Mr Adrian Jones 2008-11-06	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Clean hotel and friendly staff though building work going on around both pools so quite noisy during the day. Hotel location is surrounded by bars and restaurants so the bar girls are very in your face. Pattaya is not a suitable resort for young families.	Easy to use and efficient.

Norman Schwarz 2008-10-23	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Rooms, breakfast and faclilities are ok and value for the money. Around the big pool is a building construction in progress, a litle bit noisy. One negative thing happened: Something was stolen from my room. But this is the only i can complain about.	excellent as known.

(North) another great year in pattaya ,,, the hotel again was first class ,, a great price for a 3 star hotel,, the building work was a little bit noisey ,,but next year it will be all finished ,, the staff where very helpfull as always ,, the rooms very big and very clean ,, cant wait to book again for march ,, thanks again areca for a great stay ,,,,	cheap , and very good ... will book again with sawadee ,,, thanks ,,,,

(North) Hotel is in a great location,but there is a lot of building work going on at present(oct 08)therefore hammering from early morning also locals next door rear fighting bantam cocks and this animals wake you at 06-00am each morning espially if you stay in the rear part of the hotel.Would not return to this hotel until until all building work has been completed approx dec 09	excellent used it 5 times during trip

Kamolthip Thansawangdumrong 2008-10-02	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) This hotel is good, comfortable and clean. The food are good. Environmental is good also. When I checked in the receptionist I guest she s a leader or something. Loudly noice but she s very find after met her next day. I recommend this hotel.	cheaper than other website. Booking is good although many steps. But i m very satisfy with this website. I ll book though this website again.
CHEUNG MAN PUI WILSON 2008-10-01	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) A 3-star price hotel but with 5-star facilities and services.Rooms are clean n spacious and with 2 swimming pools. Location is in the middle and Macdonald,Mike are nearby.Tariff is very reasonable and i must recommend this hotel to all who want to pay a visit to Pattaya.	Quick n efficient.

JEFFREY SWILKS 2008-09-28	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) I stayed at Areca in late September 2008 and it was a great experience. Rooms clean and more than adequate for the price. Pool was excellent and my teenage children enjoyed it. Areca is well located and central to most things in Pattaya. Breakfast was more than adequate for both western and oriental tastes as I sampled both finding it much better than many other hotels of a similar level we stayed at in Thailand. Only disappointment was not being able to get in again a week later due to the hotel being full. I will definitely stay there again if I return to Pattaya. My only negative comment is the number of older western men staying with young Thai girls at the hotel - however if that upsets you dont bother coming to Pattaya as that is the norm.	Very efficient and easy to use.

Anthony Battin 2008-09-18	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Again the best of the numerous hotels I have stayed in Thailand. Will definitely be going back, hopefully in April. Staff are great (Lek on the front reception is terrific) Yu s bar over the road is also very good as are most of them.	Terrific, no problems yet and have used them about a dozen times. Thank you.

Johnny Soencksen 2008-09-11	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) In Executive Room. Nice big clean room, a very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Good and clean pool. Cheap (50 bath/day) but not free internet. I will go there again, if i go to Pattaya again.	Without any problems.

Tan YY 2008-08-26	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) nice and clean hotel with 2 pools. worth for money. the restaurant of hotel provide good food with reasonable price as well (ALTHOUGH a little bit saltly, but just nice if you have it with rice)	good and secure.
ETTan 2008-08-17 until 2008-08-19	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) I was greatly satisfied with the room provided which was nice and comfortable. Room was spacious with balcony, bathtub and safe-box + many tv channels to choose from. There are 2 pools that you can choose to swim and with jacuzzi facility at one side! Morning breakfast with variety and was nice. Nice reception staffs and will definately return to Areca Lodge when back to Pattaya!	No problems encounter with the booking with Sawadee. Great service!

(North) The Areca Lodge is a good,clean well located hotel to stay at a very good price.Reception staff very friendly with smiles even late at night.Some of the restuarant staff are unfriendly and not very helpfull.We have stayed at the Areca twice and will definetly stay there again on our next visit to Pattaya.Book well in advance if you plan to stay at the Areca because it is a very popular hotel.	Exellent!!!!
Lee Kian Tiong 2008-08-10 until 2008-08-11	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Quality of the room is acceptable. However, the hotel is very unaccommdating regarding extension of check out time. My flight back home is 8.15pm and have requested for late check out at 2pm which they refusing profusely. Insisting that they are experiencing high occupancy which I find it hard to believe as the hotel was pretty quiet actually. Also the breakfast spread is limited. Location of the hotel is about 10 min to the sea but easily 30 min to walking street. For the same price, I think one can easily get a hotel nearer to the beach. will not stay there again.	Efficient and fast though rate are sometime higher than other online websites.

(North) this was my second stay there. cheerful service from staff, clean rooms, great location, and reasonable rates. i will be back.	pretty efficient for me until they wanted a fax confirmation of the bank transfer. they finally accepted a scanned document instead.
Jeffrey Steven Elsmore 2008-07-28 until 2008-08-04	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) The hotel is quite good value for money. However, the rooms are a bit worn and tired looking. I found the building work next door a bit noisy during the day and that stopped me sitting around the pool. The balcony I had was tiny and not of any use. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great if you want to be near the centre of town and close to the bars. I am unsure if I would stay there again.	First class, easy booking - as usual.
Melvyn James 2008-07-25 until 2008-07-29	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) The staff here was friendly enough, i m not sure if i got the short straw at this hotel as it was full when i arrived. So i was given a room they probably left until nothing else was left. It was roomy enough too, but on entering the room there was a stale smell from within. The fabric furniture certainly needed replacing or a good wash. A stall and a lounger made from plastic would of been better as there wouldn t of been a smell coming from them. Nothing of mine went anywhere near them, i did ask to change rooms but there was nothing left i was told. Not forgetting building work going on outside too, these guys start work ealy and go on well into the night. So if you re like me, love the nightlife and like rolling into your hotel in the early hours of the morning, forget about a long sleep in! Breakfast wasn t much of a choice, but it was just ok. Can t see myself staying there again though, i was recommended another hotel further up the road and that was a lot newer and worth the money.
RWE 2008-07-12 until 2008-07-19	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Good, clean hotel. Two nice pools. My room faced the construction site, but the sound was non-existent with the door closed and the air conditioner on. Location is good, with the exception of crossing second road. Breakfast was included, was very good, and varried slightly from day to day. I would definitely stay there again.	sawadee.com is always a pleasure.
Henry Thomas Miller 2008-07-06 until 2008-07-12	Areca Lodge, Pattaya, 2nd Rd. (North) Hotel was outstanding. The room was clean, well maintained, and large. It was equipped with TV (40+) channels covering all major languages, refrigerator (2 free bottles water /day), electronic safe, and staff did a great job cleaning room every day. The hotel has two pools and both are beautiful and well maintained, with food and drink service. There is parking for cars and/or motorbikes if you rent one. The internet service on site costs 1 baht/minute about going rate in local pay for service centers. The staff is extremely friendly, and breakfast is great -- cereal, breads, juice, cook to order eggs, fresh fruits, choice of Thai dishes, coffee and tea. Many families staying here. Highly recommend and would stay again.	Booking service was outstanding. Did everything electronically, and all was in order when I showed up. Also price was good -- 150 baht day less then if booked with hotel directly. Hotel would not match rate negotiated by Sawadee.com Would use again.

I found the hotel excellent throughout, clean rooms, lovely staff, great location, couldn t fault it for the price. Buffet breakfast provided and rooms are spacious and air conditioned, also two swimming pools and satellite tv. only drawback at present is the building work going on at both the side and rear of the hotle	very efficient booking service at pattayahotels.com

(North) Group of 11 aussies travelled together stayed 5 nights and had a great time at this hotel, clean rooms, 2 great pools, paid 1350 bt for an extra night, great airconditioners, great value for money and very close to the action, building works next door, but no noise heard. BEST VALUE ROOMS AROUND. WOULD DEFINATELY RETURN	Great help....
