Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice resort, helpfully and friendly staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Only the aircon unit is next to the bed, can be quite annoying when you are trying to sleep. The breakfast so not have much variety. Overall a very pleasant stay at the resort. The beach is about 250m away. |
Good booking service- we had no problems |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very fantastic services. Every staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I am very enjoyed. Hotel room is very nice however, It will be nicer than this if they provided bathub and less bug. |
Booking services are completely perfect. I can get the room easy even booking for 1 day early. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice resort and friendly staffs. The room was spacious and clean. Only that the air con unit is next to the bed, can be quite annoying when you are trying to sleep and face some difficulties in adjusting the shower temperature. The breakfast so not have much variety. Overall a very pleasant stay at the resort. The beach is about 200m away. Will go back to the resort if I visit Hua Hin next time. |
Very efficient and reliable. I never faced any problem using sawadee.com. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. It s really a good place to stay. The garden, the bungalow, and the swimming pool....everything are wonderful and over the price. Though there isn t a good beach around there, but if you prefer a quiet, charming holliday, it s a good choice. I d like to stay there once more, and I d like to recommend it my friend. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. nice and cozy place to relax, not too many villa units. Staff very friendly, well organized. A bit way out of town, own transport (at least a rental motorcycle) of advantage if you do not want to rely on tuktuk service |
prompt, professional as ever |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. verry verry good i chose this resort based on what the posts said and was even better than expected, the staff were friendly, the pools where clean and close to the rooms, the beach is large and empty take your own food and drinks, the town is to far to walk 20b bus or tut tut 10min, ok downsides the air con verry verry noisy and next to the bed,if you have a special lady to spend time with or a quite holiday with the family this is the place. |
verry good |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very satisfied. Clean and nice room. Friendly staff. Good service. Excellent breakfast (buffet). What a shame that we had no time to use the hotel s two swimming pools. Maybe, next time. |
Two thumbs up! Fast booking. Very helpful staff. They provided me some good alternatives and suggestions after my first choice had been fully booked.. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. This hotel was a very nice hotel if you are looking for a place to go to relax. Each bungalow has a glass front that you can see the beautiful landscaping they have done. It is a short walk to the beach. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. |
Booking was quick and easy. No complaints. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. We truly enjoyed our stay. We loved our little hut, the pool and the lush green surroundings and felt very comfortabel. The staff was fantastic and we really loved the little laid back restaurant with great local food. Our children (aged 1 and 7) really enjoyed it and seemed to be the hit among the staff. We truly recommend this place. The beach is within easy walking distance and quite nice. |
Very good indeed. We were really happy that the comments of other guests could be trusted and helped us make a good decission. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. This is a place for us: very cosy, excellent service, cute bungalows which all surround big enough pools (there s two pools). Ie. if you are keen on 5 star Hilton or other American playground for stinky rich people, this is not for you. If you want peace, green gardens, personal service and place like your own summer cottage , this is for you. Location is good, 200m to the beach, 200m to the good steak restaurant (Papa John s steak house). To the store and shopping areas you ll have to take a tuktuk, but it s 100-150bht (2-3 euros). The resort area is lush green and very good place for families with small children ..and the rest of us too:). Only minus is a breakfast. It s cold american buffet with 3 kinds of eggs, bacon and sausage with white bread. Breakfast is served outside. And if you want to eat dinner in the duangkaew, don t...food is ok, but the restaurant is not. Go to Takiab Village, it s full of small genuine Thai restaurants. Overall a very good value for money - go there!! |
Worked, so excellent! |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. We ve stayed at Baan Duangkaew many times and have never had a bad stay. Love the two swimming pools and bungalows in a tropic, floral setting. Although this hotel is not on the beach, nor can you see the beach from the hotel, the beach is a short walk from the hotel. Such a relaxing environment! Friendly, kind staff and good restaurant on site. |
Sawadee.com has been very accomodating in the past with changing dates and room types. Very prompt service. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. This is a really great place to stay - the individual cabins are well very comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. Would certainly go back. Staff were at all times helpful and pleasant. Nice pool too. Great location - a little walk from the beach |
Worked very well |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Great value for the money, very helpful friendly staff, beautiful garden setting with two lovely pools. The rooms were spacious, pleasant and clean - all overlooking pools. No problem getting into town - highly recomend for families, though pools not fenced off. For best massage in town walk to the end of the street and straight opposite on Petchakasem road you will see a small house with sign for massage and taxi service. Hua Hin is a great place. |
Good booking service- we had no problems |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice hotel on a very quiet romantic place, very friendly and helpfuly staff. The hotel is not at the beach, but this is no problem, because the beach of HuaHin are/is not nice ... rent a motocycle and drive from the hotel to a other beach in the south (15min) ... |
perfect like every time |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Excellent place. Nice, quiet and a short walk to the beach. A short ride with the tuk-tuk to Hua Hin city. I ll stay here again when in Hua Hin. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice. The location is good, just out of town to make it quiet but only a 100-Baht tuk-tuk ride from the busy areas. It s a very leafy place.Very tranquil and relaxing and the trees provide nice shade. The bungalows were nice and roomy and very clean. However, the showers were poor,no water pressure and either scalding hot or ice cold with no indication when it would be one or the other! The staff were very helpful and the little restaurant offered great lunches and dinners at a reasonable price. The breakfast was the same every day,a bit boring. |
Top notch. |
| Amanda Pasfield 2007-07-30 until 2007-08-02 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. I loved Baan Duangkaew Resort, it is intimate and cosy with approximately 30 bungalows on the grounds each of them gorgeously decorated and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Each bungalow either faces or backs on to one of the 2 swimming pools on the grounds. The staff were extremely helpfull and friendly and speak English very well. I appreciated the ability to relax by the pool of the resort at the end of a one month holiday travelling around Thailand and can honestly say that this was the best resort in it s price range. |
Very good. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Located a few klm s south of Huahin this small resort is really nice. The rooms are great, nice pools, friendly staff. Very good choice for a romantic stay. Quiet and comfortably. Free internet is good. Staff are friendly. Breakfasts are a little oordinary, but included so order extras. I highly recommend this place. Will come back again. |
Booking service is good. Would be nice to have an instant answer on the booking, but all went trouble free. Great! |

Our best rekomendations, the staf friendly and helpful, the bungalows big and kleen, the garden orund the bungalows vell treated ,the two pools clean and nice but not so big. Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Spent our last 2 nights of a touring holiday in Thailand at this resort, wish it could have been longer. A beautiful setting, just outside Hua Hin itself (free bus to town centre morning and evening)and just a few minutes walk from long, quiet part of beach (with great massage/reflexology) lovely indiviual bungalow with balcony which overlooked pool and well kept grounds. Wouldn t hesitate to return to Baan Duangkaew, staff friendly and attentive, owner arranged a pick up from train station when we phoned to say we were delayed and didn t arrive until after midnight, well done and thank you, much appreciated after a long hot day travelling! |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Hotel is very good, the service excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. As I have a car there was no problem with the hotel being located away from the centre of Hua Hin in fact I see that as an advantage. Bikes were available free of charge and we made good use of them and no problem riding on the roads. We liked their idea of the library where we could read the local English newspapers and generally relax. I will certainly go back there again. |
I have now used you several times and the service has been excellent. |
| David Price 2006-11-18 until 2006-11-30 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Every bit as good as the photos on the web site. Staff were really nice and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is a bit out of town (free taxi into Hua-hun at night - 100Bht in a TukTuk back) and about 10 mins on a bycicle from the hotel to the best beach . Tip hotel offer free bycicle loan, out of the resort up to the main road, turn left and cycle down the road for about 8 mins until you see the Blue Wave hotel on the left, turn left the beach is at the end of the road. its flat most of the way so an easy ride. There are a few restaurants and bars in walking distance of the resort on the main road. The resaurant at the resort is also worth trying and not expensive. Hua-hin is good at night, night markets and some great places to eat. We pick the cheap slightly tatty looking places that are full of Thai locals - 2 beers, 3 main dishes, 2 portions of rice around 350 Bht and great food. The hotel have a free access internet PC behind reception, useful for staying in touch with family back home. |
I ll be back! To book through Sawadee next year! |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Wonderful place to stay. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Bungalows lovely and clean, each one very private due to lush foilage surrounding each unit. Both pools beautifully kept, lovely place to relax with a book.Wonderful restaurant at resort open from 7am to 9pm great food and lovely staff. Very cheap. Twice daily a shuttle to Hua Hin free of charge approx 5 mins. Would not hesitate to come back glad we stayed here and not in Hua Hin as it was so peaceful. Would recommend to anyone. |
No problems at all. Would use again. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice hotel , it looks more like individual small Thai bungalow. Very quiet place, not too far from downtown. If you have your own computer, internet is included in the price of the room. A little problem with hot water, but 5 min after everything was all right. Very nice service. |
Excellent |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. I was very pleased with the resort. Nice staff, everything worked smoothly. I liked the small bungalows. The exotic garden was green and leafy with different trees and flowers. The pool was clean, close to the bungalow. I was surprised the area of the resort was so small. The moste negative thing was the disturbing noise from the neighbouring house/restaurant (?) (loud music most nights) and traffic outside the resort from early morning, even if it was not the mainstreet to Khao Takiab. The walk to the beach was short and no big deal. All in all I am very pleased and would not hesitate to use it again! |
Excellent! |
| Shelly Lowe 2006-09-11 until 2006-09-14 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Fantastic accommodations. Quiet, great little restaurant (but breakfast was kind of lacking in imagination) and superb staff. Great little swimming pool and comfortable, very clean little cottage. |
great, as usual! |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. The hotel is very quiet and good value for money. It is around 100 meters from the beach. The staff are pleasant, though they did not have very good english. Disappointed with the beaches in Huahin. Sand is Yellow and water not clean. The facilities of the hotel is a bit basic, though overall the stay was pleasant. |
Good and efficient. relable. Will definitely use again. |
| Andrew Myers 2006-06-02 until 2006-06-05 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. We had a very nice stay during the Hua Hin Jazz Festival. The room was nice and well appointed. There were two small drawbacks. First there is some new construction in the immediate area which caused some congestion but suprisingly little noise or dust but we had to walk past it to get to the beach. Second the beach is maybe 200-300 meters from the Resort. The staff was helpful and friendly and helped us with a reliable taxi service and an excellent restaurant recommendation for Khun Green s seafood restaurant. All in all a good value for 1/2 the price of a comparable beachfront resort. |
Everything was smooth |
| Miss Tina Jones 2006-03-08 until 2006-03-18 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Bungalows were wonderful. Approx 20 Thai bunaglows set around 2 swimming pools and in lush gardens. Very short walk to the beach. Rooms were very clean with nice little touches. Staff were very helpful and arranged various trips for us. Complimentary shuttle into town and beach, also to Elephant Village. Only downside was building of new hotel next door, which although we didn t have to look at, we did hear on most days. However, this will soon be finished and it in no way spoiled our stay there. Beautiful surroundings and I would not hesitate returning there or recommending. In my opinion much better than a chain hotel, where once inside, you could be anywhere in the world. |
Excellent. Good communication, fast and efficient. Would not hesitate to use again. |
| E. Rutland 2006-02-20 until 2006-02-28 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. beautiful hotel, very good and helpful staff, excellent breakfasts, lovely grounds and swimming pool. short tuk-tuk ride to shops and restaurants in Hua-hin. beaches close by. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. This is a very special place. Nice, quiet and the staff most outstanding. Only 24 Chalets in circles arround two swimmingpools. Lots of Flowers, trees and other greenery. We stayed 23 days/nights and even than felt sorry to leave. We can only recommend the resport. Good Value for money. |
All our Thailand Holidays are booked through your service for many years now. Would not use anyone else. Very good and efficiant service. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Loved the Baan Duangkaew Resort. Serenity...in the heart of nature. Walking distance to Chopstick Hill. Great little bungalows. Clean and private. Great atmosphere. Exactly like web site descriped. I would stay here again! Very romantic. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice big bungalows in a beautiful, quiet garden with pool. Breakfast is poor (not a big buffet like in a hotel)5 kilometers away from noisy Hua-Hin center. Twice a day 11 am and 18 pm a free shuttle. Beach: not so beautiful: many jelly fishes. A nice walk at the beach to the big buddha. Beside the resort: the huts of the poor workers. |
excellent! |
| Brigitte Grah 2005-09-29 until 2005-10-09 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Absolutly nice area. Further from the center, close to the beach. You get a chair and an umbrella at the beach any time you want. Two times a day a free transfer to the center. Friendly staff. I enjoyed it so much und gonna come again next year with friends. |
Super! |
| Michelle Sanson 2005-09-22 until 2005-09-26 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Beautiful place, with immaculate bungalows with verandahs overlooking lovely gardens and blue swimming pool. The breakfast was nice but the restaurant generally did good Thai and not so good Western. The place is 7km from the town of Hua Hin which means it is nice and quiet and the beach, which is 100m down the road, is sparsely populated and beautiful. This is not really a problem as there is a free ride to town at 11am and 6pm daily, so you can still do the night market and shopping thing. But if you are the sort of person who shops more than relaxes and goes to the beach, it won t be the place for you. Overall I would strongly recommend this place and would stay there again if I went back. |
Excellent - and the prices are cheaper than booking direct, as they tend to be another 10% plus service and VAT, so for example I paid 1800 baht over sawasdee for this place and to book directly was something like 2500 baht per night. A big difference. |
| Robert Tyler 2005-06-24 until 2005-06-27 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Very nice, clean bungalow in beautiful garden surrounding small swimming pools. Not on the beach but only about 400m walk down quiet street. Breakfast was OK but didn t eat any other meals there as the seafood in town is too good! Staff all semmed very pleasant. Would definitely stay again. |
No problem, quick to receive confirmation. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Great place for a couple to spend a few days together. Friendly helpful staff,2 good swimming pools and very nice gardens. The bungalows are modern and very clean. Recommended. |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. The bungalows were really good, they were let down by the quality of their restaurant. The pool was small but very clean. The beach is a dream |
No problems at all, very good. |
| Linda Etridge 2005-02-25 until 2005-03-03 |
Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. a really luxurious place to stay. individual thai style bungalows but with all the modern conveniences. spacious, roomy, great service, nothing was too much trouble, walk off our balconey straight into the swimming pool or a short walk to a beautiful beach. Location was a little isolated but if you want a calm relaxing holiday this is the place. Free transfers are available to the town and other beaches at several times during the day if you a different scene. one tip try the Lets Sea restaurant about 600 mts away on the sea front, beautiful food, romantic setting and you must visit the loos (they are brilliant). One complaint the TV had only 1 english station out of 40 and that was eurosport asia, no films, no news. |
found them efficient and quick to reply. used the service several times all over Asia. no problems except once they booked incl of breakfast but hotel said it wasn t. a slight problem but was resolved in a day. |

Baan Talay Dao, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Baan Talay Dao We stayed in one of the Studios in February and had a great holiday.A lovely place to unwind. The food was good and dining right next to the sea was superb. The views were realy quite magnificent with a very tall golden statue of Buddah at the end of the bay. The staff were all very helpful and the free shuttle bus to Hua Hin was an added incentive to stay here. It was also easy to get a taxi or Tuk-Tuk from just otside the hotel.A short walk along the beach leads you to some nice restraunts one called Lets-Sea was really worth the short walk. The tide comes right up to the sea wall infront of the hotel leaving a beautiful clean beach to swim or walk to other places of interest. The rooms are very comfortable and quite spacious as was the bathroom and always cleaned to a very high standard. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room were an added bonus as was the fridge to store cool drinks. It was lovely to have our own varanda where we could sit outside enjoying the views and to appreciate the lush tropical gardens. |
Nice and Easy |

Baan Duangkaew Resort, Hua Hin Beach, Takiab Rd. Nice resort - the bungalows were great, and the gardens and swimming pools were quite relaxing. The in-room, free Internet connection was a very nice touch. |
Very responsive, everything worked perfectly. |
