Hattich Reinhold Gunter & Franz Dorner 2008-07-27 until 2008-07-29	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. Meine Familie war schon fuenf Mal an der Jomtien Beach. Bisher schon waren wir mit den Hotels hier sehr zufrieden, haben aber bisher immer das Hotel gewechselt, um etwas Abwechslung zu haben. Dieses Mal jedoch waren wir mit dem Hotel so zufrieden, dass wir das naechste Mal wieder hierherkommen. Herrliches, taeglich wechselndes Fruehstueck (man kann es wohl eher mit dem Wort )Brunch( beschreiben. 3 superschoene, grosse Swimmingpools. Ein wirklich riesiges Zimmer und, und , und ... Koennte fuer diesen Preis (nur 3-stoeckiges Chalet Wing - 1350 Baht) gar nicht genug ins Schwaermen kommen. Vielleicht sind nur die Cottages am )Shamu-Pool( besser. Wirklich sehr, sehr empfehlenswert (nicht unbedingt im Haupthaus ein Zimmer nehmen - vielleicht zu lebhaft und anonym) Anbindung nach Pattaya einfach: Alle Minute kommt ein Songthaew (Sammeltaxi) und faehrt fuer 20 Baht in die Stadt, ganz egal wo man aussteigt. Strand gut zum Relaxen, sauber und mit einfachem, aber guten Service. Seven e eleven fuer guenstige Getraenke 20 m vom Strand. Sehr empfehlenswert fuer Familien!	Wie immer! Absolut schnell, zuverlaessig und sicher. Empfehlenswert einfach.
NG Bjorkelund 2008-06-03 until 2008-06-15	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. Grand Jomtien is a nice hotel. So is the chalet ving, with the swimmingpools. But, a strange situation occured here and i would like to tell about it. I booked 2 rooms in my name. No problems with Sawadee booking. Thai family of my wife was supposed to stay in room 2. When arriving reseption said problem with my booking, I could not have 2 rooms and rooms was more expensive for a thai. (first time I experienced in Thailand that anything is more expencive for a thai than for a foreigner) I was then charged extra 300 THB/ night. Since Sawadee booking say money paid is not refundable and I allready had paid 30000 THB for the rooms I felt i had no choice but to pay extra 300 THB for 10 nights (3000 THB). My wife checked by phone room rate for Thai and she was told 1550 THB witch was 200 THB over the price I paid on Internett.Strange? Well, 3,5 Years ago I was att this same hotel with the thai family of my wife in one of two booked rooms and paid by me. No question about extra charge for thai that time, Strange? In this case I am not happy with the hotel and their way of doing business This was my 3 time on grand Jomtien and propably my last time. Presenting to customers/guests this kind of strange charges is not a clever way to do business or run a hotel. And, plenty of cats running around in the chalet ving without owners. I dislike it when cats go around close to the trolley where the bed linnen is. A cat also had given birth inside the hotel. And also 3 dogs (no tag, not vaccinated) and propably without ower also living in the swimmingpool area. The wild life should be cleaned up on the hotel...	Good But why was I not told that I could not have 2 rooms in my name at grand jomtien?

After 4 weeks of spending a lot of money we decided to have 2 last low-budget days on the beach before we d have to move back to Europe. Well, this hotel was an excellent choice! Make sure you book ocean view.. it s just €5,- more per room per night and you ll have a boulevard/ocean/pool view at night and the next morning. GOOD VALUE for your money! You could see the hotel is old, because the bathtub showed some brown corrosion spots, the carpet was old and had many spots, and the tv and remote wasn t working properly anymore, but hey! you re not in thailand to watch tv, so I m very satisfied about the hotel, because it was very clean, the bed/matrass was very good and the breakfast was great (a lot of choice!), staff was friendly. Very close to beach and if you have to be in Chon Buri, Jomtien is a much better choice than Pattaya, because it s quiet on the beach and you don t notice anything of the industry going on in Pattaya. If you leave hotel, it s only 20 steps (1 minute) away from the sea/water. Only minor thing: the small elevators. There were only 2 elevators and sometimes we had to wait for the next round because only 4 adults can take place in the elevator. Overall opinion: Best value for money, in other words: Excellent! We had a Deluxe room at 8.th floor with a nice look over the beach from our balcony.Room is a little bit old and need renovation. Breakfast very good and change every day. The staf very helpful and polite. We realy injoid our visit and be back there next time/year. Its also very closed to testaurants and shops.	Very fast and easy
K. Thomas 2007-10-02 until 2007-10-30	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. The Grand Jomtien Palace is a fabulous hotel. The service is fantastic and the two large pools are great. Pool bar service is second to none. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the staff are great. Away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya but near enough to get a Bath Bus to the centre. Many bars and restaurants nearby and right opposite the Jomtien beach. I have stayed here twice now for a month each time and highly recommend it. Not many English guests but that doesnt bother me. I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand and Jomtien, this is the best.	The booking as always is easy and efficient.

Jennifer Rodger 2007-08-11 until 2007-08-17	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. beautfiul resort, very spacious rooms in the Grand Chalet Wing by the pool. front desk staff not completely helpful and sometimes misleading with information. they did not go out of their way to satisfy the customer. would recommend this hotel, but only if you are happy not to have to deal with the desk staff. the gym was being refurbished, and this was not advised, even when i email for confirmation. this hotel was a little overpriced but in alovely spot, just a short bus ride to Pattaya and south Jomtien.

The staff where friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.	OK, but we had som minor issues when we wanted to extend our stay.

The pool area was great.Only negative was the gym??!!A defect multigym a bench and a barbell(10kg)with 60kg weights.Perfect if you want to live away from the bar streets and don t have the need of a hotel gym. Bars,gym and shopping not to far away with taxi. Would stay again.	God service as always.Easy and fast.
Jan 2007-04-02 until 2007-04-07	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. Ok hotel. Good restaurants og bars. Nice view from the room. We had a Superior room. It was worn, and needed renovation. (Like most of the hotel) We tried to get a better room, but was told they were fully booked. That was not true because the hotel was almost empty. Nice and friendly staff.	Very good

Kenneth Thomas 2006-09-12 until 2006-10-09	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. I have just arrived home after staying for 4 weeks at the Grand Jomtien Hotel. We had the most marvelous time the hotel was really lovely, three pools to chose from, the main pool being really large with plenty of sunbeds. The pool staff are super, serving coffee and snacks all day. The restaurant in the evening was great serving a variety of european and Thai food. Not at all expensive and if you eat Thai food it was very cheap and well prepared.The rooms are clean and bedding is changed and towels everyday. A pool towel is also provided. This is the best 3 star hotel I have stayed in in Thailand or anywhere else for that matter,. The staff were so polite and willing to help with any problems or questions. The hotel is right across the road to Jomptien beach and in easy reach of Pattaya night life by a Baht Bus. There are also many bars within walking distance. I will be back soon brilliant.	As always the service is quick and easy to use.

Spacious & clean rooms with free bottled drinking water provided. Just one comment - swimming pool in the hotel is closed by 6pm & the Grand pool by 7pm.	Fast response & provide alternative solution when hotel is fully booked.

A W & L J CHALMERS 2005-08-02 until 2005-08-05	Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel, Jomtien Beach Rd. A rather tired hotel. Somewhat isolated from activity. Beach directly opposite and two good pools at the hotel. Hotel food mediocre. If you ask for a rollaway bed be prepared to sleep on boards!!!	Excellent

The hotel room was also good.Price for room service was also not expencive. The location is very close to the beach with a few restaurants ans mimi supermarkeds. Not so much restaurants and shops in the hotel area but for a few bath a lot of taxi,s are waiting in front of the hotel. We will visit this hotel again because the price is very good for what you get!	Good!
