but there were some beer bars down the Second Road end with some pushy girls at night.	No problems - very helpful and prompt replies which helped a lot considering how busy it was.

(North) When my friend and I arrived at the Sawadee Seaview Hotel we were informed the air-con was broken and as the hotel was full the management had to put us in another Sawadee hotel which turned out to be quite bad. After one night they moved us back to the Seaview which we booked and we got an upgrade as compensation for the inconvenience. Overall I d say the management was quite good as they apologised for the trouble, transported us free of charge, gave us an upgrade and we forgave them as the air-con trouble was not their intention. The hotel was well located, the room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable and the service courteous. No complaints anywhere except the breakfast was -- well only so so.	Sawadee.com s service was well up to par. The reply to our enquiries was prompt, the prices quoted reasonable and the service reliable. I ll definitely use them again and again everytime I travel to Thailand.

The room is nice and you get cleaning every day, not and the best cleaning I have ever seen, they clean only what they see in the main part of the room. But at least you get service every day. The restaurant and the breakfast area is like you are in the beach, with plastic chairs and tables. As for the breakfast is quite good, I only had it once, I could not wake up (breakfast time 7:30-10:30). It has many cooked things like steam rise, bacon, eggs and during our second week we noticed that the buffet was bigger. The thing that made us furrious was in our departure that we payed 450 baht for day use for the one room and we had to check out 16:00 were everywhere is 18:00, as also that we left our thing to the reception and they asked for 100 baht for 1 hour. In general the hotel was good value for money even if there is no sea view, as the title says!

When we checked-in around 3pm the room was readily available. twas roomy and tidy. good aircon system, lighting is Ok, ref has the basic stuff, hot & cold water is working well, although there was a little leak from the tub running down the toilet area (but tolerable), corridors are silent, breakfast buffet was just about right. Over-all, it s worth every penny.	I booked on-line. The response was less than a day.

The hotel is clear but the door key is not good because it is easily open on the room outside. The breakfast is ok because all the thing I can eat. I will book this hotel again.	Its good! The room was clean, staff spoke english. I thought the location was fine, a 10 baht taxi to anywhere you wanted to go. The location is great, just a 1 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are big, bright, clean, and quiet. For the price, you can t ask for more. I would definitely stay there again. Great value.	Excellent! Fast, efficient, and easy to use. I used this service to book all of my hotels and am very satisfied.

Breakfast is mediocre, but it has some value in that there is rice and noodles, which one can fill up on and limit calories. Negatives: I didn t get an ocean view room. No in room safe. Some noise, but only from adjacent rooms. No construction noise. Poor video on the various TV channels. Overall, rate this a 7. I d stay there again. The negatives were minor, but were there a place nearby with those negatives fixed, I d be gone.	No problems booking. The hotel will ask of a credit card deposit to hold the room, and you need to do that in high season. I did, and suffered no damage.

My suite was facing Soi 10 and had very nice seaview from the balcony...Stuf Ok, but can not coment much as I did not have much of contacts with them...So far I had no bad experience with anybody at the reception in any of the hotels I stayd in Thailand in my 21 visits there.Treat them with the respect they will treat you with respect.It is Thai way of doing things. Basicaly very good experience and will be back there on my next stay...Allready recomended to my friend who will go there next week	No hassle...Very efficient and reliable...

Excellent rates and very good location. Friendly staff and they allow guests without treating them rudely or interrogation. No in room safe, but safe deposit boxes at the front desk allow for safe keeping of important documents. I have stayed twice and enjoyed my stay both times.	On line rates are excellent, but requiring full payment in advance is a little discomforting. Potential for bad service in Thailand is high and full payment up front leaves little recourse if you are treated poorly and wish to change hotels. As it happens I have been very satisfied with the service on both of my visits, but I am opposed in principle to paying for the entire stay before even arriving at the hotel.

Nice room with a nice bathroom. STaff is often busy as it is a popular hotel. slow resteraunt staff, but that s about the only negative that I can think of.	Prepaid arrangements usually bother me, but the value was worth the money up front

Mere steps to the beach and within easy walking distance to all the shopping and nightlife. As well, the room was clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and quiet. For roughly $22 Canadian dollars, I consider it to be a steal. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.	Booking service was fast, efficient, and easy. Can t ask for anything more.

(North) Sawasdee Krap!! i had a blast in Pattaya with couple of friends and we enjoy our stay cuz the location is very good. 2 mins walk to the beach, surrounded by shopping places, situated in between HARDROCK HOTEL and ROYAL GARDEN PLAZA/ MIKE SHOPPING MALL. The rooms are spaces, clean, bright and colourful. Most of all, the room rate is reasonable. The Frontdesk Staffs aren t that friendly but the Chambermaids are and helpful too. Due to the rooms great conditions and location, made me join the Sawasdee Membership. My friends and i will definitely back to Pattaya and stay there again.	I did our rooms Booking online . It was Fast/ Prompt and Convenient. Keep up the good working...... Kop Koon Krap !!
