White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. The garden is beautiful and the staff is kind and friendly. But the suite bedroom was not was we expected, the rats was running along nights in the roof, the air-conditioned working with problem (water in the room), so it was not good for those matters. I had spoken already to the manager about these matters, when you pay 55 € per night in Thailand, you expected better that what s we had.... Philippe GARNIER. |
Booking is ok. |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. What a shitty place. The first room was full of bed-bugs!!! The place is dirty, pool and garden badly maintained. When we have seen the Breakfast-Buffet we v been not hungry anymore;-( 95% of the Guests are from Russia and it seems as if they accept this mess, I dont. Never ever stay here again!!! |
I recomend sawadee.com to remove this hotel from their list or at least give out a warning. |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. This hotel was not very nice at all. There were 2 pools as I assume the hotel used to be 2 seperate hotels and is now one. The first one was algae green and had hair, feathers and dirt floating on top and dirt that had sunk to the bottom - disguisting! We would not chance going in for fear of catching something. We tried 4 hotel rooms before finally accepting the best of a bad bunch. The first one had a large hole in the wall that was stuffed with newspaper. The second and third one had bathrooms that were really dirty and the shower curtains were covered with mould. Our bathroom didn t have a hot shower all of the time and when you flushed the toilet you were sprayed with toilet water from the handle. The room smelt horrid - musty and so did the sheets. When you sit around the pool it stinks of sewage and the tiles on the bottom of the pool in the baby pool cut our feet and knees! Not great for babies then! It is like a derelict hotel and you sit it an old reception for breakfast with broken lights, holes in the floor, peeling paint etc. The staff who work here are so miserable not like your usual thai staff and who could blame them!? I think this is a Russian package holiday resort. |
Fine! |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. We arrived VERY late on the 12. of february, and the hotel were fully booked. However, our room was available, but was not very nice. Looked old, and was dirty. The service at the hotel were good, but we chose to check out the following morning. I am however very satisfied with Sawadee, and will always book my trips to Thailand here. Maybe we where unlucky with the room, and this influenced our experience at the hotel. Per Morten |
Very good. NO complaints! Can recommend Sawadee! |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. An older hotel in need of painting and maintenance, but for the price the room was sufficient. The hotel staff was very good, prompt to answer questions and provide any service. Close to the beach, about a block or so, but you must pass many, many bars and cigarettes to get there. |
Very good, as has been our past experience with Sawasdee.com also. |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. Nice pictures shown- must have been a nice palace 15 years ago!Red-light and darkness in front now. Excellent administration - could top any public admin in Europe. Bothering discussions on issues resulting after in peanuts!Service, Thai hospitality? Forgotten in this place, probably soon eaten by surrounding buildings. Breakfast? Tired as Pattaya farangs inn the morning, just leave and go outside! Rooms? Need maintanance! So? Simply cheap, but not cheap enough for this. |
Excellent, individual, fast! But they should know that a single room is a room with one big bed and a room for a single person |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. Our group really enjoyed our stay at the white house hotel The hotel itself, had excellent facilities including a fantastic large swimming pool and brilliant, generous breakfasts included. We also thought the rooms were all of an excellent standard and all enjoyed the television facilities especially the movie channel. We were lesser impressed by the setting of the hotel. We feel that the nature of the area should be at least mentioned on the hotel s website. |
the booking service was helpful and efficient. I was pleased to receive help booking 12 rooms (more than was an option in the drop down box) when i requested these rooms in the box at the bottom of the form. Booking was fast and this really helped me when planning out trip. |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. Huge and long resort situated in the end of a cosy and lively (two minute walk) alley, filled with Scandinavian bars and restaurants. In the other end of the alley is the Jomtien Beach Road situated. The pool that is actually swimmable doesn t look too clean though. Great breakfast buffet with American and Continental choises! The rooms are clean and well kept with good AC, but the cans of drinks inside the fridge were dirty. The elevator is dodgy, it stopped a lot. We know the area and the hotel from earlier trips and use it as a transit area to other parts of eastern Tahiland after a long flight to Bangkok. The hotel has great staff that understands english during day time and helpfull staff in the cashiers desk with a safety box service. But have an eye on things so that there will be no misunderstandings. Some experienced that their cleaning was sendt to another hotel room etc. The Scandinavian bars and restaurants close at 1:00 am, so it is a cosy and quiet area at night. We came back and stayed here an additonal three more days before leaving for our return to Europe from Bangkok. |
Sawadee.com is an excellent way to get good discounts and it s safe. Totally recommendable! |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. A very old house but the rooms are ok. If you want to stay here, so take rooms in the 2nd. building with look to the pool. The rooms just after the lobby are not so nice! A lot of people from former USSR are in the hotel! And if you would like to have a place at the pool, you have to be placed your towel befor the others! Breakfastbuffet is warm but not hot. If some food is empty it´s needs a long time before the bring some new, if they bring some. A lot of skandinavien bars in front of the hotel. |
No problems at all! |
| Raymond Kelly 2005-12-04 until 2005-12-11 |
White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. The room was basically OK (needed a little bit of decorating) but the hotel is old and in need of some renovation and the main pool did not seemed to be in use. The first impression when you walk into the hotel is poor, again needs decorating! Staff were OK |
Excellent, I will use again on my next visit to Thailand |
| Douglas K Hardie 2005-10-26 until 2005-10-30 |
White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. Reasonable for the price, but beware the cockroaches, the lack of power points (gents, don t bother with electric shavers, ladies, don t bother with hair driers) and the truely awful reception staff. Hotel full of very large Russians. |
Excellent, as always |
| Guillemain 2005-07-28 until 2005-08-02 |
White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. It s a very nice place, calm, not so much tourist. The room is clean with a nice view. The food is good and not expansive. It was a very good moment for us. |
No problem. All was OK |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. White House Resort is a bit old, but friendly people and they are repairing older parts of the building at this moment. Good location close to beach in Jomtien and not too noisy because a little bit away from the busy beach road and from the traffic |
impeccable booking service, friendly, professional and to the point. I will use Sawadee again in the future for my bookings |
| Mr.George Westenbrink 2005-04-13 until 2005-04-16 |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. I booked the White House Hotel in Pattaya on the strength of the internet. I recommend that you do not bother or for that matter book this hotel, the photos must have been taken from another hotel, a smart one, this did not apply to this Hotel. I paid 1100 bht and was shown a room which can best be described as a disgrace, tatty bed linen, dirty walls and very basic furniture, yet this was described as luxury. On complaing I was moved to another room, an improvement but still not as advertised. The staff were friendly and courteous, no complaints with them but the owners have a very dirty and untidy hotel, there is rubbish in the corridors the swimming pool has broken tiles, it is just not a place to feel comfortable, what we used to call in England a doss house for the homeless. As you can guess by now, i did not stay and moved to the Grand Jomtien Palace, a little more expensive at 1600 bht, but the comparison was a palace compared with a shack. Give this hotel a miss unless you a re a backpacker, then you should be paying 400 bht a night and they are still robbing you. |
Booking service fine, they sorted out a refund very quickly |

White House Resort, Jomtien Beach Rd. budget price, fine accomodation and service, convenient arrangement, many restorants around, 30 baht to Walking str. by tuk-tuk... What is it necessary for good farang? :) Nice place, really. |
